That's a difficult way to RNG Latios imo because the frame advancements are difficult to do - I recall Expert Evan having a tough time with donig it that way as well. You would exit the building on the right frame I believe, yes. The Bayleef moves in a fixed pattern if I recall so it should not advance the frame.

About that house Latios.
When I went to RNG him, the bayleef doesn't affect the frame as it's a set path.
When I went to RNG him I was 1 step away from leaving the house to talk to Steven, I'd advance the frame, go out catch Latios and check what he has. When I did his encounter frame changed... alot.
Anywhere from 3, 4, 7, 8, or 9. In no set pattern. Sometimes it would be 9, 3 times in a row or 3, 8, 3, 9, 8, 7, 8, 8, 8, 9, 3. It's quite screwy and it would just be easier for a cart abuser to do the E4 method.

No, it doesn't. Just like with any Pokemon it has an encounter frame. Like when RNG'ing for Quaza it's that of 1. So you'd do -1. As you know, but with your Latios, it changes and it seemed impossible to predict.
Oh really? Well I guess I will keep trying it on this hard way... because I caught my roamers entei and raikou. :p
I guess when I restart my game I will try the E4 way.

Hey I know what we can do. If none of us can't rng capture a riolu in the safari zone, then maybe we can try rng capturing it in the wild on the 5th gen. games.
The guide and serebii says that riolu can be found the wild in the challenger's cave, right?
If that is true, then maybe we can rng capture a non-shiny riolu with a great ball and shiny riolu with luxury ball (or something else). :)

My fiancee's Diamond cart has given up on odd delays. Cart, no cart, doesn't matter. I'm hitting consistent 1242/1244 when a good Raikou on a low frame is on 1243, both with Emerald in and out.
I've gotten two Suicunes and a Darkrai today, so I don't know why this one is being such a douche. :\

If your using a timer try moving the adjusted delay by one.
This have a slim chamce of work, works for me 50%
If you keep getting even then ypu may want to find other seed if you cannot hit odd with the gba carts
Edit: have you change your year so that your target delay is even?

In what way are you getting the Darkrai, if you don't mind my asking?
This shouldn't ever work. If it does, it's purely by some strange luck. A timer has absolutely no effect on even/odd-ness of delays hit.
This is a good idea. I was going to suggest it earlier but got lazy.
Just to offer a little more explanation: It means you can add one to the year, and subtract one from the delay you need to hit and get the same seed. This will switch the delay to be odd.
The changing the delay by one to hit even/ odd only works for me on wierd things happen with my day (pikatimer)

Unfortunately, as far as I know it's your system time. No separate time there.
lol you don't need that. Desmume time syncs with the computer time. That's almost the main point that makes RNG easier on a emulator. (Specifically manipulate the time)

I'm trying to RNG (wondercard) the shiny raikou from the recent wifi event (I know the nature is locked at Rash). I (and a friend) have been trying to get the HP Ice spread here: http://www.smogon.com/ingame/rng/dpp_rng_part5 (3B090283, 5, 31 / 11 / 31 / 31 / 31 / 30). We've hit our delay many times, but the Raikou we get is substandard. The IVs on the Raikou are always 30 / [30,31] / 31 / 7 / 6 / 2.
When my journal opens, it is on a page which says 'Caught Machoke', then I flip away from it to a page which says 'Got ____ from _____' (a trade) then flip back onto the caught machoke page. I then exit the journal and talk to the delivery man immediately. Is there anything I'm doing wrong?

^, as I understand it you're advancing the frame by 4 with your journal, then talking to the man would theoretically advance it to 5, however, there are NPCs in ALL DPPt, Pokemarts, which screw up your starting frame. So, I either recommend taking that into consideration or doing it on HGSS Cerulean or Fuschia City 'marts, as they have no NPCs, and you can track frames on HGSS.

In the main field in RNG reporter, paste your seed where it says seed and click generate. Don't fill in anything else. should give you a list of frames, and the IV's for each frame.
^, on that note, method K for HGSS captures, method J for DPPt captures, Method Wondercard IVs for, well, wondercard 'mons.
Which method is Red Gyrados on?
Preeeetty sure it's just Method K, someone will have to confirm this for me though.
