Its either Rockets lose by 30+ or win by around 15. The way they play just dosent seem like it has any type of in between.

Orlando is a toss up that I will give to them.

dam celtics are a disapointment they hardly beat the bulls and now they are in game 7 against d. howard i think the celtics are Gonna lose and then the cavs are takin the championship this year

I don't think the Cavs have as much experience as Lakers to win it all, but Lakers have been inconsistent in this Rockets series =| I'd still say Lakers > Houston, then > Denver, and Cavs > Boston and Orlando. I'm rooting for a Lakers/Cavs final, or at the very least a Nuggets/Cavs final.

God. Despite the commentary by the...commentators (is that a word?) in the Rockets vs. Lakers game, I thought the Rockets the ones up by 20 the whole first half. I was seriously thinking, "Uhhm, what in the world are Lakers doing, losing by twenty at home?"

I was really distressed because I definitely would like to see the Lakers go all the way to the finals this year. I don't really care if they win, but I like Kobe.

Patrick Chewing made the right pick!!!

Pierce was a huge disappointment. What made him think he wouldn't have to work hard against a devoted Magic team? Hedo definitely didn't try hard to shoot when Pierce was incredibly weak.

Oh and Celtics fans, shove Marbury out of your town. That fool can't play anymore. He was shaky and horrible the entire time. And trust me, he is still as selfish and inconsiderate for the team as ever, especially when he cannot keep up with Big Baby Davis, who I consider a definite team player.

As for Orlando, Lebron should run right through him. I mean, there will be games when Dwight will pull off amazing stunts to keep them in the series, but it will be Lebron's show from here on out.

Now im happy the Celtics are knocked out, but we do need to remember that they are extremely short handed. Their wafer thin front court behind Perk and GD dont really help things, and besides House there isnt really any bench offense. Im from NY, so screw Marbury as you said. I think you guys should have been the ones to pick up Drew Gooden, his game would have helped you guys more.

All in all good game..

Predictions:
Denver in 7
Its a battle of the front lines which I think Nene>Bynum at this point and Birdman can knock around Gasol. Who the hell knows what Lamar will bring besides D on Mello? Kobe does his thing and CB rips up Fish.

Cleveland in 6
Superman can take care of Clevelands front line no without alot of hassel, its containing Lebron and keeping Hedo consistent that will be the question.

I have the Lakers over the Cavs. You are correct about the Celtics thin frontcourt, but I never ragged on them since they worked extremely hard the last two series. Brian Scalabrine became a name to remember somewhat, so all the forwards each stepped up incredibly.

But when you have one of the greatest closers in the game, as well as someone who proves to -never- give up on a game let alone take it in his own hands, there is literally no excuse to lose a game 7 with Paul Pierce on your team. He did not try. I did not see any passion in his game this time around until he was about to burst into tears the last few minutes of the game. What happened to the hunger I got to see in last year's finals when they came back from such a large deficit? He did it in LA in a quarter long. Pierce today was what? 4-13 with 7-10 at the line at home against Turkoglu and Pietrus.

And the problem with Drew Gooden is that all he really does is score and rebound. There's a reason why Lebron got really pissed off at him at times when he was in Cleveland, and he never stepped up as a significant role player in San Antonio. He was not that consistent.

nuggets in 6 and magic could definitely fluke out a series win against cavs...no rhyme or reason to how magic consistently beat good teams...but that was in reg season so w/e

The LeBrons will destroy the Magic in five. Have to credit Howard and Turkoglu with one surprise win in Orlando, but they've no chance to take the series.

As for the West... Los Angeles has a serious weakness against quick teams that can run the pick and roll and shoot the mid-range jumper. Oh, I just described Denver. Nuggets in 6.

Damn Lakers...

Oh well, predictions for the next round:

Nuggets > Lakers: Nuggets are well-rested, which I think could be a deciding factor given that the Nuggets are also pretty damn talented. Plus, I hate the Lakers.

Cavaliers > Magic: LeBron and co are very well rested, unlike the Magic, who just came off a grueling series against the Celtics (who I am happy they knocked off).

Its very true that Drew Gooden dosent play D and is a black hole(never passes).

Im sure the Nuggets wont disappoint with a bad series, and we wont know how Orlando will be until after the first game.

I doubt the nuggets will beat the lakers. They swept the nuggests last season without bynum and although bill is good, he won't make a game-changing impact. I'm hoping for magics over cavs but it would be nice for lebron to finally get a ring.
