No and RNGing doesn't too.
Calibration is a process which is out of date.
Now seeing that the average delays and seconds are now common knowledge it is out of date, but when you just begin it isn't completely unhelpful.
I personally think that when you begin finding out your average delay and whether it is odd or even, 13, 14 or 15 seconds to get in game, is quite helpful.
After you're used to RNG you just need Pikatimer as you know the rest and should have no trouble.
