NCAA March Madness Thread

One of my friends wondered why I was having trouble picking between USC and K-State, but now he knows!
I shouldnt have put USC past the second round in my bracket, but at least this isn't in the other league that I am in where I am playing for money (In there, I picked USC to lose to Wisconsin in the second round).

Wow K-State beat USC. I had the Trojans going deep so my brackets are screwed.
My other picks for today were right though I was secretly hoping for Belmont to beat Duke (even though that would screw over my bracket a bit).

its odd seeing the BYU team because its a bunch of white dudes playing basketball with little to no blacks on the roster. Not that there is nothing wrong with that but its just odd seeing a basketball team without one black athlete.
oh and all I care about right now is watching the UNLV play since they're the only team I really care about since Im from Vegas. Go Runnin' Rebels!

Why does Duke always play down??
I picked them to win the whole thing, despite how much I actually believe it, but even though I've convinced myself it could happen, that one point win isn't surprising.
I definitely shouldn't have picked winthrop/baylor as my upsets, but that happens.
BYU also screwed me over, but it was a close [good? i didn't watch it] game.

I'm surprised Marquette won, I saw them play St John's in person a few weeks ago and I was not impressed. Oh well.
Picking against UNLV was dumb, they're a good team.
I had W Virgina > Arizona in my other bracket. ;x That was one of the few games I was tipsy about.
I'm glad I picked USC losing and Texas A&M winning.

That was just a wild ending, and in a way I really, absolutely believed it was impending, it was just one of those things. Two teams, either of which wins will probably be the darling of the tournament (Drake would be 'finally a legitimate MAC' whatever Western Kentucky will be the 12-5 winner and littlest team to win, maybe). Drake is up, then Western Kentucky is up, the Drake misses, misses the tip, misses a SECOND tip, then a foul and he coolly drains both free throws...and I just KNEW that Western Kentucky was making the three to win it. I am sad that Drake lost because they had the coolest name in the entire tournament. Drake is the name of some awesome dragon killer or something.
I laughed at the start of the Texas game. HOOK 'EM!
Butler versus Southern Alabama started really exciting and is presently in danger of turning into a blowout :(
