Below is the team at a glance:
--------------------------------------
I am not very good at building teams. I can say it with certainty. As you know, the basic of building a team is to focus on winning as its primary goal. While other battlers focus on this and build teams, I cannot. Though I do not know why, if I build a team around the Overused pokemon and try to use it, it fails horribly every time. The only teams I have had moderate success with are the ones with some penalties or strange themes attached to them, such as my mono-ice team, or the one with every pokemon donning Choice Band Explosion. This is yet another such strange team, and unlike some other attempts of mine, I would really like to improve it, and I need smogon's help. This time, the theme is to have absolutely no attack moves on any of the pokemon used.

--------------------------------------
Smeargle (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Own Tempo
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Destiny Bond
- Trick
- Spore
- Stealth Rock
This is a generic leading smeargle, using Trick to force a choice scarf onto an opposing pokemon, and perhaps put the switch-in to sleep. Stealth Rock is to be used next, as all passive damage is helpful for a team like this. Destiny Bond is there to take out a highly offensive pokemon, though admittedly it works a little less effectively with the 252 HP EVs included, but Destiny Bond is not Smeargle's only job.
Froslass (F) @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Snow Cloak
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spd
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Trick
- Taunt
- Spikes
- Destiny Bond
This Froslass is supposed to Trick and cripple another pokemon, and then put Spikes out in the opponent's field afterwards. It can Taunt pokemon before they Taunt Froslass, and Destiny Bond is there again to take out another pokemon, if possible.
Umbreon (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP/164 Spd/92 SDef
Careful nature (+SDef, -SAtk)
- Mean Look
- Baton Pass
- Wish
- Taunt
Umbreon is here to pass Mean Look to either Froslass for Spiking purposes, or to Jumpluff for it to start its stalling combo. Wish is there as team support, as the main idea of this team is to outlast my enemies. Taunt is generally filler, but it does help somewhat against pokemon trying to set up. However, it has not been very useful in my battles, and it would be great if my Umbreon could be improved to become a large asset to my team, or if necessary, replaced with a better pokemon.
Jumpluff (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Chlorophyll
EVs: 184 Def/252 Spd/72 SDef
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Encore
- Leech Seed
- Substitute
- Sleep Powder
Jumpluff's primary mission on this team is to stop potential sweepers. It has a few methods of doing so; if the pokemon isn't asleep already or crippled somehow, it can put it to sleep using Sleep Powder. Secondly, if it has a chance to, it can put a Substitute up and Leech Seed to death. Encore is there to cripple a pokemon that tries to set up or something. It has no HP EVs to maximize Leech Seed, according to Smogon's analysis.
Aerodactyl (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Pressure
EVs: 252 HP/4 Def/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Roar
- Whirlwind
- Sleep Talk
- Rest
When Spikes and Stealth Rock are up, Aerodactyl can use Sleep Talk while asleep to Roar or Whirlwind before my opponents can do anything, and thus emulating "attacking" this way. Rest is there because it seems like a bad idea to rely on an opponent's sleep move to do the job.
Tentacruel (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Liquid Ooze
EVs: 252 HP/252 Def/4 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Rest
- Toxic Spikes
- Confuse Ray
- Acupressure
Now, please, help me with this. Please believe me when I say that I am posting this team for it to be improved, and not to troll or mock the team raters. All criticism is welcome, including "this team sucks" as long as it has some reason attached to it.This is here to use Toxic Spikes for the most part. Acupressure and Confuse Ray were added recently to make it a true staller while Toxic Spikes eats away at the opposing pokemon. There is not much to say about this other than that. It uses Toxic Spikes. I have considered Attract over Confuse Ray due to its larger amount of PPs, but some people choose to make all their pokemon female to avoid Attract, so it might become a useless move against such an opponent.
Thank you for your help.
