Monster Hunter

If I remember right overall this game actually has more content than Unite, which is pretty impressive.
 
Monster Hunter Tri is an awesome game, anyone serching for a cool online and having tons of hours of game, should get it. I spent 300 hours playing it and I didn't even beat Alatreon.
 
Bumping this as I've recently got back into playing this. Does anyone still play (mhtri), or would people be up for playing online sometime? I've tried playing with randoms and all i've had so far is people dying or quitting on me, I'm still pretty rusty, and only HR14 anyway, but it would still be cool to get a group going or something
 
Well, I do play monster hunter tri, but nothing else really because almost all the monster hunter games that I see are for PS3. And I have an xbox360 and a computer, which I don't think monster hunter has games for. If they were to make an xbox monster hunter game though, I would be thrilled.

I would totally be down for some monhan sometime. I have low and high ranked characters I could use, depending on who we get.
I also have Portable 3rd if people wanna get some adhoc action going.

I'd be down to play sometimes, Im HR 75+ so I could help you getting materials or getting higher HR :]

Aw sweet. That looks pretty awesome. But I guess I should have been more specific. An xbox monster hunter game in english?
 
I'm enjoying my first playthrough of p3rd right now (with remote joy lite giving me access to a proper camera stick), however my internet is not best friends with adhoc party.

P3rd spoilers
Am I supposed to do "The Last Supper" (or "Those Who Eat Last" depending on the translation you're using) with LR equipment? High rank Jho and Tigrex scare me to death.

I could do some hunts in tri if I'm really needed, but no promises. :P

Anybody else thinking capcom has some crazy american version of MH planned for E3 reveal during the Nintendo conference? (no I don't mean Dragon's Dogma)

Just the VP saying western monster hunter fans have "something to look forward to." They didn't outright say it wasn't coming like p3rd and p3rd HD, but that still isn't a good sign.

If it makes you feel better we'll probably get 4... :pirate:
 
Tri G is, in my opinion the most beautiful looking 3DS game out there. The scenes I've seen where you're fighting a Leviathan, swimming around underwater, with its body in the background and its looooooooong tail wrapped behind you in the foreground should look incredible in 3D. I am flabbergasted at it still not being available to US 3DS owners. What little I've seen of 4 looks to be even better, so honestly I wouldn't care if we only get 4. I've never played a single Monster Hunter game, but after seeing the footage for Tri G I want a Monster Hunter for my US 3DS soooooooooooo hard.

PSN is NeutralBees for Adhoc Party [Portable 3rd].

I'm super hype for Tri G and I really hope we get some news about it at E3. Tri G pretty much upgrades everything from Portable 3rd, which was already extremely tight(except for no online :( ).

Anyways send me a message if you want to hunt monsters. I haven't hunted in a while but I'd be down to. I'm HR110+ on Tri and end game HR6 on Portable 3rd so I can hunt pretty much anything.
 
To all you Tri guys what server are you on? I still can't believe capcom made the decision segregate the US and EU servers....

If you haven't seen it in person yet, let me tell you: it's fucking gorgeous. No youtube vid does it justice.
 
Demo out on both systems, 3ds demo does not support circle pad, but that's ok.

What are you still reading this for? Go get it.
 
Been playing the demo a bunch today. 3DS version looks a little blurry and the font isn't great, but is otherwise pretty excellent. The framerate is beautiful and the target camera works really well. Underwater is a bitch and a half without a second analog, so I really feel like the circle pad pro is gonna be necessary if you play the 3DS version.

The Wii U version is gorgeous as fuck. The framerate isn't as high as the 3DS's 60fps, but it still hovers around 40 very consistently. The gamepad works extremely well, and the touchscreen features are pretty dope.

Hyped as fuck for release now. Only a few more weeks.
