Hm. Pinsir with SR, X-Scissor, Stone Edge, and EQ?
I would consider Close Combat simply because Bibarel leads cutting your HP in half is quite annoying, even if you do get SR up(since next time you switch in you will be at 25%, ouch).

Fixed. At least thats what ive been using. Close combat hits ice harder, and flying types are already hurt by stealth rock and pinsir shouldn't be staying in anyway, while close combat hits normals, and more importantly, allows you to do over 50% to like max/max bastiodon/aggron. But then your walled by drifblim, so watch out!Hm. Pinsir with SR, X-Scissor, Close Combat, and EQ?
The threat of a Stallrein is the reason by Tangrowth has Sunny Day.

Personally, I find weather, at least sand and hail, underwhelming. The fact that you have to resort to Snover and Hippopotas already cripples your team, and you only have 5 team slots to make up for it. Sure, Walrein can set up his cycle of hail stall, but hail stall is just a little harder to pull off in NU then it was in UU. There are less good spikers and spinners, and even rapid spin blockers. The only Pokemon that worry me when I see a hail/sand team are Walrein and Cradily respectively. Otherwise, its still possible to power through them.
Yeah, Toxic Spikes is like the SR of NU.
I dont think so, there are many poison type pokemon @ nu.
I find TS more threatening @ OU than NU (if you got at least 2 ghost to block spin)
Are you kidding? Not to be rude, but a lot of pokemon hate Toxic Spikes in NU(Tangrowth, Leafeon, Bibarel, Regice, etc), while in OU, plenty of things are immune/can switch out to get rid of it. Zapdos, Scizor, Heatran, Flygon, Blissey, Celebi, Zapdos, Salamence, Scizor, there are so many.
The point is @ NU you have many pokemon that can absorb them, while in ou you have pokemon that can switch @ TS, BUT if you switch them to another pokemon (for example you switch to flygon and your oponent switch to walrein) you've to switch to another pokemon and that pokemon will get poison'd, that doesn't happen at all in NU
As said above, only two decent Pokemon can absorb TS - Qwilfish, and Venemoth. And they generally set up TS, they don't generally get used to absorb them.
