Movepool changes

Zygarde still has superior bulk, Coil, Extreme Speed, and Thousand Arrows to its name, while 10% has the same Attack and better Speed. If anything, Flygon is the one facing competition, though it'll still be better if it hits a lower tier.

Actually Zygarde can't learn Extreme Speed in gen 7.

Also is anyone else annoyed they gave Snorlax and Golurk High Horse Power, but not Rapidash or Zebstrika?

the zygarde cube allows it to teach Dragon Dance, Extreme Speed to zygarde

i dont know why its not just part of their movepools anymore but whatever
Yeah, before I learned that I was pretty upset, because it was ruining my planned Zygarde-Complete strategy.

Then I learned that Zygarde-Complete is borderline pointless, and I was upset yet again.

Calling Zygarde-Complete pointless is a bit overdramatic.

It's underwhelming as all hell, but as a "hidden ability" for Zygarde, Power Construct is a serious buff. You're taking a bulky mon and giving it an ability that gives it a sizable heal, an increased max HP stat, and a sizable jump in Leftovers recovery, once it gets under 50%. That's pretty cool! Definitely beats Aura Break, which is functionally worthless.

Right here.

"Lot of new defensive opportunities for Arcanine in Burn Up. 130 BP move that removes fire weaks/resists/STAB after."

He just says that it removes "fire weaks/resists/STAB", nowhere does he say that they become typeless. Since Normal and Fire don't share anything, it's pretty normal that after the move it's that way.

Do we know what Toxic thread does?
It's Poisonous Stringshot: -1 Speed and Poison.

That doesn't say it becomes typeless at all, though. He's just saying that Burn Up removes Fire weaknesses, resistances, and STAB, which is certainly still true if Arcanine becomes a Normal-type after using it.
....Ok, oops. The answer is actually...we don't know. Normal is a strong possibility, but the move needs to be tested.

Also, in an odd bit of non-change, Bellsprout still gets Leech Life through breeding, but it and its Evos aren't compatible with the TM. I though we stopped that nonsense from happening back in Gen 5.

EDIT: I noticed no one mentioned it, so I might as well throw it out there.

Every Starter Line now has Work Up, as do many others who didn't get it previously (due to its lack of TM status in Gen 6). Those would be the Bunnelby line, the Flecthling line, the Skiddo line, the Espurr line, and Hawlucha.

Another EDIT: Jynx, Articuno, Delibird, Regice, Glaceon, Froslass, and Cryogonal get Aurora Veil.

Kind of ridiculous that Amaura / Aurorus don't get Aurora Veil. It's right there in the name! And it's not like they didn't want to give a Pokemon the ability to set up Aurora Veil automatically with Snow Warning, considering Alolan Vulpix and Ninetales get Aurora Veil. And unless they revert auto-weather abilities to lasting throughout the battle, I don't think Aurora Veil will be a big enough boost to the Pokemon that get it. The only viable users of it IMO are Vulpix and Ninetales, due to Snow Warning.

This is now an accurate description to SD Bidoof in LC.

No mentions to Will-o-Wisp Froslass? It can finally cripple her switch-ins :')

Fun fact, Froslass is now the only Ice type that learns a Fire attack. Kinda makes me mad they didn´t give Alolan Ninetales at least Will-O-Wisp. Also none of the new ghosts except Alola Marowak and the legendaries learn Will-O-Wisp...

EDIT: Okay, I got it now, Froslass is NOT the only Ice type that learns a Fire type attack.

Rotom-Frost is an Ice type that learns Will-o-wisp as well.

Holy shit, wait, Bellossom gets quiver dance now? Under the sun and after one QD boost it out speeds base 100 scarfs, and that's with a modest nature not a speed boosting one. It gets Moon blast through Oddish too and one shots all relevant dragons with it after 1 QD and life orb (Dragonite would need stealth Rock support for the OHKO).

It's probably not going to cause any tier shifts but I'll have fun messing around with one of my favorite Pokemon now at least, haha.

Can someone help? I cant find anywhere all the old moves and abilities buffs and nerfs.
I couldn't find old ability changes either. Would like to confirm if weak armor gives +2 speed now like some people have said. Defiant gives +2 now so it seems believable but it'd like to confirm.

They're here (taken from the mine resource thread).
Search for "Text File : 97", these are the ability descriptions. I went through em all and the only thing that I didn't see mentioned yet was that normalize now boosts the power of affected moves, most other changes were already spotted.

Also, Defiant has always given +2. And yes, weak armor "sharply raises speed" now, so probably +2, yes.

And btw, Text File : 112 is the move's descriptions. Haven't bothered checking them all since there's so many...

I am very excited for Bibarel's buffs. I already have a Simple Bibarel I bred (and leveled to Lv. 100), so I'm all set for the Beaver God's reign of terror.
