Moves Pokémon Should/n't have.

Gastly learning elemental punches seems wrong. It doesn't have arms or legs. Just a floating ball. with gas around it.
 
Seconding the Ice Body Regice.

I believe Move Tutors for Flare Blitz, Ice Fang, Nasty Plot, Baton Pass, Rapid Spin and such should be on D/P remake, for a lot of pokémon to abuse them. Not only that, but a Ability Tutor, who could change the trait for the other the pokémon can get, like giving that marvelous Clefable you have Magic Guard, ditching Cute Charm. But this for the price of a Tinymushroom. If you give him/her a Big Mushroom, he/she would give to your pokémon an "alternative" trait (obviously, the pokémon and the traits they can have ae set in stone by Game Freak), like Unaware to Slowbro, Magic Guard to Gardevoir, Intimidate and Water Absorb to Empoleon, Levitate to Magnezone, Solid Rock for Regirock and anyone who gets Sturdy (except Skarmory), Reckless to Deoxys-S (only if they change Life Orb to activate Reckless), and on and on and on...

2 pokes completely screwed by movesets, i mean come on...why do 2 525 BST pokes have such a bad moveset

glaceon needs a better moveset too....it pretty much learns solely ice

i still don't get teh water pokes with flamethrower/thunderbolt, ice beam is understandable, but the other 2...

why does salamence learn fly naturally....

snorlax with slack off would be nice...taking back the second best special wall position (cause nothing will beat out blissey)

there's a bunch of other stuff but don't wanna list


here's another, why are exploud's base stats so low for being a third form on an evo chain, besides HP, he has nothing over 95....

We'd have endless possibilities if we could change our traits! I would love almost any ability aside from the usual Blaze, Torrent, and Overgrow :D

Venasaur: Power Whip (WTF? The one thing other than Tangela that has whips and doesn't get this move. What... the... fuck...?)

Aerodactyl: Brave Bird / Head Smash / U-Turn please.

Primeape: Outrage (Me Primeape. Me ANGRY!)

Snorlax: Slack Off (can't touch this Blissey)

Hypno: Wish / Slack Off / Recover (And not from this NYPC shit either)

Dragonite: Extremespeed (I want this back. >=/...)

Crobat: Hypnosis / Nasty Plot / Zen Headbutt / Brave Bird / Pursuit / etc. to be legal on one freaking bird!'

Ditto: Acid Armor (lol?)

Vileplume / Bellossom: Seed Bomb

Mamoswine: Endeavor (immune to Sandstorm AND Hail, why not?)

Electivire: Volt Tackle (well, it seems like the type of Pokemon that would)

Some WTF ones:

Gastly: Learns all elemental punches through breeding. Explain how he punches?

Vileplume: Drain Punch (wtf? Still, Swords Dance / Drain Punch / Return / Razor Leaf sounds... okay)

Because after he evolves from Shelgon... he... learns to fly. It says so in his Pokedex entry. There are other Pokemon that learn HMs naturally, eg Goldeen/Waterfall

Actually, when R/S first came out, I drew up some evolutions for those two, and I gave them those moves. I named the evolutions Eclipstone and Novarock.

You might be interested to know that there's some TM's that aren't learned naturally. I made a list one time and there was about 7 TM's that NO pokemon learned without using said TM. Stealth Rock was one, and I believe Overheat surprisingly enough was another. Less pokemon probably learn HM's naturally because they're re-useable.

Anyway, Cut on Zangoose is a big "wtf?!". I remember actually withdrawing a Zangoose once with the intention of using it as a Cut slave only to find out it couldn't learn it. Also, why does Rhydon learn Surf...? I mean, shouldn't it...sink?
 
I dont know why, but I have always felt Swampert should have been able to learn Thunderpunch/Firepunch through the emerald tutors; think of the possibilities o_o

Trapinch + Gust...it's an Ant Lion...how does it cause a tornado? x_X
Togepi and Pichu + Nasty Plot. That infers that the poke is plotting something nasty...Togepi and Pichu don't do that.

Anyways...Snorlax should learn Slack Off....he IS the laziest pokemon.
Bronzong + Heal Bell. HE'S A BELL! >_>
Giratina + Roost...If he can Fly...he can Roost >_<
Flareon and Entei + Flare Blitz. This one has beaten to dust. (:

On topic: Aerial Ace's widespread-ness scares me sometimes. Mewtwo can do it. Regigigas can do it. Dialga and Palkia can do it!
 
Havent u noticed that Blissey doesn't have Will-o-Wisp? I know that Blissey has a defense of only 10 base? Wouldn't it be nice if Blissey got WoW to put an end to physical sweepers. Of course Heracross would see it as a free switchin, but Garchomp and Electivire will think twice before switching in?

No, mongoose should not be able to "cut" anything. Or slash, or scratch. Zangoose in general is a big WTF?

Has anyone seen a mongoose in real life before? I live in Hawaii so we have them like rats. News flash:
-They don't have any claws worth scrathing anything with
-They have a long weasel like body
-They have attack prey with a ridiculously strong bight
-They are insanely fast

Mongoose are known for being fast, which is how they kill snakes. Zangoose is slow, uses claws that real mongoose don't have, doesn't bite, and just looks funny. It's just a big WTF to anyone who's seen the actual animal it's "based" off of. Considering how popular Cobra-Mongoose fighting still is in Okinowa (aka, inside Japan) I can't believe how much Gamefreak managed to screw this up.

Zangoose should've looked . . . like a mongoose . . . had like 110+ speed, and learn extreme speed and crunch. That'd have made some sense to me. *roll eyes*
 
Okay, this is starting to get out of hand. Stop talking about tutors for dumb moves like Fire Fang and Volt Tackle for everyone; VT's a signature move and STAB Fangs are outclassed by Return. Got it?.

I meant cool stuff, like Bronzong (which isn't bronze!) Heal Bell, since it is a bell.

And NO, not everything defensive needs a recovery move. Shuckle can easily afford two turn Rest, it's fucking Shuckle. If you're smart and not letting your wall be set-up fodder, Rest works great.

Gastly doesn't "punch", it evolves into something with arms.

NOOOOOO. No. No. No. No. No. Seriously, Flare Blitz is practically a signature move, Ice Fang blows dick, Nasty Plot is intentionally restricted (or else it'd be a TM like SD is and Blissey would be uber due to it), Baton Pass's restraints hold it back from world team domination, and Rapid Spin on everything would make an entire strategy fall apart faster than, say, Choice Scarf Dugtrio. No, faster than Pursuit against Mr. Mime.

Guys, Nintendo didn't give everybody everything. Perhaps for a REASON.
