what's the difference between version 4.10 and 4.01?

ok, if it doesnt work this time i will try that mingot, and no, my ditto isn't holding an everstone atm. thanks
EDIT: So i just hatched an Impish Eevee, which is the nature I wanted, but it wasn't shiny again, so if I get the next few eggs and they all have an Impish nature, then I have the wrong Secret ID, correct?
Are there any walking NPCs on the screen?
Shiny Rotom IS possible using the RNG I just hatched one yesterday that had the correct nature.is shiny Rotom just not possible with this method? This is the second time that I have gotten the right nature, but not a shiny, could the fact that it is a semi-legendary affect it in any way?
It's only Giratina that does that :(Hmm. I'm getting frame 1 with Palkia even with the map App open. Guess it's only with Method 1 pokémon? I can't test Cresselia because I, huh, killed her way before I started these shiny abuses. I could swear defeated pokémon returned to their homeplaces to be fought again :/
So even though you're using a random wild pokemon's ivs to find the seed, then calculate the number of taps and flips you'll still be able to use the spreads you find for any pokemon to breed, except legendaries for now?

Abusing the RNG J method for Azelf. You have to manually find spreads, so it's not as easy. Found this and got it, just for fun.

So you can only get the high level Resort Magikarp on Platinum... Well that's unfortunate as I don't have it yet. Well I wasted a good half hour looking for them on my Pearl... Anyway, from what I read on other pages (was rifling through old and new posts when I found this one answering a previous question), it's okay to not have exact IVs when you input them? Example; my just caught Raticate had IVs of 4/18-19/6/0-1/31/11. It's okay to put the 18 and the 0 in RNG and loook for spreads, then the 19 and 1 if I don't like any of those prior? The Pokemon on Route 229 are about level 50. Also, if you're playing Platinum, if you fish in the Resort Area, you can catch Magikarp anywhere from level 1 to 100. Since these Pokemon are at such high levels, they will usually give pretty accurate results when you run their stats through in an IV checker.
From there, you can usually brute force the RNG Reporter with whatever combination of IVs that are possible for the Pokemon you caught. Usually it's only 16 at most, and most often only something like 4. This will give you your initial IRNG seed.

*Edit* Are reasonable numbers of Happiness Taps and Coin Flips found easily? I kept getting numbers for Happiness Checker taps above 1000.
How do you find the "offset" for the egg? I get the frame, but what if the frame is like 203? The offeset spot in the timer only has 2 spots...
I finally got around to trying it with my calculated SID, and I did everything on the tutorial and followed the video.
I ended up with a Feebas with the correct predicted Nature and Gender, but not shiny. (I did click the Shiny box after testing for the initial seed~)
Does this mean the SID I inputted was incorrect, or something else? I'm thinking I must have accidentally tapped the Friendship checker an extra time (97 taps, 10 coin flips) or something, and that would have messed up the RNG. D: I can't be sure though. Maybe I should recalculate my shiny starly's PID. My Trainer ID was 02994 and my Starly's PID was CDADF371.
Is there any way to adjust for delay? I've managed to get a delay of 627 almost EVERY time I've done this. However, my desired spread is at 628.
What can be done to adjust for delay? Is delay parallel with time? Should I wait an extremely small amount of time longer?
You're lucky to be getting the same delay. The solution to your problem is simple. Only look for spreads with a 627 delay. Is there any way to adjust for delay? I've managed to get a delay of 627 almost EVERY time I've done this. However, my desired spread is at 628.

13678?
Also, get the next 4 eggs, see if they are the correct nature to follow the one that should have been shiny. If thats the case your SID is definately wrong.
Damn lol.
1)I use Vile's clock and synch my DS with that.
2)At H:M:00, I turn the game off.
3)I put my AR in and turn the fast egg ghatch and iv check code on.
4)I start the game while pressing A as fast as possible.
5)I get the egg and hatch it due to the code.
6)I catch the wild pokemon and input it IVs, nature and yada yada into the seed finder.
7)I take note of that pokemon's seconds and delay.
8)I follow the steps after that, but when I find my egg's frame, I get numbers in the 200's plus. Once I even got 8444... :(
o.o wait, so what exactly IS the delay? I'm not sure if I ever got an answer to that, since the spreads I need have a delay of 618, and I generally hit 616, 618 or 622, the delay's about the last thing I need to figure out for IV breeding :X
13678? Is that what my SID should look like? >_> Don't know how I went so far off from that.
Yeah, I just followed all the directions again, and the prediction said my egg should be female and timid. I just hatched it. Voila! Female and timid. Doesn't look like coincidence anymore. I'm going to change this SID and see what pops up afterwards. :0
Thanks a bunch again!
