Most Generation PRNG Help / Information

Also: There is Vertical Line in RNG Reporter with the E,K,P messages so you can keep track of your current frame which is very useful as you can advance your frame with calling Elm.

Where is this vertical line, or its equivalent in the current RNG Reporter?

I'm RNG abusing on my Import copy of SS.
Can anyone tell me how to check my seed and what method to use? Everything is in Japanese and I can't make a thing out?
Also, What Methods would I use for Stationary legends in an import copy? would they be the same?
Thanks in advance, I really need to know so I can begin/finish up SS once and for all.

P.S. Would using Juggler Irwin (Mike) work instead of Elm? Because I found he also say random things and I could decipher them with my english copy of HG and just plug that into the seed to time function?

Here's the replies Irwin gives, and what the corresponding Elm reply is:

How are you.... P

I'm trying to RNG catch munchlax in diamond. Please tell me if I'm doing this correctly.

From my ID and SID I figured out that my munchlax trees are on route 209, 210 south, 212 west and 213. I chose 210 south because the NPC here could be controlled after a battle. So I battled the trainer. Saved in the grass around the honey tree. Reset. Found my initial seed. Then by looking at the PIDs using the initial seed to generate Method 1 results on the main screen of the RNG reporter I figured out that the PID at frame 197 would give me a munchlax (because the PID at frame 197 would correspond to column 0 which would give a munchlax) but the PID at frame 199 gives me a tree shake value of 0! Before I ask my question, let me tell me you that I advanced my RNG to 197 by flipping my journal 98 times and then slathered the tree with honey. Now my questions are:
Did I do everything fine?
I got a tree shake value of 0! Does it mean that munchlax won't appear or just that when he appears, the tree won't shake?
Do I actually have to wait 6 hours before a pokemon appears or can I change my time on DS to 6 hours ahead?
Lastly, if munchlax DOES appear after 6 hours, then in order to RNG his nature, ability and IVs, I have to find a suitable spread on method J? The initial frame being 2. So, if I find a spread that's on a date different from one currently on my DS will it make munchlax go away or does he stay there for a time irrelative of my DS clock time?

Thank you anyone who can help me out.
Just so if you want to calculate my munchlax trees for me, my ID = 52354 and SID = 61809.

ok im lf an ursaring in Acuity lakefront (platinum), i have the emerald cartidrage inside my ds, the slot is correct , and this is my shiny spread:
PID: e5169503 (ADAMANT, ability 1) 31/30/30/22/30/31 (Seed: 0b090da3 Method 1: 204, J (synch): 137, J (no synch): None, K (synch): 139, K (no synch): 137) HP POISON 70
how do i hit an even delay (3480) if my average delay is already even?
*btw i hit 3481 and i´m using eon timer
sorry but english is not my first language :P

Change the year by +/- 1 in the Seed to Time section and the Delay will become 3479 or 3481 (I think if you change it by +1 it'll be 3481, but Idk for sure) ;)

I haven't RNGed in 4th gen in a while and I've never RNGed an ID. I'm trying to RNG an ID onto my Platinum. This is the seed:

770F1669 2011 03 17 15:28:40 5726 T, T, T, T, T, H, T, H, H, H

However, I'm having trouble consistently hitting around my target delay. I vary somewhere between +-40 delay and like 1 second. Could I somehow use EonTimer to make myself not fail? Even with that, does anyone have any tips on how I can hit the delay? Any info like how long the end cut-scene with the TV would be helpful.

I've never did ID/SID abuse on Pt, but I would say using Eon timer would be a major help. As for hitting your delay, just listen to the rhythm of the beeps and hit A exactly on the last beep. It's kind of hard to explain.

Thanks Keibin and Winters Zombie, I truly appreciate it.
So, after doing some late night/early dusk research I have concluded and hopefully successfully deciphered what Irwin says in the calls.
First, I found his name thanks to Buonaparte and firefox's multilanguage support.
Also, I could confirm that Irwin (mike in Japanese) is the one I'm calling as he says 3 different things.
Judging by how many line or clicks of a I have to press before he hangs up I can conclude what he says with both the American and Japanese version in contrast
When asks a bunch of questions about the player I can easily find that out by all the question marks, so there goes "P" in Elm pattern for RNGreporter. Am I right so far?
Hearing about your escapades is a one liner in the American version, if the same in the import there is one call he indeed does take one a click to end the call. There's our "E".
Now the thing that gets me a little eerie is the other call I get on the American version and it's like 2 a buttons away from hang up. While in the import it's like 3. Now It might just be that America got the rough translations which makes sense or maybe what I think is "E" and "K" are really switched around. Also, I looked for "!" and there is not as many as in the American for the call with 3 clicks so...maybe it's just me, but can anyone confirm what I'm doing is right? If not link to a place where they explain how to rng with an import version that I can use as a guide?
Thanks again in advance and for your time.

Okay, so I want to try and go for a BCC Scyther on my .sav. What's a reasonable target frame to shoot for?

I did a seed that was around frame 50-ish.
I started the BCC from the top right entrance, as it was easier to get to the grass.

Thanks Keibin and Winters Zombie, I truly appreciate it.

Irwin advancement calls
A: Adventures (He tells you how thrilling he finds your adventures)
C: Call (He wanted to call you sooner)
H: How are you? (A lot of "how" questions)

A = E (Evolutions)
C = K (Kanto)
H = P (PKRS)

Did you every try it on a game cart, or did you try on an Emulator? Because I got super weird results when I tried on a game cart :P

Also, would the item honey be a good replacement for a Sweet Scenter, so that I can bring my one pokemon as a Synchronizer and not a sweet scenter?

Yep, that's best.

Emulator, it should work the same with carts though. Just run to the grass as fast as you can, open the menu. See where you are in the seed.

Can't use items in BCC. So it's Sweet Scent or nada.

I have these seeds with my new plat ID:

PID: E9B838A5 (Adamant, ability 1), IVs: 31/30/31/15/31/31, seed: A4160986, delay: 2427 (year: 2011), method 1: 57, J (synch): 2, J (no synch): None, HP: Dragon 70
PID: EC963D8F (Timid, ability 1), IVs: 31/19/31/30/30/31, seed: EE1208CC, delay: 2241 (year: 2011), method 1: 100, J (synch): None, J (no synch): None, HP: Ground 70
PID: 69B8B8A5 (Careful, ability 1), IVs: 31/30/31/15/31/31, seed: 24160986, delay: 2427 (year: 2011), method 1: 57, J (synch): 4, J (no synch): None, HP: Dragon 70

I've never actually done any RNGing in Plat - only in SS and White. From what I understand, most legendaries in Plat use Method J. Does this mean that I can't use my Timid spread on legendaries since it says "None" under method J? Also, does this mean that if I bring a Careful natured syncher then I can encounter a shiny legendary on frame 4?

All you got to do is a little math xD! It's not that bad!

When it says none, it means there are none of that spread on that seed for Method J/K.

When it lists the low numbers, it means that is the lowest frame that yields that spread. So The lowest for the Careful spread with be on frame 4, but there may be higher frames. You'd have to check in RNG reporter.
