NU Index and Reservation Thread

uhh... sorry to burst your bubble there, but shouldn't Delcatty be a joke mon? It doesn't have a single base stat over 70 and castform is a joke mon but has better stats.

On the topic of joke pokemon:

Ariados (Ledian is there!)
Liepard is bad
Unfezant (see above)

may merit addition to the list.
 
Delcatty gets Normalize Thunder Wave which is a fairly cool (but shitty niche).
Ariados gets a bunch of priority and can set up Toxic Spikes which is cool.
Liepard gets some really nice support moves and can outspeed a majority of the tier.
Unfezant has decent stats all around and gets some cool movepool options.

"Joke" designation is for Pokemon that no matter what will not work at all.

Since I'm posting anyway, I might as well say that Rotom-S is now up for grabs again due to November Blue talking to me about it and deciding he didn't have enough experience with the mon to write the analysis. Please note that this is a one time exception, if you sign up for a mon, make damn sure you can write the analysis or ask QC people for help. At least one of us is on #neverused at any given time, and you can always PM us on the forums for advice.

Now, since this is a special case, I'd ask that anyone wanting to work on Rotom-S please post here, then PM me with a rough skeleton (I'm looking for what sets you're going to put in, complete with evs and moveset). From there I'll give whoever I choose the OP of the original Rotom-S thread and we'll go from there.

SuperJOCKE, November Blue will be allowed to reserve a different mon of his/her choosing.

Castform gets Weather Ball and can do semi-decently vs. hail teams with fire blast and blizzard resists at the same time. Good rain/sun setter I guess?

iirc Ledian is a very good counter to Exeggutor, of all things; it has high SpD, Early Bird, and OHKoes it with no investment bug buzz. also a shitty baton passer.

should they be lifted as well then?
 
After speaking to tennisace, I'm giving Rotom-S to Zebraiken.

Castform is completely outclassed by at least 3-4 other mons in setting up weather, it has nothing else going for it besides Weather Ball. Ledian is an extremely niche "counter" to one specific Pokemon. Those are jokes. I'll admit its pretty subjective but why does it matter what I call/don't call a joke? The Pokemon you listed in the first post have something going for them that other Pokemon don't.

Demist, if I understand correctly, you can reserve two more if all three have passed QC, but those will be your last until January.
 
But start with one, then, when it's finished (3 checks), you can reserve two more.
