Genghis Tron - Ride the Steambolt

Short but sweet. Starts out insane, ends insane with some intense guitar riffs in between parts of the song, incomprehensible singing and nearly 2 minutes of madness. Of course, it's not all grinding hardcore shit; ambient parts can be heard in a couple parts, which make a surprisingly smooth transition from intense to soft. I still prefer Arms, though!

8/10

arms is my fave genghis tron song! chapels is the second

animal collective - peacebone

their new album is really, REALLY enjoyable. its quite different from feels, and im not that familiar with their other albums (only heard bits and pieces). overall, i really enjoy it, though i prefer his voice on feels.

8.5/10

Harmonic Generator - The Datsuns

My favorite song of this The Strokes-ish band. And this is quite a statement since the album is great.

The Simpsons - Dancin' Homer Medley

Heh, I have "The Sounds of Springfield" CD. I still have "Simpsons Sing the Blues" on cassette somewhere.

Jessica Bailiff - Mary

Really dreamy and lovely, her voice is soothing, and it goes well with the acoustic guitar and the ambient sounds. 7/10

The Appleseed Cast - Ice Heavy Branches

An average song off their weakest album. Not a bad album by far, but pales in comparison to what they followed it with, Peregrine.

6.5/10

Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up

lol, I forgot I had this on my computer. Anyway, this song isn't that bad, plus if you watch the video, the dancing is incredibly funny.

7/10 for the song, 10/10 for the dancing

Muse - Sober

Probably what lead me to listen to Muse in the first place, though many Muse fan feel neutral about this song, I really adore it, it's one of my favorite songs, off their first album Showbiz, I'm not really into Showbiz, but it's a decent album overall.

8.5/10

Photograph - Nickelback

Great Lyrics for people who have been changing places and friends , like me. Nice music , rock style and the voice is too cool

9.5/10

Breathe - Ben Kenney

Ben Kenney is the new bass player for Incubus, where new means he's played for them from the beginning of A Crow Left Of The Murder. Apparently he'd been in a lot of projects prior to Incubus, including his self-named group, Ben Kenney. Tbh, this is the only song on his album (title: 26) that I think is any good. The rest just lack thought and energy. However, this song is definitely worth a listen if you can get hold of it.

7/10 for the song, 10/10 for the dancing

rofl, look for the black guy jumping into (?) a fence.

Now Playing: Alexisonfire - Happiness By The Kilowatt

Do Make Say Think - The Universe!

A great instrumental post-rock band that I only just recently discovered. My currect favorite track from them is The Universe!, which has a sort of joyful and fast-paced guitar playing. I will most likely get into this band.

8.3/10

!!! - Muse Be The Moon

One of their finest songs from Myth Takes, I mean, I really can't describe this genre, but the rhythm is hugely addicting, the lyrics are awesome, and the instrumental is probably the result of their finest work ever. Highly recommending if you're trying new bands.

10/10

Genesis - Firth of Fifth

Yeah, Phil still on drums, Peter still on vocals and Hackett still ripping it on the guitar really makes me climax quite nicely. Plus I'm just in a huge Selling England by the Pound phase right now.

10/10 ezpz

chapels is good too

yeah man, strawberry jam is great. i agree though, his singing on feels was more refined, on SJ it feels like he just winged it. its still one of my favorite albums of all time though. every song on there i enjoy, even unsolved mysteries which is kinda boring!

Enigma - Silent Warrior

One of my few experiences with Enigma and I'm enjoying it, it's a great band to listen to and I like it because the instrumental, put together, kinda creates an ambiance, The Cross Of Changes is being pretty good and delivering so far.

9/10

Dream Theater - Constant Motion

I finally got around to buying Systematic Chaos the other day (finally). So far I'm really enjoying the CD - this is one of my favourite songs on it.

Enigma - Push The Limits

My first (on what I think it is) time listening to actual Electronica inserted on an Enigma song, it really gives a wicked effect. The lyrics in the form of whispers is also very appealing for Enigma.

7.5/10

All Fired Up - Interpol

Interesting song of Our Love to Admire, not the best song of the album, but it deserves a mention.

8/10

Aqueduct - Lying in the Bed I've Made

This is the only song I have from these guys, but the piano really drives this song.

8/10

Nine Inch Nails - La Mer

Speaking of piano....everybody should download this song! Haven't listened to it in so long but now remember why like it

Oh wow, that is such a great song. It's also such a perfect lead-in to The Great Below, when I saw them live on the Fragile tour they played them back-to-back and had an amazing video playing on the giant screen above the stage with some chick floating in water. Really eerie, I was wicked high at the time.

Enigma - Gravity Of Love

Great vocals, great lyrics, great rhythm, what's not to adore about this. I'm really into Enigma lately. The Screen Behind The Mirror is being my favorite album so far.
