Modern Warfare 2

I really liked Mech Warrior 2, though Activision could do better with the story and maybe introduce some new Draconis units in Mech Warrior 3. It's been quite a while since MW2, but I still enjoy it nonetheless. Can't wait until they release the patch that lets me have GPU accelerated graphics, 3d will never look so good.

Favourite moment so far:

I think the picture speaks for itself, as I know everybody loves that level.

if you want to play a zombie game you're better off playing anything else that has zombies in it

Black Ops has good zombies, I don't know what you're going on about. But seriously? Anything else with zombies? Okay guys instead of playing Call of Duty Zombies let's all play Halo, Resident Evil, House of the Dead, I MAED A GAM3 W1TH Z0MB1ES 1N IT!!!1, Onechanbara, Blood Drive, Teenage Zombies: Invasion of the Alien Brain Thingys!, and other good games with zombies in them

Edit @ Veedrock: He said any game with zombies in it is better than the Call of Duty Zombies. And how exactly is something shallow and worth the cost?

(I think) What he's saying is that if you're only interest in Black Ops/CoD is Zombies, you're better off with another game. Zombies in CoD is pretty shallow and not worth the purchase in its own right, nor is it enough to make Black Ops noticably better than other CoD installments. So yes, go get a different Zombie game.

WaW Zombies > Black Ops Zombies btw.

what i'm saying is if you're that into zombies then there are a lot of other games out there that do it better, and with the oversaturation of zombies right now, it really is almost every game. CoD zombies gets dull and repetitive quickly. something like Left 4 Dead keeps the pace of CoD but makes it a lot more enjoyable.

and with the oversaturation of zombies right now, it really is almost every game.

Is this even worth proving wrong?

But just like rey said and VKCA repeated, it adds a lot to BO to provide an advantage over MW2. I don't think that's the only thing that makes it better but having a well carried out zombie mode is always a good thing. Some games like the ones I listed earlier either are terrible zombie games or have terrible zombie modes, if you think that Black Ops Zombies is bad, go play Halo: Reach Night of the Living Dead and then come back and say BO Zombies isn't good

black ops multiplayer blows ass. Hit detection sucks. The gun variety is nil. Maps suck. The only good map is summit. Mw2 is worlds ahead of black ops in fun and skill because it actually works.

MW2 taking skill hahahaha. I guess you could say that about most CoD games if you aren't doing competitive, though.

By competitive i guess you mean MLG which is a complete joke. I watched a few MLG matches on youtube and it was a huge camp fest.

Red dead redemption has the best zombies hands down
For headshots being instakill always. And it's just pretty fucking great.

But seriously? Anything else with zombies? Okay guys instead of playing Call of Duty Zombies let's all play Resident Evil

This is a fantastic idea. Good one Zacchaeus, I think I will play the definitive zombie game series over Call of Duty Zombies. Which should I play first, the game that created survival horror, RE1? How about it's remake, the best remake in video game history (better than any movie remake too). Or maybe Resident Evil 4, which is widely considered to be the best game of all time. Or maybe one of my favorite video games, Resident Evil 3 Nemesis. Fuck, people play CoD Zombies because it's cooperative right? While it's pretty forgettable, RE5 still made great strides in cooperative gameplay.

So yeah Zacchaeus, I think I will play Resident Evil over Black Ops.

And then some Left 4 Dead. Followed by some Dead Rising.

Left 4 Dead died a while back. And I didn't know that you had some fetish for Resident Evil which apparently invented zombies and then was the best video game of all time without me ever hearing a person say that. That's really odd considering that I am a gamer and associate with a lot of other gamers. Well I guess if you say that Resident Evil has the best remake of all time and the best video game of all time must be true while I've never heard anyone say that before. I'm learning a lot here. Not only did Resident Evil create its own genre, but it is the definitive zombie game series without any exceptions. I don't know why you mentioned Left 4 Dead or Dead Rising in that case when those aren't part of the legendary definitive zombie game series
Elder Scrolls average: 9.35, Resident Evil Average: 9.18
Too long; didn't read: I hate Resident Evil, it's not this godly revolutionary game that you're trying to make it seem

You don't know much about video games do you?

Elder Scrolls average: 9.35, Resident Evil Average: 9.18
So much is dumb with this. Why are comparing Elder Scrolls to Resident Evil when no one had brought Elder Scrolls up? Why are you saying 9.18 as if that is a bad score for series?

Everything I said about Resident Evil is completely true, and I didn't even mention the more popular RE game back then, which was RE2. If you've never heard of the RE remake (or as many call it, REmake), were you just living under a bridge during the early 2000s or were you just one of the elitist douchenozzles who refused to buy a gamecube?

And fuck, there's just really nothing to CoD zombies. It is an arcade game that you'll play for a few hours then get bored with. Well, so is Mercenaries mode in RE3, 4, and 5. Only that's a small sliver of the zombie action in those games.

Is Silent Hill also not very important in your eyes? How about Mario? Not a big deal am I right? There's been like 10 CoD games in the past 5 years and only 2 mario games how unrevolutionary.

Elder Scrolls is my favorite video game series, I would say Oblivion is the best game of all time, and it has zombies in it, and the Internet says Elder Scrolls is better than Resident Evil. What you said was not true, it's impossible for an opinion to be true. There is no official best game of all time, and if there is, it certainly isn't Resident Evil. Yes I do know much about video games. 9.35 is clearly a larger number than 9.18, and when you get into the 9-10 range in video game ratings, every bit counts. Who said I have never heard of Resident Evil 2? there are 5 Resident Evil games in the main series, so clearly 2 would be one of those. And I've had a Gamecube since it was released in North America. Maybe you don't think there's anything to Call of Duty Zombies because you suck at it, if you ask somebody like rey who is good at Zombies, it occupies a little bit more than a few hours before getting tired of it. Silent Hill has never interested me, and it hasn't seemed to make a huge impact on the gaming industry either. Mario was a big deal and he was fun at first but now Mario is just another way that Nintendo can get easy money for shit games.

There's been like 10 CoD games in the past 5 years and only 2 mario games how unrevolutionary

You accuse me of not knowing much about video games and you then go on to make this incredibly stupid assumption about Mario vs. CoD so I have no reason to believe that you know anything about the modern day video game industry.

There have been approximately 30 Mario games released between 2005-2010, and 12 Call of Duty games. These amounts don't include versions of the same game for different countries but the CoD number includes all of the garbage DS knock-offs that are essentially the same games just with lower quality to fit on the DS

taicrunch what an excellent image.

So I think what we can take away from this thread is that video games suck, and the only solution is to never play video games because every single one is fucking horrible.

Zach you make alot of assumptions for someone who doesn't seem to like any video games other than Elder Scrolls or CoD.

According to "Internet" Resident Evil isn't better than Elder Scrolls? Exactly what internet? According to Game Rankings, a review aggregate (and this is poor argument anyway but you brought it up so I'm just gonna do it better) Resident Evil 4 has a 95.75, putting it just under the top 10 highest ranked games, according to critics. No Elder Scrolls game is even close, though they are good games, I don't hate on games I don't understand. I like CoD, I am good at zombies, it is not a great reason to buy the game if you don't like the multiplayer or the designers.

Silent Hill hasn't made an impact on gaming? Are you trolling? Or just fucking stupid?

I don't think you've even played any of the games you are talking about. Or very many games at all. Sometimes my brother talks shit about 90s games but that's because he wasn't born until 97. Are you by any chance 13 years old?

EDIT: Fuck, Code Veronica is only 2 positions below Oblivion, and most RE fans consider Code Veronica to be one of the worst games in the series. Not to mention that most Elder Scrolls fans prefer Morrowind, which isn't as highly ranked. Review aggregate does NOT equal popular opinion.

Who said I have never heard of Resident Evil 2? there are 5 Resident Evil games in the main series, so clearly 2 would be one of those.
If this is the sort of logic I can expect from you, just give up now.

What exactly are you trying to argue anyway? That you don't like a game so therefore it is not significant? I fucking hate Jak and Daxter, but it probably improved some of Naughty Dog's skills which led them to make Uncharted, one of the most acclaimed games of this generation. If nothing else, Resident Evil popularized survival horror which makes it responsible for hundreds of games that have come out in the last 15 years. Silent Hill is used as a source of inspiration constantly for other survival horror games as well, not to mention its reputation as one of the headiest and best written game series of all time (a distinction not earned by the first game in my opinion, but that's my opinion and public opinion puts SH very high).

What exactly do you hate about Resident Evil 4? It is simply put, the best designed game ever made by a pretty wide margin. It introduced environmentally tactical gameplay that you just don't see in other games, including its sequel. There's a good reason that many people hold it as high as Ocarina of Time, FF7, and MGS.
