We lost because of one bad call (The called ball against Pat which would've ended the inning. Instead he sends one to the stands followed up with 2 hits leading to a run)

Halladay made a couple of mistakes and the Giants took advantage. Nobody expected Cody Ross to turn two inside corner pitches into home runs.

The next game will probably decide the series however. The Phillies don't want to be down 0-2 going into San Fran.

I really like the Rangers. Even though i'm a Yankees fan, i like how they actually went out before the deadline/off-season and picked up Bats and the Pitchers matured up really fast...

Is to fucking bad, bats like "Jorge Cantu" A guy who was red-hot down at Florida, get's picked up by the Rangers, and has done shit for them...

But then again, when you see things like that, it's typical MLB shit. Guys who play in the NL first, hit better in the NL. Guys who pitch better in the NL, pitch better in the NL. That's normal, Cantu is obviously an NL guy, not AL...

Look at Javier Vazquez, had a carrier year in Atlanta-NL, gets traded to the Yankees-AL. He was already done, not even half-way in the season...

I was playing poker watching the game, beer and general depression over the game. Yankees "fans" talking shit too. I leave when I lose (Rangers down 3-2) and come home to 5-3. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

I'm happy for Texas though, they really deserve to go to the World Series. But don't think this is done just because we are down 1-3. They still have 1 more game at Yankee stadium before taking it to Texas.

Yeah. I really didn't see how Oswalt was a better option than Lidge in a situation like that...

this this this this 10x this oh my god that game caused me to dip into my alcoholism the pitching decisions were so bad.

seriously another problem i had was it pretty much looked like the only way they were going to pull durbin was if he fucking suffered a heart attack in the middle of the inning. he's a terrible pitcher and once he showed any trouble at all he should have been pulled.

it's just frustrating to watch a game be lost on terrible pitching decisions that anyone with common sense would have avoided.
 
i kept shouting at the screen "if he throws one more fastball posey is gonna smack it into right" and sure enough he hit an opposite field double that just landed foul.

I then said if he honestly throws another fastball ive just been trolled and the phillies actually dont want to win the game.

Sure enough he did.

Why the fuck wasnt he throwing offspeed stuff. All he had to do was drop ONE of those filthy 65mph hooks he was dropping late in game 2 and posey would not have had an icecubes chance in hell of making contact, would have been the second out, and would have preserved the game.

It. makes. no. sense.
