Blargh, okay :)

Why the two columns? I guess I never understood the difference between Frame and Actual Frame.
Well, I still don't. What is it? Gimme the technical terms if you have to, I'm curious.

I kept failing with every happiness tap that was over 100 taps. When it was down to 6 I got it. -_-

I can't believe you guys do this for free. Damn you rock.
 
i flipped my coin 5 times which matched and did 24 happiness taps

but my pokemon didnt come out shiny??

this is for shiny abuse egg breeding i used the shinyfinder program

edit: do i have to find a spread that has 10 flips?

You need to do all 10 flips to check your seed then do the double taps and coin flips.

shinyfinder only says 5 flips??
edit: ahh i kno why i did it wrong i was supposed to do 5 flips last damn got try hitting my delay again

after i verify my seed and do the happiness taps what does it mean by 5 flips does the 5 flips have to match the seed or not??

oh so i did everything right?

because 1st i tapped a as fast as i can to try hitting my delay then i flipped the coins 5 times and it matched what it was saying then moved the app to happiness thing and tapped 24 times which it told me to do

i counted it and im pretty sure it was right then i moved back to flip app

So far as I know, you have to TAP and THEN do the coin flip.
And your poketch app has to be number #5. Then you go one up to #6, do the taps and go to the #15 to do the flips.

And first you have to get on the right seed, save in the grass with 5 pokes in the party, sweet scent and see if you're ACTUALLY in the seed you're looking for.
After the game generate the shiny egg, then you can go find for nice IV spreads (remember to save the game before :P)

If it's the hitting the delay one, it says to do 10 flips to check your seed then do the ones left to advance your frame. Notice how it says "Please not that number of flips and taps are listed assume that you will also be doing 10 flips to verify your initial seed.

I think there is where you went wrong.

nothing to do with rng reporter

im using shinyfinder it says have 6 pokemon do flips 1st i didnt do the flip sequence so thats where i think i stuffed up i want to know whats it mean by 5 flips then??

can those 5 flips be random after my happiness taps

It's not wrong, it's the first page method. RNG Reporter already has a shinyfinder inbuted. Just go to 'DPPt Time Finder' and in 'DPPt Shiny Egg', you find one nature with ability/gender that you want, then you just have to hit the date, time and delay. Bam, your egg will be shiny (Got a Shiny Adamant Trapinch for 3 taps and 6 flips with this method, I was actually aiming for a 37 taps Naughty, but what the hell, 3 taps is too easy.).
You should try it.

this is so confusing now

the rng reporter for shiny egg doesnt say how much flips just the flip sequence and still says same taps lol and finds same results whats the difference i think im just gonna do what that post says

just someone tell me what the hell does it mean by 5 flips

i know now that it has to match the flip sequence but once i bring it back to flip app what do i do just random 5 flips???

8. Immediately on entering the game world, verify your seed by flipping the coin 10 times, No more, No less. It is important you do the flips as it is part of advancing the IRNG to the correct position. If the flips match the sequence displayed in the "Flip Sequence" column for your chosen target, you succeeded in hitting your second and delay. If not, reset the DS and go back to step 7. If you have version 1.1, see the end of this post for information on using the new "Seed Range" feature to determine what seed you actually hit to help you ajdust your timing.

9. Having hit the target, look at the "Taps" column entry for your target row. If it is -1, do nothing and go to the next step, otherwise move the Poketch to the Happiness Checker (#6) application, then double-tap an empty area on the screen to make the Pokemon jump the specified number of times (this is also described in the original post). If the specified number is 0, just go to the next step without tapping; opening the application was all you had to do here.

10. Move back to the Coin Flip (#15) application. If you are playing Diamond or Pearl and you overshoot #15, you can go back around as long as you page quickly past the Happiness Checker so that only the blank screen with a number is displayed. DO NOT allow it to open or you will have to start again from step 7. Once back at Coin Flip, flip the coin the number of times displayed in the "Flips" column for your target row.

11. The IRNG should now be in the correct position. Deposit the parents into daycare (if they are not already). Remember not to use an everstone. Any PC interaction or flying will not mess up the process, just don't flip the coin again or open the Happiness Checker.

im pretty sure when it says once back at coin flip i flip it 5 times if my target second and delay was right etc then i do 5 random flips from my target row
 
i just tried again doing everything right

my flips matched to the flip sequence i then did the happiness taps which was 24 then i put it back onto the coin flip app and flipped it 5 times and then saved and picked the egg up to see if it was shiny and it wasnt

why isnt this working
 
Do you already have parents in the daycare?

How did you find out your SID, did someone get it for you, or did you deduce it yourself from chained/caught shinies?

nope i put them in daycare when it says

i got someone to check my sid maybe he didnt check it right??
 
Well, it's possible that the person gave you the wrong SID...but it's more likely you're messing up somewhere.

When I do shiny eggs, I don't use the taps in the Shiny Egg finder. Instead, I take the seed and place it in the main window, change the method to DPPt Breeding (Normal), and then find the shiny spread there and use those taps/flips instead.

so use it from rng reporter the same results come up on rng reporter it just shows it without how much flips

edit: can someone check my sid to see if the number this guy gave me was right

Shinyfinder and the Shiny Egg tab in RNG reporter are the same thing. Take the seed of your shiny egg, and put it into the seed (hex) box in the main window and then find the frame your shiny egg is on...you will get different taps/flips to the ones in Shinyfinder/Shiny egg tab. Use these. I don't know what else to suggest........
