Naruto (Spoilers ITT)

Never saw Durarara, Elfen Lied barely finished at all due to its short length, and Lelouch is super dead according to the creators. Not that Naruto is anything like those shows at all. Eureka 7 is the only anime off the top of my head with an ending that, and that's probably why I don't look back too fondly at it.
 
Well how about his then; the recent anime adaptation for Shingeki no Kyojin did the exact same thing. I mean it ended with the colosssal titan peering through a hole in the walls. Yes, AoT will likely get a second season but not for a very long time, since the content that the anime hasn't covered just isn't enough yet to create another season, so if they did so it would be similiar to the direction the original FMA anime went; Off on it's own story. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, in fact I greatly enjoyed FMA, however, WIT Studio has made great attempts to keep the AoT anime as close to the original manga as possible. They could've very easily decided to end the first season in some other way, but they instead decided to end it the way they did for the purpose of creating speculation among the fans.

I imagine a way Kishimoto could do something similiar is to have the final chapter of the series revolve around Naruto finally getting a serious date with Sakura, only to have Hinata ask him out or somthing on his way to said date.
 
Leaks of info and screenshots for Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Revolution are popping up. Here is a good site that keeps up to date.

100+ characters? Holy moly. My only worry is that since the story is starting over from the beginning, a lot of the characters might just be pre-time skip randoms that no one cares about.
 
So, when did Hashirama get impaled by those chakra receivers/blades again? I'm confused as it looks like he was imobilized somewhere? I saw a panel in one of the last 2 chapters where he had them, but not in the others, kinda confusing...

Still, Madara's gonna have to run through 7 tailed beasts, 2 jinchuriki, 4 living kage, 4 undead kage, 1 descendant, and the rest of the ninja world. Even that is a bit of a tall order despite the augmented body while remaining alive.

Man, stupid plot. Now we will never know if Ultimate MegaMetal Madara is stronger than the first. I still say hes weaker, cuz kishi.

He did use it about what feels like 100 chapters ago now, after his initial sword attacks on the shinobi division that was facing him, he used the one sea of trees jutsu and a plant that spored everyone with some genjutsu, which a Naruto clone clobbered with mass clones/rasengans. Then the 4 Kages took it from there and told the clone to go back to the original, who was tracking Tobi. Then the 4 Kages got their asses kicked by Madara. Think that's the gist of it.
 
Shinryu You're getting confused between "Senju", which is Hashirama/Tobirama/Tsunade's family, and "Senjutsu" which means Sage Chakra (Hashirama can use both).

Dead Madara, having gained Hashirama's cells, used Mokuton (wood element) jutsu, but he never used Sage techniques. The ability to use Mokuton jutsu is hereditary, so having Hashirama's cells and also knowing the hand seals for all of Hashirama's jutsu (because of the Sharingan), it's not surprising that Madara was able to unlock the Senju's Mokuton right away.

Sage techniques are different-- and the ability to become a sage and absorb natural energy is one that's learned through training; something that couldn't be copied just by seeing it with the Sharingan.

It was only in this most recent battle was it officially disclosed that Hashirama is a sage-- though how he has sage powers, no one knows, since he's the first character to not have gained the ability through training with Frogs/Snakes.

Anyway, through Naruto's training, Naruto's battle with pain (and one of the pains turning into a frog), and just seeing all the fucked up shit that happens to people trying to use Jugo's curse seal, we know Natural energy can be incredibly unstable and cause all sorts of shit.

That's why Madara was like, "Oh, so this is the fabled 'sage chakra'. Controlling this is supposed to be difficult? Eh, whatever."
 
Also, deo-ex-machina. Things are officially just fucked now. It was an interesting plot twist that Madara wouldn't have his eyes post-Rinne (though this of course makes perfect sense); but the rest of everything does not. How the f did he stop Sasuke's jutsu without the Rinnengan? How can an Uchiha be so f'ing ridiculous without any eyes at all?

we've known shodai had senjutsu powers since the flashback battle with madara. he used a jutsu that had "senjutsu:" as a prefix. I think his is probably based on drawing power from trees since he has plant powers
 
I knew we saw his sage markings in the flashback, but I didn't remember the prefix. Must not have been paying attention.

Still, I don't think absorbing, molding, and using Sage Chakra is a genetic inherent ability for the Senju, and we've never seen the Sharingan being able to copy an ability like that instantly (I'm sure the Sharingan would be immensely helpful in learning how to become a sage, but you'd still have to spend a significant time learning to do it). It shouldn't be surprising that Madara couldn't use sage techniques (until now I guess).

-No Mokuton users besides Hashirama have been able to use Senjutsu "just because" until now. Not, Obito, not Yamato, not Zetsu; and Zetsu also showed they can't handle absorbing nature energy and turn into trees if I'm recalling correctly. Being able to handle sage chakra isn't inherent for characters that can use Mokuton. The word "sage" also implies the need for intense training.

-The Sharingan can copy hand seals at amazing Speeds, but it's been shown to be limited by the types of chakra the user has access to. We know that the Sharingan can't copy techniques based on elements formed by Kekkai Genkai, but its copying ability is limited even for the 5 basic elements. For instance, Kakashi has never been shown to use or copy Wind Jutsu. It was also stated that Sasuke also had to learn the lightning release at great pain-staking lengths before activating Chidori. While the process of acquiring an elemental type is greatly sped up by the Sharingan, it's not instantaneous, and the Sharingan user can't copy a technique of an elemental type he doesn't have-- even if there's no genetic barrier. Sage techniques require even more intense and special training to acquire than an element type, so mastering the ability just by having seen it with the Sharingan should be impossible.

Even Madara has just sucked the Sage Chakra from Hashirama and found it easy to manipulate (because he's ridiculous)-- he still can't absorb natural energy on his own accord.
 
Technically Madara could absorb natural energy if he stayed still and knew (somehow) to mix it the right way so he won't turn into stone. But who the heck knows if he ever got any sage training or if he might've learned something about it while hanging around half alive. That's actually a bit of a curio, if he just sucked sage chakra from Hashirama, he should be turning to stone normally you'd think, like when the one Pain sucked it out of Naruto and was overwhelmed by it, so he turned to stone.

I would venture that Madara could copy senjutsu attacks if he sees them with the sharingan (after all it's been show that they can clone taijutsu moves by witnessing it), but the only one (that's been revealed) to us was him witnessing was Hashirama's giant buddah thing (which probably would expend a lot of chakra to use) and the giant sealing torii gates.

Taijutsu is just taijutsu-- it doesn't require sage chakra. Frog Kumite is only "sage" technique because it use's the sage mode's heightened chakra sensing and awareness in order to make ridiculous and reckless attacks that would be impossible without that predictive power.

Wait-- ridiculous and reckless taijutsu attacks that rely on predictive power... where have I heard that before? Oh right... The Chidori, which requires the Sharingan for Sasuke or Kakashi to use correctly. The Sharingan also grants heightened awareness and predictive powers-- so Uchiha could probably learn the Frog Kumite style without even becoming sages (unless there are a lot of movements in it that allow the enemy to go into your blind spot, since the Sharingan relies on vision, while Sage sensing powers do not).

Actually I always wondered what would happen if Naruto and Sasuke fought each other with just Taijutsu-- because Sharingan v. Sage Sensing would result in both sides being ultra sensitive to slight changes of movement of the other; so constant re-predicting and adjusting mid attacks might make for a really wacky looking fight.

Also, Sasuke wouldn't be able to catch Naruto with Genjutsu-- unlike Gai, Naruto's Sage form sensing means he isn't reliant on his eyes to use his Taijutsu, so the disadvantage of having to look at the enemy's feet to fight is irrelevant; Naruto could probably just as well fight with his eyes closed. Not to mention that now, even if he got caught, the Kyubi would just undo the genjutsu from within... so a straight fight between Taijutsu (and ninjutsu, though both use ninjutsu mostly just to augment their taijutsu) fight is likely-- and also likely to be highly unproductive. lol

Or, maybe the ridiculousness of Sharingan v. sage taijutsu fight might actually lead them into an all out ninjutsu battle like Hashirama v. Madara.
 
So...they could have just skipped straight to the last page where Zetsu hands Madara his right eye and that's basically the whole chapter >.>

Ok, Garra and Shukaku's attempt to seal him was kinda cool (making him bleed and seeping sand into him to pin him before making a sealing pyramid), even if he broke out of it with Susanoo. Which raises another question, wasn't Susanoo supposed to be tied to the sharingan as an eye technique? So how could Madara use his while temporarily blind again? Either way, with an eye back he can at least see and access some (more) sharingan and rinnengan jutsus I guess?

Fuck, if Madara could do all this crap, what was the point in having Akatsuki collect all the tailed beasts? Why have Obito manipulate Nagato at all?

Just use a time-delay Hypnosis Jutsu on Nagato to force him to use the Rinne Tensei to revive Madara after Madara dies. Even fucking Sasori, a Puppet user, could do this-- there's no way in hell Madara and his Infinite Mangekyo Sharingan couldn't do the same. Nagato was a little brat when he first got the Rinnengan (assumedly from Zetsu or Madara)-- he'd be totally helpless to fight a Jutsu from the legendary Madara.

Just set up a time-delayed Hypnosis Jutsu that would trigger after Madara dies-- make some kind of cue that Zetsu could easily trigger. Or Madara could even kill himself. As long as he revives with the Rinne Tensei young again with his Rinnengan, he's basically unstoppable right? Especially since Hashirama would be dead (Hashirama was long dead when Madara did all this stuff after all).

Orochimaru or no, Madara had already infused Senju cells into his body, and could continue to experiment. If he's this ridiculously strong, the only limiting factor on him is old age (not enough time)-- and if that can be fixed with Rinne Tensei (as demonstrated in the series...) then what the fuck does any of the rest matter?

As long as Madara is revived young, has his eyes (easy enough with a hypnotized and weak/young Nagato keeping them), capturing the Bijuu and kicking the crap out of everyone would be a child's play (based on how fucking Broken Kishi's made him).

Hell you don't even need to use a hypnosis Jutsu.

Ultimate Madara Plan:
-Rinnengan Pedophile Madara finds a small Uzumaki or Senju child (or an Uchiha child if he infests him with Senju cells as he did with Obito)
-Gives child his eyes
-kills himself
-immediately has Black Zetsu take over small child's body
-Rinne Tensei
-Rule the world because no one can fucking stop you anyway

In fact, I'm sure Madara could have achieved everything way easier doing it all himself covertly than fighting an open war. Why the hell would he be at all worried about the military defenses of villages when he's already shown he could take on the whole damn shinobi world in open warfare? For someone who can do that, covertly stealing all the tailed beasts would be ridiculously easy.

Kishi is srsly fucking this up in terms of logic-- but I guess who the fuck cares at this point. Anything to keep the fanboys payin' up.

Even in a world where giant talking demon slugs exist, i still find it ridiculous how eye transplant works in this series. That imo is pushing it a litlle too far for me. And uh fuck i got nothing else after that rant above.
 
Madara's plan isn't to take control of the world by force. His plan is to use the moon to hypnotize them into being all peaceful and happy. Just because "no one can stop him" doesn't mean he should literally go against all of his ideals. Also "no one can stop him" is entirely laughable because lol it's a fucking shounen. You trying to say that he's going to win this fight? You're seriously suggesting he already has it in the bag?

As for the rest of that bullshit you forgot one key thing about the edo tensei... it revives you at the point at which you died. You say "as long as you're revived young!" but you don't have that option UNLESS you died young. And we even watched Hashirama kill Madara at the age he was revived at. But then you say "BUT VALK WHAT ABOUT OLD MAN MADARA THAT HAD SENJU CELLS, EXPLAIN THAT IF HE WAS DEAD". And that's precisely the point. I don't know and you don't know how the fuck that inconsistency is going to be explained, and it very well could be that the reason he made all these seemingly illogical decisions to you is precisely because of this one thing.

So let's take a chill pill on ranting about decisions that make no sense when nothing about the person makes sense yet. Wait for all the context, THEN analyze those decisions.

(I could say the same to your rants on Trafalgar Law's plan in OP too chou, but sadly there aren't any other readily available explanations there)
