What was wrong with no Kidd? Barea scored 12 of 16 points with two misses being tipped in by Dampier for the other 4 at some late in the game point (to repeat what I read elsewhere). I liked Kidd hauling ass at the end, but Barea was impressive.

Howard's problems are very disheartening. I doubt it will happen, but a 4-0 or 4-1 victory to let him rest up would be great.

Barea was very nice, but what I meant was that the Mavs picked us apart with their bench. And that dude Brandon Bass is really good now a days too. If we keep letting Howard choose his spots like we have then im sure knocking us off wont be a problem. That crusty ass tree that they call Bonner really is garbage. So much so that he dosent even deserve 2 ns in his name.

Atlanta washed the Heat badly, Wade did his bitching, but I guess when you have the 2nd option O'Neal it dosent work as well. He still is great though.
 
Just realized I never bothered posting predictions...so here they are, already into Game 3? lol:

Cavaliers > Pistons: Cleveland is one of the best teams going into the playoffs, and with LeBron, should be an easy sweep.

Bulls > Celtics: Just cause I don't like the Celtics. And I like rooting for the underdog in this case. Upsets can be nice.

Magic > 76ers: Eh, I like the Magic more.

Hawks > Heat: Eh, toss up lol, who cares? Either team is likely going down next round, though admittedly, Wade makes things fun.

Jazz > Lakers: I hate Lakers, go burn in hell or something.

Hornets > Nuggets: The Hornets are a much more solid team I think than the Nuggets, who only have what, Carmelo Anthony?

Mavericks > Spurs: Who gives a shit, I want both to lose!!! Though I guess I still hate the Spurs a bit more, and if Mavericks win somehow, they're easy pickings for the other teams.

Blazers > Rockets: Yes, I hate Texas teams. But I also like how much Portland has improved over the years.
 
It was a nice win last night, but going into Dallas is gonna be a problem. Steal one and im happy.

Ray Allen is back, nuff said. Bulls played great though, I think they can sweep in Chicago too.

Shinryu, what did the Texas teams do to you? *EDIT* Your from Arizona, I see.
 
Even then, why Houston? I can understand why Phoenix would hate Dallas or SA, but it's not like you ever played us when the stakes were high. I will admit, I'm not exactly a fan of Phoenix as I do not like run and gun teams at all, but I guess I don't hate them.

Looking at things right now. Honestly I will say the Lakers win it all. Bynum back is just....oh god. The way they beat Utah the other night was just scary.
 
I'm frankly not too concerned about losing Game 2 as Brandon Roy will not score 41 a night, and we're heading back to Houston. But GODDAMN YOU Oden, I want your head on a pike for what happened to Deke. What a terrible way to end a long and brilliant career.

Mainly favorites, hey, it worked when I was picking ones for the NFL playoffs, lol.
 
mm magic beat sixers and it looks like the heat will beat the hawks. I love that flying hawk and the reaction on the referees face :)
 
Spurs chances are over it seems. A combination of ONLY 2 offensive weapons, ABSOLUTELY no bench, NO roleplayer help, and of course the kicker, no GINOBILI sealed our 09' fates.

Im sitting here in NY surrounded by Maverick fans(yay Knicks!) and even theyre sympathetic. I just want to win in San An and you guys close this one out. It was good though, really it was. This season was too up and down to expect much in the post season.
 
We already had more game winners in these playoffs than we have in all of last years.
 
I'm liking the Mavericks kicking Spurs butt, Mavericks should be an easy KO next round too for whoever they face (yes, I hate Texas teams, w/e).
 
Eo Ut Mortus has sore ears, because I was like YEAAAAA when the Bulls just tied it up in OT
