Cynic- How Could I
The best song, IMO, off their Focus album. Sweet Chapman Stick intro, awesome guitar solo, orgasmic keyboard outro. It's a 50/50 mix of metal and jazz, check it out.

Kansas - Carry on Wayward Son

Saw a funny rendition on scrubs last night, kind of had to listen to it after seeing it done with a ukulele and an acapella group.

Yeah I saw that too... and was actually listening to it earlier...

I even changed the Lyrics to be about Plus...

Carry on my wayward Plus
There'll be peace when you're a bus
Lay your weary wheels to rest
Don't you drive no more

Endo Masaaki - Butterfly

Crawl Through Knives by In Flames

Not a metal fan. But In Flames is close enough to some of the stuff I like. They have a couple good songs, regardless how poppy they've gone. This is one of those songs in my opinion.

8.5/10

this is pretty much one of the best songs they ever did, which is weird because it's from their gay era (aka everything after Clayman)

Pain - Follow Me

Built to Spill - Trimmed and Burning

9/10

Another great song from these guys, although this album is not their best.

I love the bass in that song, RB Golabat.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus - Your Guardian Angel (Acoustic)

Sleep - Dopesmoker

If you ever think "man this song is so good they shouldn't end it in four minutes they should just keep playing it for a while" then this song is for you. Coming in at almost 64 minutes long, this is the slowest and longest song that I have ever listened to, and the second longest that I have ever heard of (the longest being aslsp but I don't know if that counts because a person can't actually play it because it's 639 years long).

The whole thing is just incredible, though the ending is pretty anticlimactic
