Oh yeah, here's something I've been wondering... why do the announcers call him "Glen Big Baby Davis" every time his name is mentioned? I can see it as a nickname but they say it every single time.

Because they have to act like things are more exciting than they are..duh?

Rajon Rondo: 19 assists with 0 turnovers in three overtimes. He has more than arrived.

My roommate and I were discussing the fact that if you put "Big Baby" over his real name, it makes any give sentence more entertaining. "Big Baby on Salmons!" "Big Baby does it again!" So, probably, that.

Though Big Baby has a nickname, he's pretty crappy at playing if you ask me.
Rondo was amazing yesterday, if only he didn't screw up that last second fadeaway.

Game 7 is something I'm going to record for sure, is it in Boston or Chicago btw?

Boston TD North Garden

Actually, Glen Davis was called "Big Baby" even before that incident.

Yeah, that went back to his childhood if I recall. I remember watching him at LSU were they told the story (he was a beast at LSU with Ty Thomas, remember they upset JJ Redick and Duke that year)

Celtics and Bulls game was intense. Only problem with the game? It overlapped the entire first half of the Rockets and Blazers game. That pissed me off a bit but the game was pretty damn good regardless.

Garnett is rumored to be playing Game 7. He's apparently been going and shooting with the Celtics as of lately and apparently from what I've heard, could play game 7.

i see the finals as mavericks vs the cavaliers and the cavaliers will win

Personally if the Bulls beat the Celtics tommorrow, I want the Bulls to win the NBA finals.

If the Celtics beat the bulls tommorrow in home court, then I want the Celtics to win the NBA finals.

But if both teams eventually lose, then I want the Nuggets to win.

You cant just go and lose after a game with overtime, a couple of normal games, a game with 2 overtimes, then a game with three over times, and lose.

ha i can imagine it would of pissed off wayyy more people if they decided to play the rockets/blazers game instead. I see houston pushing LA to 6 or 7, but ultimately losing. Rondo got so lucky not getting suspended for game 7, which puts our chances much higher since i originally thought he would be suspended.

This is what i think will happen

Round 1

lakers vs jazz = lakers
HOUSTON vs Trail Blazer = Houston
Nuggets Vs Hornets = nuggets
Mavericks vs Spurs = mavericks

Cavaliers vs piston = cavaliers
Heats vs Hawks = Hawks
Bulls vs Boston = Boston
Magics Vs 76ers = magic

second round

Lakers vs Houston = lakers game 5
Mavericks vs Nuggets = Nuggets game 7

Cavaliers vs Hawks = cavaliers game 5
Boston vs Magic = magic Because no garnet game 5 pretty much Howard's house

Round 3

Lakers Vs nuggets = nuggets at game 7

Cavaliers vs magic = cavaliers sweep by cav

Finals

Nuggets Vs cavaliers = Cavaliers AT game 7

Eh I don't think the Nuggets will beat the Lakers. The only team capable of stopping the Lakers is....the Magic. The Magic won 2 of 2 games vs LAL this year. Cavaliers? LOL. Lakers beat them 105-88 in LA and beat them 101-91 in Cleveland on a day that Kobe was sick.

As for Cavs vs Magic I do think the Cavs would win that but they won't sweep. It will be close as all of the Cavs-Magic games have been this year.

My picks from now on out.....

Rockets vs Lakers- Lakers in 5 maybe 6.
Mavericks vs Nuggets- Nuggets in 6.

(Hawks vs Heat)
Hawks vs Cavaliers

(Bulls vs Celtics)
Magic vs Celtics- Even without Garnett this will be close. Magic in 7.

Nuggets vs Lakers- Six games.

Magic vs Cavaliers- Hard to pick. Could go either way. 7 games for sure imo.

Lakers vs Cavaliers- 6 games. Maybe even 5. Honestly Lakers are just too good. Odom on the bench is insane......

naa man the teams in playoff that will beat the lakers

mav or nuggets is over for the lakers man and they will not beat the cavaliers the cavaliers are just on fire and will take it all the way

Lol!

Dude, Nuggets don't have a chance to beat the Lakers man, don't BS yourself.

Cavs and Lakers are the expected final players.

I want Lakers vs Celtics more than anything else as well. Lakers vs Magic would be pretty interesting though and yeah man you're on drugs.

If you think the Mavericks can beat the Lakers then you're on crack. The Lakers dominated them in every game during the regular season.

Dude, I'm pretty sure everybody here would agree that Cleveland is definetely going to the Finals. The real question is who's going to the finals to lose against them.

I don't think that the Cavaliers will make it to the Finals. They certainly have the best record overall, but don't forget that they have a losing record against the top teams, specifically the Magic. When you consider the Cavs had to rally in the 4th quarter in Cleveland against the Magic to win during the regular season, I don't think it's outrageous at all to think that there will be a game or two when their rallying doesn't work against Orlando. On the other hand, the Lakers, who are the only team to have beaten LeBron and friends in Cleveland, have dominated the Western Conference, and are almost assuredly heading to the Finals.

The Cavs can definitely win the championship, I don't think that's the likely case at all.

edit: The way Big Baby has been playing, I think the Celtics would be worse off if KG plays today, lol.
