Nuzlocke Challenge

First time using paint, and first time drawing since...english class, freshman year, high school. Not my first nuzlocke challenge, but this is the farthest I've gotten and everything's not dead yet. So be nice. Flaming hurts, yo. And I am a SENSITIVE PERSON.

But really, if this is any good so far, let me know. I've got a lot of other strips written out if the response is favorable. Suggestions are awesome.

In case you can't tell, this is pretty much summarizing three of my previous playthroughs. Bonus points if you can tell what died by what move.

Grovile by a Karate Chop from Machop, most likely Brawlys.

Marshtomp by a Razor Leaf from a Tropius, most likely Winonas.

You're not being clear on Combusken, but the Altaria means Winona got off either Dragonbreath or (Most likely) EQ on you.

2 years later
The wind blew fierce against the ever looming mountain, whipping a piece of newspaper with the headline, "Where is he now?" The picture was of a boy around the age of 14, with all his life ahead of him, who had suddenly vanished. "His mom reports that she's not worried about him, but wishes he would get in contact soon." I smiled, mom had been true to her word, and not told them everything she knew. Of course, she isn't my real mom, but she is close enough. I look around at my team, all looking as scruffy as I does, but just as imbued with the sense of power. I remembered everything that had led to this decision.
First came the news that Ian had been thrashed, and all of his pokemon killed. This was a major shock to me, since I figured that the E4 would've known to hold back; however, I soon discovered something that disgusted me. "In a recent interview with the loser, Ian, he says, 'I could care less about my team. They were weak, and deserved what they got. I'll start over, this time training them correctly, with stern discipline.'" I could not believe what I read, but it made sense. Ian had been getting more and more power hungy as time went on, and it finally took him. I was determined to beat him one last time, but the E4 came first. I would search him out later.
I knew, however, that the E4 was beyond me at that point, so I went training, promising myself I would do it the right way, and train them with love and trust. Steadily they grew, and we grew. I am now sixteen, yes, this is the present tense now. All of my pokemon are ready to go, Pokemon league... here I come!

The Elite vs the Light

I have Scorch fly me into Indigo Plateau(spl) and steel myself for the fights. I walk to the store on the far end, and tell him I want ten Full Restores, which I had decided to limit myself to that, and what I had amassed over my travels. I was rather surprised when he just continued staring at me, but laughing I fealt around my square chin. I fealt more bristly than I could've imagined, but that didn't matter to me. "10 Full Restores, come on," I said and then burst into laughter. "No I'm not insane," I replied to his unspoken question, "I just haven't been around a razor in a while." He handed me the Full Restores and laughed a little. With that episode behind me I put JackieChan into the lead and walked confidently into the inner building.

Loriele

I am promptly met with a pretty girl who ruins all of her looks with a monstrous pair of glasses. She welcomes me to the Elite 4, and gets right into the battle

JackieChan vs Dewgong

I was laughing, Jackie was laughing. heck, even Scorch, from inside his pokeball, was laughing. "Brick Break Jackie!" Dewgong's eyes performed the characteristic X_X, and was called back to his pokeball.

--- vs Slowbro

now this is a much worse match-up, but I had predicted it, so Lazybum get's his time in the spotlight

Lazybum vs ---
She orders slowbro to forget that he was doing... not very prudent if you ask me. Lazybum fires off one of his intense shadow balls and knock the thing around, but didn't finnish it surprisingly. For some strange reason, she again told the slowbro to forget everything, and Lazybum finnished the job with no damage.

--- vs Cloyster

Cloyster enjoys a stout deffense, so I know that he'll take a blow are two to take out entirely. I have Snorlax body slam while the cloyster summons hail from who knows where. Seriously, there's no way these clouds were here earlier. I can't tell how much damage the Body slam did, since there was no flinching from the cloyster, but the look on loriele's face says that it was something powerful. I body slam again, and the cloyster still stands, and throws out some spikes. Those will get anoyying. I'm confident, having studied the E4, that she will now use a Full Restore on the Cloyster, giving me a free switch.

JackiChan vs ---(100%)

Jackie pulls off another brick break, extracting obvious looks of pain from the Cloyster, who then resummons the hail clouds. I had hardly noticed them disapearing until the thing brought them back. I pulled Snorlax out the shield me from the hail and continued battling with Jackie. The cloyster pulls off two succesive Protects, but finally succumbs to a Karate Chop from Jackie, who looks rather pleased at the acomplishment.

--- vs Jynx

Jynx huh. I haven't seen one of these before, but the Pokedex says Ice/Phsycic, which easily loses against Fire, so I send Scorch out to deal with the pest, who decides the best way out is to infatuate my Charizard

Scorch vs ---

Scorch remains loyal to me, however, and roasts the jynx. Loriele's on her last pokemon now, and victory is in my grasp!

--- vs Lapras

But I'm not stupid enough to leave Scorch in against that, so I'll send Feelix(renamed Heelio since I liked Feelix better. Feelix is an Omastar) in to take the attack

Feelix vs ---

OH crap. Spikes plus Surf did a number on Feelix, and I doubt he could take another one of those. Snorlax, take point!

Lazybum vs ---

Snorlax takes the surf much better, and attempts to dish out a powerful body slam, but the Lapras beats him to it and confuses him. After a few back and forth hits and misses(including paralysis hax for me), Lazybum sucessfuly beats the Lapras.

One down, three to go

Bruno

I heal my weakenned pokemon and put Victoria in the lead position. Time to take on Bruno, the fighter. Bruno is a simple man, and gets right into the battle

Victoria vs Onix

It's Victoria's turn to laugh, and without even waiting for my command she sends her powerful razor leaf attack towards the Onix. he didn't have a chance

--- vs Hitmonchan

Hitmonchan. I remember these guys being able to use ice punch, so I bet that's what's gonna happen here. Scorch! you're up!

Scorch vs ---
I now nearly fait from a heart attack, as I find, not a first of ice as I expected, but the startlingly familiar Rock Tomb attack flying my way. I brace myself, and so does Charizard, and he takes it rather well(40%!!!). Surprised, but elated, I tell Charizard to finnish this buisness. One wing attack later, and now I'm up against a different fighter

--- vs Machamp

Like the idiot I sometimes turn out to be, I leave charizard in thinking Wing Attack will KO. It turns out that both Charizard AND Machamp, thank goodness, fail to KO each other. But Machamp is sitting pretty at about a third of his health, and Scorch has a few HP only. I don't want to risk not going first again with the rock tombs slowing Scorch down, so I send in JackieChan, who was paying enough attention to dodge the incoming boulders of a third rock tomb attack.

JackieChan vs ---

Jackie knows he goes first, and deals with the machamp in due fashion, with one of his more fluent Karate Chops that I've seen.

--- vs Hitmonlee

Hitmonlee poses no threat, and I decide to send in Dracula, but as I look up to call him back, Jackie looks at me and may as well have said "I'm not stopping here," so I let him continue the battle. Brick break smashes the Hitmonlee's Mega Kick off course, and 'lee looks real beat up. While Bruno's using his Full Restore, Jackie takes the time to plant two well aimed Karate Chops; finnishing off the Hitmonlee before it can get back into the action.

--- vs Onix

At this point I know I've won, and order Jackie to Brick Break. It doesn't OKOH, however, and the ground starts shaking, doing some mild damage to Jackie. I have him Karate Chop, while Bruno uses another full restore, and then Brick Break for the KO.
Two down, two to go. I heal up and head into Agatha's room

Agatha

Agatha started off by saying that she and the Prof were old rivals, and she believed that he had gone soft and taken me with him. I simply scoffed and sent out Lazybum

Lazybum vs Gengar

Apparently Agatha has never heard of snorlax, and attempts to toxic me. She fails, of course, and Shadow Ball clears off one Gengar.

--- vs Golbat

Golbat doesn't worry me. Air cutter does measly damage and Body Slam paralyzes the bat. Agatha doesn't want it to there, so she heals Golbat. Snorlax takes the oportunity to Shadow Ball. Then Agatha gets an idea, and tells Golbat to confuse Ray. Snorlax smacks himself twice in a row, while Golbat has a lapse in concentration and misses with the Air Cutter attack. One more Air cutter hit, and Body Slam finnishes the bat off.

--- vs Arbok

Now I don't find the snake particularly scary, but apparently the other pokemon do, so I switch to Dracula and back, Arbok screeching at both. He screeches again as Snorlax body slams the first time, and Smashes snorlax with a Sludge Bomb. Snorlax survives, however crippled, and body slams the snake to death.

--- vs Gengar

I would usualy handle Gengars just fine, but I decide that the low deffense needs to be fixed, so I switch back and forth from Victoria. The outcome of which is a sludge bombed Victrebell and a sleeping snorlax. Sleeptalk gives me rest, and the Gengar knows nightmare. This battle is turning into a nightmare. I switch Lazybum out and send back in Victrebell, sleep powder the Gengar, and then make a nearly fatal mistake. I use the pokeflute...
For some reason I had believed that it would only work on my pokemon, but the Gengar woke up as well and used Sludge bomb. 1 HP!!!! I hastily switch out.

Dracula vs ---

the Gengar used sludge bomb, but it was measly damage and easily shrugged off. I proceed to use the same stratagy that Agatha had employed, and confuseray the Gengar. a couple of wing attacks later, and the ghost is just a memory.

--- vs Haunter

Scorch vs ---

I decided to switch, because I had remembered this thing knowing Phsycic, but I didn't need to worry about that. I needed to worry about Hypnosis. Oh well, the Pokeflute can do no harm this time. He gives Scorch an intense glare, which I interpreted as the move mean look. I didn't much care, since this was Agatha's last pokemon and Scorch could handle it quite well. In fact, one Flamethrower later and it's three down, one to go. I heal up my pokemon from that near fatal battle, and look at the team. I had nearly lost both Lazybum and Victoria in the same fight. One which I had been confident that Snorlax could've won in his sleep. I remembered not to underestimate these guys. After all, there's a reason they are the "Elite" 4

Lance

Time for the last challenge. I expect Feelix to play a HUGE role in this one, so I make sure he's ready for it. I decide to lead with Victoria to get the sleeping jump on the Gyarados, and head into the battle

Victoria vs Gyarados

As I had desired, Victoria puts the gyarados to sleep, and two razor leafs later has the thing at around two fiths of his HP, according to my Pokedex anyway. I try cut to see if it'll knock him down enough for Razor leaf to score the KO, without making Lance heal the Gyarados. It does a little too much, however, and a turn later I have a full health Gyarados on my hands. I rinse and repeat the whole process and eventualy beat the gyarados. no damage taken.

--- vs Aerodactyl

Hmm. he goes prehistoric, why shouldn't I?

Feelix vs ---

I order Feelix to ice beam, though I realize that Surf would've done more, and would've made the difference between the KO and the missed KO. Aerodactyl fires off two Ancient powers and then falls. Onmastar has taken about 40% damage

--- vs Dragonair

ice beam

--- vs Dragonair

ice beam

--- vs Dragonite

ice beam... VICTORY!!! I rush up and hug Feelix, something very out of character for me, and putting Lance in a rather akward position. "I realize you have won the Elite 4 challenge, but I wouldn't get too cocky yet. You still have the champion to beat."
My head snapped up, I had not heard that the E4 had a champion. Lance explained that the Champion was kept secret until someone was able to chalenge him. I knew who the champion was before Lance told me, but that didn't stop schock from showing on my face when Ian's name was said.
"I've got a very important question Lance. VERY IMPORTANT. How did he treat his pokemon?"
Lance tugged his colar a little, "I'm sure he'd beat come attack me if he heard this, but he's downright mean to them. He could care less whether they're poisoned, fainted, paralyzed, or anything. He just wants victory."
I shoved Lance aside and charged down the hall. I was gonna knock some sense into my rival, once and for all.

Ian...

"IAN!!" I blared as a ran into the room. He looked as cool as ever, " Finally showed up did you? I was expecting you ages ago, though I guess you figured you would be no match for me. I've got some news for you. You've been training wrong. Pokemon are tools, not partners. They are stronger if you force them to be. they..."
"You're wrong Ian, and I'll prove it. RIGHT HERE... RIGHT NOW!!!"

Feelix vs Pidgeot

The old matchup. I suppose that Ian replaced all of his dead pokemon, so I expect the same team. I was still as little hot at the beginning of the match, so I have Feelix fire off a Ice beam, not even thinking of the possibility of not KOing. As it turns out, Feelix didn't KO that turn, but three turns later he finnished the job

--- vs Rhydon

"Good grief Ian, have you gone insane? You KNOW Feelix is a water type." Ian mad me even more mad with his simple reply, "I'm telling my pokemon to fight. If it can't hold its own then it deserves to die." There was no way the Rhodon could've, and a single surf sent it back to its pokemon, with promisses of retribution from Ian.

--- vs Exeguttor

"I'm not crazy enough to leave my pokemon in the way of such obvious harm, unlike you Ian."

Scorch vs ---

The giga drain did laughable damage, and I know I've won the battle, and I think I can see the little characteristics of Ian that tell me he knows as well. "We both know I've won this thing Ian. Call off your pokemon and we don't need to hurt them anymore." I was giving Ian one more shot, one more chance to take back what he had done, but he refused. Flamethrower from Scorch finnished the Exeguttor.

--- vs Blastoise

Victoria vs ---

The hydro pump did rediculously low damage, but I could see the look of aprehension on Victoria's face. She wasn't sure how well she would do, so I had her use sleep powder first, ensuring a couple of free turns to work with. I didn't need to worry though, because after hearing Ian's following remark of how useless the Blastoise was, she too got angry, VERY angry, angry enough to deal easily twice as much damage as she would've normaly, and down went the Blastoise.

--- vs Alakazam

I began to feel sorry for Ian's pokemon. After all the torture they had been through, they were my only way of exacting punishment to Ian. As I switched to Snorlax, I made sure he realized that he only needed to get Alakazam out of the battle, not any more.

Lazybum vs ---

One shadow ball was all it took, and the Physcic attack did very little to Snorlax.

--- vs Aracanine

"Time to end this," I said, and I launched out Feelix to take the flamethrower and finnish the fight. Ian's reign as Pokemon champ had come to an end, and his punnishment had been exacted.

The aftermath

"Josh!" I turned around to see Professor Oak walking in. "That last battle was marvelous! I taped it with my Pokedex, yes the pokedexes can do that, and sent it to your mother. She'll be very glad to see you after all these years." I laughed at the exclamation. "I think I'll take a shave and a shower before I go back though." Then the Professor's attention turned to Ian, and he had no look of delight. "Ian... I would've supported you, since you were my grandson, but the way you've been treating your pokemon is absolutely unforgiveable. I will take those you have, and you will have to start over, this time the true way. Love and trust."
Ian hugn his head while Professor Oak led me to the back room and put my pokemon into the Hall Of Fame. I was very proud of what we had acomplished. I remembered the fallen, my poor caterpie, but I knew that she had not left the team in vain, and that we had climbed the tallest mountain.
"Joshua." I gasped as I heard my real name come from the professor's mouth. "Yes, I know who you are. I summoned you here for two reasons. one, because I needed help with my grandson, which you have amply provided, and two, because I needed help stopping team Rocket. You have helped with both, and I can send you back now. Would you like to go?

...

...
...
...
...
...
I looked around, and thought long and hard about it. "No time has passed in your land of course," Oak continued. "You'll be put right back from where you were taken." I continued to think, "There are too many unanswered question for me to quit now Professor. I'd like to know what's become of my virtual dad before I leave.
"Very well Josh. I would suggest looking around the sevii islands, because that's where I last heard from him

Epilogue chapter 1: the long awaited evolution.

I wake up, glad to be back in the comfort of Pallet Town. I head outside and talk to Professor Oak, who hands me the National Dex. He gives another one to a VERY subdued Ian, who pulls me over afterward and mumbles, "Light... you were right, and I was wrong. Grampa has forgiven me, now I want you to." I told him that, save if he falls back into his old habits, I was glad to forgive him. "The hardest part will be forgiving yourself Ian. I'll leave you to that."

I left the group and headed to one island, the land I had been hiding at for two years straight. I knew the land well, and quickly found my old training partners, who happily engaged me again. They had grown tremendously in strength, but still didn't match me. Soon enough, I saw what I had been longing to see for quite some time. Dracula was evolving!!! The briliant light seems much brighter than ever before, but that's probably because I haven't seen it in forever. When I looked up, the Purple bat had changed hue, and grown an extra set of wings! Dracula was now MUCH faster, and more powerful. I smiled as the my final member fit into the Fully Evolved catagory at last. Welcome Crobat!

Hall of Fame team

Feelix lv 61
dpmfa139.png

Hardy nature
Ice Beam/Surf/Rock Slide/Tickle

Feelix is all around awesomeness. Rather difficult to train though, as he had to be trained off of wild pokemon. I supose I could've found a better spot, but I got him there eventualy. He will always be remembered for his amazing take down of Lance

Scorch lv 65
dpmfa006.png

Docile Nature
Wing Attack/Flamethrower/Slash/Fly

Scorch has been with me since day one, and NEVER been useless. His powerful Flamethrower attack doesn't need to be SE to dish a KO, and since I've been giving him ATK Evs through training on One island(the group of fighters), his Wing Attack is very powerful as well.

Victoria lv 65
dpmfa071.png

Docile Nature
Razor Leaf/Giga Drain/Sleep Powder/Cut

Victoria is the only female of the group, and can hold her own just as well as any of the others. Her particular glory has been in being my number one answser to Ian's Blastoise, and her taking out the water gym early on.

Lazybum lv 61
dpmfa143.png

Naive nature
Body Slam/Shadow Ball/rest/Sleep Talk

Lazybum has been pretty much everything EXCEPT lazy. His potent combonation of durability and sheer power has made him invaluable. I was lucky to catch him quick though, because I was taking a HUGE risk when I set out for him. His shining moments were the Poison and Phsycic type gyms, as well as some serious Team Rocket whupin's.

JackieChan 60
dpmfa057.png

Hardy Nature
Strength/Rock Smash/Brick Break/Karate Chop

Jackie is my oldest team member after Charizard, and my most worked on. Caught at lv 4, he's made it down a LONG road to becoming the spittin' image of the fighter he was named after. Jackie was the second hardest to train, with no real good spot to train at. I used a few random campers at the base of Mount. Ember.

Dracula lv 65 NOW lv 66
dpmfa042.png
dpmfa169.png

Naive Nature
Wing Attack/Aerial Ace/Confuse Ray/Poison Fang

Dracula has been with me since MT. Moon, and I've never regreted the catch. His imunity to Poison and resistance to that type has been great, since Team Rocket often employs it. He was, by far, the easiest to train. Training right alongside Scorch, but with two high PP flying moves and less required EXP to lv up, he went by quickly.

-------------------------

Sorry it took me so long guys. Here's the second to last(at least I think it's second, may be third) instalment of my story. Had a long hiatus, and I won't be coming back to Smogon for some time. My final instalment will probably be posted by Fear the Pika, or Yellowfire7, two good friends of mine. I am subscribed to this thread, however, so I'll see any comments on the writing. Hope you've enjoyed it!

Recently completed a Platinum run, many friends lost, but it was fun. I'll give a run down of it, well of what I can remember. (I'm not the best with explaining things so sorry if it's boring in many parts :(). The other rules I used other than the main two were only allowing items in battle.

Started with Lonely natured Turtwig called LEAFIE (all my mons have IE on the end and are in capitals in this run). Then pretty soon after got a Brave natured Starly called BIRDIE in Route 202, who sadly got taken out by a crit Quick Attack from another Starly when it was only lv6. Soon after I got a Bold natured Wurmple called BUGGIE and grinded it and LEAFIE to lv10 and BUGGIE evolved into Beautifly then faced rival. Got nothing in that route as Abra got free. Then found a Careful natured Zubat called BATIE in Oreburgh Gate, a Quiet natured Machop called PUNCHIE in Route 207, and a Lax natured Geodude called ROCKIE in Oreburgh Mine. Trained all of them to lv12 and pretty easily defeated Roark.

Then went towards 2nd gym after battling Team Galactic and getting a Drifloon called BALLOONIE at Valley Windworks. In Eterna Forest, I found a Budew and Wurmple, but accidentally took out the Budew. Then found Budew again afterwards so got nothing before Eterna. Got a strong Jolly natured Meditite called MEDDIE in Route 211 and grinded my team to lv20 for Eterna gym where BATIE now a Golbat after the battles inside easily destroyed Gardenia. Before going to Galactic battle, I got a Gastly called SPOOKIE in the Old Chateau. I then faced Jupiter. ROCKIE the Geodude was OHKOed straight away by a crit Giga Drain or something like that from Zubat before it could Rock Slide. Then MEDDIE took it out and I switched to PUNCHIE the Machop for Skuntanky but PUNCHIE was taken out before LEAFIE finished Skuntank off.

I then went on with my Bike and found a Hardy natured Kricketune called CRICKIE in Route 206 before hoping for a Gible in the side entry but only finding a Geodude so nothing there. Went into Wayward Cave and was quickly weakened down in the battles. MEDDIE the Meditite was taken out in one of the battles as was SPOOKIE the Gastly. LEAFIE the Turtwig almost suffered the same fate against the Dragon Rage Gible, but survived with around 3 HP. Then went off towards the next gym only finding Pokemon I already had. Before the next gym, I got a Sassy natured Eevee and evolved it into a Vaporeon called DOGGIE. I was also lucky to find the Fossil in the underground and get a Rash natured Shieldon called GUARDIE. I then grinded BATIE, now a Crobat, LEAFIE the Grotle, and BALLOONIE now a Drifblim up to lv28 for the next gym, but DOGGIE the Vaporeon was taken out by a Rollout crit from a wild Bibarel while grinding, and GUARDIE the Shieldon also taken out. The 3rd gym was pretty simple with Curse Grotle setting up and taking out Duskull, but it was crit by the Mismagius so I had to switch to Crobat to 2HKO Mismagius and then OHKO the Gengar with Bite. BUGGIE the Beautifly was in the box by this time as it was pretty useless after 2nd gym.

I then found a Modest natured Bibarel in Route 209 who was to become my HM Slave and so was appropriately called SLAVEIE. I then went to Solaceon to get the Defog HM and found a pretty useless rash natured Unown called SHAPIE in the Ruins. I got nothing in the tower as found a Gastly, but got a rather awesome Jolly, Flash Fire Ponyta called BURNIE in Route 210 and also a Careful natured Magikarp with the Good Rod in Route 219 called SMASHIE. I grinded the Magikarp and Ponyta up to lv30 like LEAFIE, BALLOONIE, and BATIE were before moving on. The Impish natured Togepi from the egg called EGGIE was lost around this time (I forget how). I then moved on towards the fourth gym where it was a pretty simple sweep for BATIE with help from SMASHIE the Gyarados for Lucario. I also had a Torterra by this time so a strong team of Gyarados/Crobat/Torterra/Ponyta/Drifblim was sailing through. I then moved on again finding Pokemon I already had. I did get a Brave natured Porygon called ROBOTIE in Veilstone, and a Careful natured Shellos called Sluggie in Route 213 (this might have been later, can't remember routes).

I then got to the fifth gym area. Got a Timid natured Quagsire called SWAMPIE in the Great Marsh and challenged Wake. I was lucky that Ice Fang missed my Torterra from the Floatzel or I might have lost LEAFIE here (can't remember exact health, it may have survived). SMASHIE the Gyarados finished him off after like 3 DDs. I then went and levelled my mons up a bit more in the route afterwards and all seemed well with the team until BURNIE the Ponyta got crit and taken out :( (especially annoying as Ponyta was the one I really wanted for the Ice gym which I was now weak against).

Then moved on towards Celestic Town after taking out the Grunt sad at BURNIE's death, but still feeling my team was strong. However, in the double battle with the Ace Trainer's who had Raichu and Gyarados things didn't go so well as they teamed up on Drifblim (poor BALLOONIE the Drifblim :() and took it out with Thunderbolt from Raichu then Ice Fang from Gyarados. Torterra EQ'd and took out Raichu. I then brought in SMASHIE the Gyarados for the Intimidate on the Gyarados. Got one DD as Torterra took about half from Ice Fang and did a decent amount with Razor Leaf, then took out the Gyara with Ice Fang. In Celestic town the fight with Galactic boss wasn't too hard as Gyarados pretty much swept him. I then went to Fuego Ironworks and found a Jolly natured Magnemite called MAGGIE who I grinded up till I got a Magnezone. This now meant I had something to destroy the Ice gym when I eventually went there. Afterwards I went to Route 219 to train MAGGIE up a bit more so it was around the level 40 that my other three mons were. I found a Timid natured Girafarig in Route 221 called GIRAFARIE and went off towards the 6th gym. Found a Tentacool in that water route and just took it out as it was useless to me. Then went to Iron Island to get Strength HM and train up a bit. Found a Graveller so got nothing that route and easily went through. Then went to 6th gym and Torterra took out Magneton and Bastiodon then Steelix was taken out by Gyarados pretty easily.

After this went off to the Lake as told, all pretty easy as my team were good levels, like low 40s. Easily took out Galactic there and the other lake then went off towards the snow path area and the 7th gym. I got a very strong Adamant Sneasel called SLASHIE in Route 217 who was boxed for the meanwhile. By this time Magnezone had Flash Cannon so I pretty easily took out the 7th gym with Gyarados helping a bit. I then went off to the lake and then Veilstone where easily stormed through the hideout. I think Gyarados had Dragon Dance by now so it pretty much could take on most things in-game. After defeating Cyrus, I went towards Sky Pillar trying to keep my Pokemon at a decent level. The Galactic Grunts are all pretty easy, then I get to the double battle with my rival against the Galactic two. Magneton pretty easily takes them all on Discharge slowly weakening all of them, and then Gyarados coming in with Intimidate to take out Purugly and others when Magnezone was a bit weakened.

I then get healed and go towards Cyrus and into Distorted World. After getting a bit lost, I eventually managed to get to the Cyrus Battle with Gyarados pretty much single handily taking him out. After getting healed by Cynthia, Magnezone 3HKOs (with the help of a crit) Giratina-O while walling its attacks and so only taking like 20% per one. I then go on towards the 8th gym after talking to the Professor. I find a Relaxed natured Electabuzz called BUZZIE in Route 222 and get to Sunnyshore City. Now I decide to start getting my team stronger and giving them better moves so Torterra is given the Rock Polish TM and also Swords Dance from the Game Corner, Crobat given Steel Wing TM, Cross Poison from Move Tutor, and U-turn from Game Corner. I also decide to train up Sneasel mainly to help in the E4 so it's given Ice Punch via Shard Tutor, Swords Dance from Game Corner, and Brick Break TM. Magnezone is given Thunderbolt, Gyarados Earthquake. I then train them all up to lv50. SLASHIE the Sneasel was about 16 levels to 50 so took about of time but the other 4 were only about 3 levels to 50. The 8th gym was basically just Torterra Rock Polising then EQing every mon with me having to go back to Pokecentre a few times so I didn't run out of EQ's. Then against the 8th gym leader, Torterra SD'd (just to be safe) then Rock Polished and swept.

After this I get the Waterfall HM, teach it to Gyarados over Aqua Tail (screw misses) and head to Victory Road. Victory Road wasn't too hard, only a few doubles battles getting my mons health low and I got out towards the League and the inevitable rival battle after healing. This proved to be costly....

Started out Magnezone vs Staraptor, Magnezone surviving Close Combat with about 40 HP and taking out Staraptor. Next Infernape came in so I switched to Gyarados, DD'd only once and took it out with Waterfall because of a SpD drop meant I would be KOed if crit. Then Heracross was taken out by two Waterfalls with Gyarados now on low HP after Rock Slide. Snorlax, Floatzel, and Roserade now left with me having only three fully health mons, two weakened ones, and SLAVEIE. Next came Snorlax, I switched to Torterra, SD'd and took it out with Earthquake, but was left very weak by a few Body Slams. Floatzel came in next and I decided to completely forget it had Ice Fang, Full Restore up Torterra and then get taken out by a crit Ice Fang. R.I.P LEAFIE :(. I next went to Gyarados, Full Restored it and took out the Floatzel, Crunch Defense drops making me not DD. Last Roserade came in so I saced SLAVEIE to get a mon in for free and then brought BATIE in. BATIE then flew up, missed with Fly and was crit by Shadow Ball, but still had around 20 HP so all seemed well. I use Fly again, but it misses again....so BATIE dies and I bring in SLASHIE the SNEASEL to take out Roserade with Ice Punch. A rather costly fight.

Now all my mons are around level 53 so I'm clearly not ready yet for the E4. I now had no user of Fly so had to cycle and Surf back to Sunnyshore. I then decide that level 60 should be good enough to take on the E4 with SLASHIE the will be Weavile by then, SMASHIE the Gyarados, and MAGGIE the Magnezone. Then after quite a few hours of grinding, they're all level 60 and I have a Weavile from levelling up at night with the Razor Claw. I then go to the E4, annoyingly having to go through Victory Road again due to no Fly user.

At the E4, I lead with Gyarados against Aaron's Yanmega. It Double Teams' firts turn as I DD. I decide I need another DD so DD as it attacks. Considering I didn't want it to get anymore than that one Double Team, I Ice Fang and take it out. Next comes in Vespiquen, I DD as it uses Defend Order then OHKO it with Ice Fang. Then Scizor comes in who is taken out by Waterfall as is Heracross. Drapion is then OHKOed by Earthquake.

Next up was Bertha. I set up 4 DD's on Whiscash as it Zen Headbutt's me, Full Restore just so I'm full health then sweep her pretty easily with Waterfall for Whiscash, Hippowdon, and Golem, Ice Fang for Gliscor who I amazingly hit in the sand, and Earthquake for Rhyperior. Next up was Flint who I just DD'd once on Houndoom and swept with Waterfall and Earthquake.

I then went onto Lucian and change to Weavile lead considering the Mr.Mime has Thunderbolt. I SD as Mr. Mime Light Screens then SD again, get paralysed by Thunderbolt so Full Restore up and take it out with Faint Attack (I forgot to get Night Slash). Next up was Gallade where the first big close shave came. I Ice Punch expecting it to OHKO but it survives in low red, it's berry healing it a bit and it Stone Edges me. I think this is the end for Weavile, but it survives with 10 HP and takes out Gallade. Next comes in Bronzong so I switch to Gyarados as it Earthquakes. Then I Full Restore Weavile for the next battle, set up 2 or 3 DD's (can't remember), Full Restoring Gyarados at one point and take out Bronzong, Espeon (albeit after waiting a minute at the annoyance of having to take one out), and Alakazam.

Now it was time for the final battle against Cynthia. I go in with about three-quarters health Gyarados, full health Weavile, and full health Magnezone (other three being Electabuzz, Quagsire, and Kricketune who were just to get there). So I start out with Gyarados against Spiritomb, DD twice as it Dark Pulses then probably the biggest close shave as it Shadow Balls me as I DD again and I realise it's doing a lot more than usual, and it's getting very near to Gyarados being taken out, but a miracle and Gyarados survives with 5 HP. I then Full Restore as it Shadow Balls, DD Twice, and it gets a SpD drop so I don't go for the 6th, and then I take it out with Waterfall. Next Togekiss comes in and is OHKOed by Ice Fang (I have about 2 Waterfall PP, 3 Earthquake PP, and 10 Ice Fang PP by now). Then Garchomp who is Ice Fanged, Milotic Earthquaked, Lucario Earthquaked, and finally out comes Roserade. I now know I've completed it and take out Roserade with Earthquake.

(if there is anything else i missed PM me and I will add it)

"Wake up dear, today's the day" my mother trills as the curtains are thrown open. "Ugh" I groan and stumble out of the room. After a hot shower and a decent amount of time looking pretty I finally wander down to get something to eat. "I packed your poke gear for your darling" my mother tells me as I scarf down some toast. "Its a backpack I mumble as I grab it. My mother smiles knowingly and gives me a quick peck on the cheek as I walk out the door.

I open the door and see my friends Marril waddle up and do a dance for me. Lucky bastard is all I can think as Ethan collects his Marril while throwing me these wierd furtive glances as he walks off. I ignore this and throw open the door to Professor Elms lab. The room is dark and the only source of light is the computer screen at the back of the room. Elm is franticly clicking away at something on the screen. "Hello?" I call out. The professor gives a start before running to meet me. "Ah Kate I am so glad that you have arrived". "Whatever" I state in my trademark bored tone as I try and get a better look at the computer screen...
Elm blocks my view and tells me that he wants help with something, in return I get a pokemon to keep. I am busily tuneing him out until the computer bings and Elm rush's to the computer. "Hey I got an email" he exclaims in a tone of amazement, and I cannot help thinking that he has no social life if an email is cause for celebration, after all, my phone has been ringing non stop throughout this conversation and I don't start jumping for joy. Elm explains that he wants be so go to some randoms house and bring an 'item' back to him. I nod at all the right intervals while mumbling "yeah" and "thats right" and eventually he tells me to pick a pokemon. I walk over to the machine and pick a ball at random. There is a flash of light and out of it appears a green 4 legged dino-thing.

"Its a Chikorita" the professor exclaims happily.

Chikorita smiles happily at me and I smile back at it. I realise that its a girl and at that moment I realise thats thats exactually what I wanted. "Ill take it" I say as I cannot help thinking that all males (pokemon and human) will love me and chikorita, After all the whole point of this journey (according to me) is to increase the sise of my dating pool since New Bark Town is majorly lame. I name it "Ivy" and leave this creepy place.

Cherrygrove city awaits!.

As I leave my hometown with Ivy Elm shouts after me and runs out of his lab. Here is my phone number he says grabbing my phone and entering it before I can protest. Feeling somewhat uncomfortable I continue my exit out of the city leaving Elm breathing hard. Ivy and I quickly encounter a wild racoon which dies quickly to Ivy's Tackle.

Ivy proves its worth as I fight my way to Cherrygrove City. I try and make my way into the pokemon center there but am stopped by an old man. He toddles around giving me a tour of the city while plot the best my to ditch the old fart and move on. I am very close to resorting to measures such as shouting Rape to get him away from me until we stop by his house. "Thanks for keeping up with me" he says as I try and edge away. Its O.K he uncovincingly remarks me as he sees me move away slowly, "i'll give you my running shoes". I stop. I am always a sucker for expensive footware. The man see's my interest and remarks ' the are still warm". I show my disgust and he must realise how bad his lame attempt at humor as before giving me a brand new pair of Running shoes.
Thanking him I leave before he runns up again and hands me a Map Card and apologises for his behaviour.
On my way into Mr Pokemons House Ivy suddenly fires a bunch of leaves at the next Pidgey we face. Ivy had learned Razor Leaf. I am very happy that Ivy learned Razor Leaf but it looks 'dizzy' and exhausted so I hurry to Mr Pokemon's House (what a gay name).
I enter his house and almost run straight into some old guy called Professor Oak. I don't like the fact that all i have seen are old crusty men and are seriously considering my choice to becomming a pokemon queen until he hands me a Pokedex. 'Thanks" I stutter before he remark that I "think nothing of it" and leavs as to avoid being late for his pokemon show. By now it s very dark and Mr Pokemon offers to let my stay the night, after my reluctance I agree and take the oppontunity to give Ivy a break. As I leave to get back to New Bark Town Elm gives me a call. Convinced that this canot be good I answer and he tells me that one of the pokemon is stolen. I promise that I will arrive as soon as I can.

I heal up again in Cherrygrove before a Genga shows up with swagger in his step. "I challenge you" he tells me. Knowing argueing would be useless I send out Ivy while he sends out a Cyndaquil. He boasts that Cyndaquil has a type advantage over me but I am too busy eyeing up this sexy looking guy accross the road to care. Ivy use Poison Powder i say and a purple dust covers Cyndaquil. The genga screams in rage and Cyndaquil slams into Ivy knocking it over. Still somewhat distracted i order a Razor Leaf which blasts Cyndaquil back. Ivy dodges another Tackle before putting Cyndaquil out of its misery with a well aimed tackle.
"Ha Ha you lost" I exclaim rather tactlessly before grapping his Trainer Card. "Give it back" be screams. I see his name is Matt aka the Ginganinja which is printed on the card before Matt snatch's his card back before running away.

I shrug of the encounter, grab the cute guys phone number accross the street before heading home. I arrive at Elm's lab soemwhat tired but wondering what was going on. A police man grapps my shoulder and tells me " Crimminals always return to the scene of the crime, you are under arrest." Before I can point out his stupid and lame logic, Ethan claims that I was away doing a job for Professor Elm. I rely my battle with Matt and the policeman seems happy enough that he has a new suspect and tells us not to worry as i will find the suspect and bring him to justice. I privately think that this man cannot find his arse with both his hands but I keep quiet and say nothing.

After the police have gone I hand the egg to Elm, say goodbye to my mother and set off for Violet City. I catch a Pidgey along the way and call it Eagle (yes my nicknames are gay and somebody else has prob already used them but whatever). I enter Violet City and find a Mareep (yes I was suprised as well) which I called Zealand (New Zealand did not fit, you get the joke if you are Australian or New Zealander or even Bristish I think)

I train at the Sprout Tower and destroy the Old men there. At the top I find Matt having just beaten the Elder. He sees me and makes a quick escape but not before I mock him about his red hair. The elder is a breeze as Eagles Gust makes short work of it. I heal up and challenge the gym. A man standing just inside the door tells me that the guy is full of flying types and that Ivy will not be useful here. "No shit sherlock" I reply and leave him rather heartbroken over the fact his advice, (which he had no doubt waited ages to tell me) was useless. The two wimps guarding Falkner were simple and then my first battle against a gym leader begins.

Knowing that Ivy will lose against Falkner I instead use Zealand which gets blasted with sand from the Pidgey. Thundershock nails the bid though adn down it falls. Falkner gives and evil grin as he sends out a Pidgeotto. It slams into Zealand with a tackle taking off about half its health. I fire off the thundershock and it misses. Just then however Zealand's Static ability activates paralysing Pidgeotto. I am in with a chance and, knowing that Tackle may KO me leaving me with almost no chance of beating Falkner I order one last thundershock. Thundershock critically wounds Pidgeotto and it falls to the floor, having fainted. I hug Zealand as Falkner grudgingly hands over the Zephyr badge. I waver over asking him for his phone number before deciding that anyone who uses his dads pokemon is not worth my time so I leave. The moment I leave the gym I get another phone call from Elm agsin. He tells me to meet his assistant at the pokemart so after I heal up I go there. Inside the Mart the assistant tells me that it can only hatch in a trrainers party and that Elm stated that I was the perfect person to handle the egg. I am fuming, "THIS IS BULLSHIT" I yell, "YOU ONLY GAVE ME THE EGG BECAUSE I AM A WOMEN." The assistant fumbles nervously trying to find an excuse, but I am having none of it " YOU TELL ELM THAT HE IS A COMPLETE SEXIST AR- "you can keep the pokemon if you want" the assistant cuts in quickly. Still mad I glare at the assistant before snatching the egg and leaving.
I am still mad at Elm but its a free pokemon and I want to move on anyway. Its time to go to Azalea Town via the legendary Union Cave...

I make my way down route 32 beating trainers as I go. At the pokemon centre an old crusty fisherman gives me an old rod. Keen to try it I return to Violet City and tet it out there. I hook a magikarp which I promply kill with Ivy. Happy that my rod works I take it to the myistical Ruins of Alph. I hook a pokemon..... And its a poliwag!
I send out Zealand and tackles it. Polywag takes critical damage but puts me to sleep. i try a poke ball but no dice andf I only have 1 left. I tackle with Zealand hoping htat it wakes up...and it does so generating another critical hit and almost KOing the poor little frog. It barely survives and I throw another ball which captures it!
I name polywag "Bubbles" (im so origional) due to its bubbly personality and i enter the Union Cave.

I actually had fun in the cave as both Ivy and Zealand evolved and Bubbles got valuable experience as well. The cave was short and I exited the cave and carried on into Azalea Town. i was almost their until I saw a man in black standing in front of the slowpoke well. I ignored him and heal up once more, before asking for directions to Kurts house, who I heard made excellent pokeballs. His grand daughter opened the door for me but before I could ask for any special balls Kurt dashed out the door, claiming that Team Rocket had returned.
I could not let the old guy take on the might of Tema rocket alone.... and besides he had taken my phone with him. I had to get it back.
I chased the old man down the well and found him lying on the ground moaning. "I hurt my back" he complained to me. Serves you right I think as I snatch my phone back. Privatly I believe that he is faking as he thinks that Team Rocket are too strong for him but whatevetr. Anger fuels me at how such a pathetic organisation can even exist, therefore I decide to take on and defeat Team Rocket once and for all.

Quite frankly they were a joke as Bubbles and Zealand combined to wipe them all out. After Proton had gone Kurts back was better
(surprise surprise) and he draggs me back to his home to thank me. I take the offered Fast ball and enter the Azalea Town gym.
Eagle blew all the trainers away with his awesome power and in no time at all I faced off against Bugsy.

Bugsy smirked at me before sending out a Scyther which stared down Zealand. It gave an evil leer before Zealand zapped it with a Thunder Wave, paralysisng it. Zealand fired off a thundershick and gave a growl. Scyther gave a wicked smile as it slashed Zealand, before it vanished, being replaced by a Metapod. I quickly realised that I had just seen the move U-turn in action and I knew that had to tread carefully. Metapod was destroyed by Eagle before Syther again made its appearence. I used Gust as Syther focused its energy. I fired off another Gust but was hammered by a quick attacl, crippling Eagle as it was reduced to 12 health. I fired off a Quick attack as it was near dead before Scyther glowed as its health was fully restored. I realsied that I was in serious trouble as now It could smash right through my team since they were weak. I send out my newly caught sandshew (Bounce) to face off. Scyther slammed into Bounce killing it immediatly. I fell to my knees as Bounce lay lifeless on the gym floor. I fought back tears as I swore that I would destroy Scyther for this. Zealand came out and blasted off 2 thundershocks. When the smoke cleared Scyther was still standing and It U-turned again, killing Zealand in the process. This time i could not hold the tears back as my faithfull companion was struck down by a murderous scyther. Bugsy laughed, seeing my distress. "Real pokemon trainers are men, we are not weak like women are" he snarled before adding, "go back to the kitchen". I fought to control myself from lashing out at Bugsy. The battle was not yet over. I called out Eagle who was equally upset over his partner's death. He shrugged off Kakuna's Poison Stings before blasting it with a huge gust of wind which slammed Kakuna into the ground, leaving Scyther the only remaining pokemon left on Bugsy's team. Out came Scyther, with Zealands blood dripping from its blades. Eagle gave a scream as it saw the murderer. It picked up speed and slammed itself into Scyther and ending the battle. Suddenly Eagle glowed with light and energy. Pidgey was gone, the magestic Pidgeotto was in its place.

Bugsy was stunned. I took the oppotunity to punching him in the face and grapping the hive badge for his unconscious body. I carried out Zealand and Bounce as I burst into tears and just sat on the ground cradling then both in my arms. Kurt found me and together we buried them outside his house, next to the tree he had growing there. I felt destroyed inside. I had failed myself and my friends and for that i knew that I could never forgive myself. Guilt pierced through me like a sword as i felt such misery that I did not believe that I could ever be free of it.

Eventually, I decided that I had to move on. I still felt terriable for what I did, but I knew that Zealand and Bounce would have wanted me to go on and live my dream. part of my recovery was due to the egg hatching into a togepi. I named it 'Happy' because it was always happy and trying to cheer me up. Ironically I has not happy at the time. After much regret I bade them farewell as I ventured into Itex Forest.

Except I could not even enter Itex Forest. Matt had appeared and challenged me. After my last battle I was extremely reluctant, I could even see the graves from where I was standing, however, had no choice. I sent out Bubbles while matt countered with a Gastly. Not fearing it Bubbles put it to sleep with Hypnosis and then killed it with Water Gun. Matt then sent out Zubat and I send out Eagle. Eagle blasted it with a flurry of quick attack. Matt's Quilava suffering the same fate without landing a single attack. With the battle over I healed and finally entered Itex Forest.

Thats all for now folks, if you like it great, tell me and I will continue to write them, other wise you will get crappy summeries which are much quicker to write. If you don't like any part of it PM me and i will endever to take your oppinions into account when writting another part. If you do like it, send me a PM anyway and tell me.

Boss Fight Time!

Ok, on my team:
Saur the Ivysaur
Funky the Mankey
Butterkill the Butterfree
PinCushion the Beedrill
Ze Bat the Zubat
Aquila the Pidgeotto

In Box:
Purrfect the Meowth

Deceased:
R.I.P Snake the Ekans
R.I.P Diggit the Diglett

This is my team to take into the boss fight. I consider the Rock Tunnel a Boss Fight.

I didn't use Flash, so to explain my movements I used a map instead.

Map Part 1
Map Part 2
You can play Benny Hill music here for maximum effect.

The first trainer I found, was PokeManiac Ashton.
His Cubone was defeated by Funky and the Slowpoke was taken out by the deadly Butterkill.

I then caught a Machop (YAY!) and Called it Macho.

After hitting my face off many walls, I ran into PokeManiac Winston and his Slowpoke. Aquila spammed Sand Attacks and then finished it off with Gusts.

I next ran into Picnicker Marth with her ORDISH and Bulbasaur. They were bird-food for Aquila!

We met Hiker Allen and his lonesome Geodude. I retaliated with Funky. It was a long battle but Funky pulled through in the end.

Soon after we met Hiker Eric. He used a Machop and an Onix! He put up a good fight too!

Blindly up a ladder, we met Hiker Lenny and his army of Geodudes and Machop. What is it with Hikers and Geodudes and Caves?

A bit thurther through the cave, and Surprise Surprise! Yes, you guessed it! Another Hiker! Hiker Oliver was apparently lost. He had Two good Onixs and a Geodude.

Guess what? No clues, have a guess! Yes another Hiker, oh goodie! Hiker Lucas with a Geodude and a Graveler!! A new pokemon! But he fell like the other Hikers. Maybe I can catch a wild Hiker here...

We met another Picknicker! Sofia had normal pokemon for a change! Crikey that JigglyPuff is once tuff customer! It was weakened by Ze Bat and defeated by Funky. Her Pidgey was just beaten by Aquila. Meowth was taken out by the Mighty Butterkill.

Another Hiker. Hiker Duddly this time. His team was slaughtered by Saur's viscious attacks!

I then came up against PokeManiac Cooper and his slowpoke army. A Razor Leaf anyone?

Only a short strech left till light and sunshine. But a Trio of Picnickers were camped in the way, between me and freedom. A Big Mistake.

Picnicker Leah was up first. She had a Bellsprout and Clefairy. She sent out her Sprouts, I countered with Ze Bat! First Turn, Supersonic missed. Her Stun Spore didn't, unfortunatly. I did managed to confuse Sprouts on the second turn though. It used wrap but for the rest of the battle kept hitting itself
allowing Ze Bat to regain his health.

She sent out the Demon Spawn known as Clefairy. I sent out a happy PinCushion. After a Fury attack, Clefairy's Demon Charm kicked in. PinCushion did managed to fight the cuteness by using Cut but then it was put to sleep by a Demon Song, probably from the Clefairy.
With PinCushion sleeping on the job, I called upon ButterKill! Clefairy tried to put ButterKill under a sleeping spell but missed. Butterkill's Sleep Powder didn't though. With the Demon Clefairy banished back to Underworld, I continued onto Picnicker two.

Picnicker Ariana started off with a Pidgey. Aquila easily took it out to every meal of the day. She then sent out Cannon fodder... I mean Rattata. Funky practically ate it. Another Cannon Fodder. Another Meal.
She then sent out a Sprouts. I sent out Butterkill. Do flowers have blood?? Well they're definatly edable.

The final memeber of the Trio, Picnicker Dana. Meowth VS. Funky. Who won? You're wrong. Funky won! Pidgey VS. Funky. Who Won? Funky, of course! Aqulia finished off the ORDISH!

Sunlight! Air! FRESH Air!! I finally defeated the Boss known as the Rock Tunnel! Now I can go straight to Lavender Town... or can I?!

My Team at this point:
Saur the Ivysaur
Funky the Mankey
Butterkill the Butterfree
PinCushion the Beedrill
Ze Bat the Zubat
Aquila the Pidgeotto

In Box:
Purrfect the Meowth
Macho the Machop

Deceased:
R.I.P Snake the Ekans
R.I.P Diggit the Diglett

- Will I get to Lavender Town?
- Will there be trouble, if I get to Lavender Town?
- Seriously, Who stole my Sandwich?!

Find out the answer to most of these questions next time on Pokemon FireRed!

I'm sure my friend loves the Plat I gave him back: A Draco meteor Garchomp, and some of the legendaries he loves on his teams oh so much.

Next up: Emerald!

...yeah right, not until the race. (Look in the group!) Instead, FIRE RED TIME GOGOGOGO!

(Updates coming soon. Yes, I'm going to do what I haven't done since Yellow... A STORYLINE *cue dramatic music*)

I have tried doing this myself on Leaf Green several times, but always ended up failing around halfway through for some reason or another. However, reading these stories again has made me want to try another run. Of the ones I've read, I've really liked Jumpluff's, for practically every reason imaginable, and Joel's, though lacking a story line, was very readable and I enjoyed it. I'm sure there are other good ones I haven't read yet, but I'm itching to go play another nuzlocke run of my own now. Is Diamond/Pearl easier than Fire Red/Leaf Green for this sort of thing?

Yes I think I am somewhat evil as I just found the link posted by Raverist very funny. Sometimes I just cannot help saying something like "Ha ha you failed". I guess thats just me.

Time for an Update!

Prior Post
http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2685960&postcount=834

Itex forest was a rather nice place. I had always liked forests and my pokemon were here to protect me if i needed them. I quicky founda paras and caught it. I named it "Sroom" because if its mushrooms on its back. I helped find the missing brid pokemon and taught Sroom cut so that I could progress throug the forest. I came accross some random man hitting a tree....with his head. He looked like a hippy that had been in the forest for too long however Ivy and Bubbles both hated trees so I taught thm headbutt. Sadly I could find no Heracross when I arrived in Azalea Town so I entered the forest again and began my way deeper into the forest. I paid my respects at the forest shrine and continued on until I meet the strange Kimmono girl I had seen before. She was lost but quick thinking Bubbles showed her the way and she left without even thanking me...

Anyway since Bubbles knew the way out (I didn't) I followed it and made my way to the Day Care centre. Once their I meat Ethan with his grand parents. His grand mother asked if we were boyfriend and Girlfriend. Ethan looked pretty uncomfortable so I let him hang for a while before heapfull replying that " Me and Ethan are not a couple, never have and never will be. Quick frankly I don't like him cause him and that fugly Marril keep following me around".
That did the trick and they left me alone even though Ethan insisted on geting my number. I am changing it as soon as possiable so that our contact is minimum.

I arrive at Goldenrod city and get offered a free bike and radio card which I quicky take. Ethan also gives me a Fashion Case as a 'gift' authough I remain convinced that he was inplying that me and my pokemon are ugly so he is still off my christmas card list. I hated the bug catching Contest sucked as I got some shitty catapie while the guys next to me got a Butterfree and a Scyther. I remain convinced that Catapie (now released) would have won as it was much prettier than that scyther...

Anyway after my last gym battle I am reluctant to enter the Goldenrod gym in case of similar issues. I pluk up my corage and face off against Whitney who dresses like a cheerleader and looks as fugly as a Blissey. I should not have been so worried about this battle as Bubbles destroyed Clefairy and Miltank took dirt nap after Ivy blasted it with a few Magical Leaf's.

Typical cheerleader, started crying after she lost. She eventually gave me my badge though.

I left the gym and decided to rebuild my party. To my delight I discovered a Yanma just before the Bug Catching and Pokethon Gate. I named it Zoom Zoom. I also caught a Sudowoodo which I named Rocky for obvious reasons. In the next route I added a Growlithe which I named Inferno due to his cool fire moves. When I finally arived at Ecruteak City it was dark soI took a break at the pokemon centre. The next day I thought that I would see the sights and discovered a Dance theature. I met up with the same Kimmino Girl I had seen before. I was not impressed by her dancing (I am waay more skilled than her) however the loser wearing an 'R' on his black jacket was so much worse so I proceeded to beat the crap out of him. ( I taught him a leason when we thought that he was dance better than me!)

After recieving the HM for Surf I went to the Burned Tower mainly because it was the cities main attraction. There I met Morty and some random called Eusine who is obsesed with Suicune. I must admit that when I saw Suicuen with my oewn eyes as it dashed past me I appreciated it's grace. In that instant, I wanted Suicune too and I was determined to get it. matt also appeared and challenged me. Authough his entire team seemed to soley counter Bayleef, Inferno and Bubbles managed to wrap up the battle quickly. "how does it feel knowing that you lost to a girl", I sneer at him as he gets mad and runs off again. I swear that nothing annoys me as much as that little Genga kid, authough, nothing makes me happier than beating the crap out of him as well so it's a coin flip really. As a result of this battle Bubbles underwent evolution transforming into Poliwhirl and gaining extra power as I result. I could not wait to test him out.

I returned to the pokemon centre to rest for a while as I had to wait until night had fallen before I could challenge the gym. I was feeling very nervious going into this battle. Ghost pokemon were notoriously hard to kill and I half expected to see Zealand and Bounce again...

As it was not yet dark i decided on some training. I faced a tranier which had a Kadabra and 2 Abra. The kadabra almost killed Eagle and I was forced to let sroom die to get a free switch in. sroom crumpled to the ground and I had a flashback to Bugys gym as I had beheld my other pokemon die. Bitterly disappointed in myself I decided to cancel my gym challege and bury Sroom and vowed that his sacrifice not be in vain. After a day of morning a approached the gym ready for anything Morty could throw at me.

I faced of against Morty is his spooky gym. "Gastly win this for me he cried as the bundle of gas apeared and gave an evil leer.
Inferno I need you I cried as my faithful puppy leapt away from my side to do battle. Inferno did not waste time as it carged foward, Fire surounding it as it formed a Wheel. It slammed into Gastly causing to to collape right then. Morty was surprised, but collected himself and sent out Gengar to destry Inferno. Gengar was obviously Mortys strogest pokemon so I decided that it was time to reveal my powerhouse, Punisher!

Punisher had been caught soon after I had arrived at Ecruteak city as I had managed to headbutt a tree with it inside it. Punisher had become very strong after much training and now was my strongest pokemon.

Punisher faced off against Gengar and Morty wasted no time in ordering Gengar to fire off a shadow Ball. The glowing purple ball or energy struck Heracross full on and knocking it to the ground. Morty grinned, thinking that victory was hs until Heracross stod back up, hurt but alive. "Punisher use Shadow Claw" I ordered. Punisher slashed at Gengar with a ghostly Claw whiched caused Gengar to wither under such an intense assult. Morty send out his two remaining pokemon (both Haunters) but I could tell that his heart was not in it anymore after he had seen Punishers power.

Sure enough Punisher prevailed and victory was mine. I gave a silent thanks to Zealand, Bounce and Sroom who had helped my reach this far. Taking a well earned rest I knew that I would need it as Olivine City was next on my list...

As you can see the RNG kinda lovs me giving me a Yanma and Growlithe first go and with decent natures as well. Zoom Zoom has compundeyes and Inferno has Flash Fire as its ability. I was finally able to find a Hearacross as the whole 1 tree per area thing meant that Heracross only had a few places to be found.

I kinda had to grind for a bit as both Growlithe and Yanma and Heracross were underleveled. I will try and stick with the whole 2 gyms per update thing. However the ICe gym may be seperate due to the Team Rocket thing...
Anyway no-one cares So ill update when I can

Have a Nice Day!

PROLOUGE: And now for something completely different!

The town of Pallat town (REDUNDANCY AHOY!) was a quiet, peaceful little town. It was also known for the mad proffessor there, and the resident's hailing of him as the big person in the town.

One day, the peace of Pallat town was disturbed. 2 boys, one in red and one in black, warped into the town. The residents quickly ran away, fearing bad things.

"Ugh. Where are we THIS time, Reggie?" said the boy in red.

"Looks like... Pallat town? Again? Haven't we been through this whole Kanto schtic before, Mattman?" replyed the boy in black.

The red one, "Mattman", as the other had called him, smiled. "I vaugly remember our doing so. Didn't I end up creaming you with 4 hugely underleveled pokemon, including a Pikachu and a Snorlax?"

"Shut up, I had bad movesets. You may not know what it's like to be the rival... You're forced to do things even though you KNOW that doing something else would be better," the boy in black, "Reggie", retorted.

"Well at least you weren't forced to be a GIRL." Mattman visably shuddered.

"True, too true. Hey, why don't we mix things up a little?"

"How?"

"Well, if we're having ANY dialouge outside of the usual ingame stuff, then that means Mattman324's doing what he never does, that being write down what we're doing."

"Yeah, so?"

"So we mix things up. I've been your rival for a while now, but I grow tired. Let's dupe someone else to be your rival, and we'll travel the region TOGETHER. That way, when Mattman324 get's involved in the big race a bit from now, he can use ME instead, and retire you as champ."

Mattman visably brightened up with that. "Alright. Hey, I have to go do that whole 'Beggining of the game' sequence, why don't you make yourself useful?"

"Cool." Mattman immidiatly fled to the proffesor's office, while Reggie pulled out his handy laptop. "Let's get out my favorites... here we are", he said, while websites started popping up on the screan...

That's the beginning of my story, and I'm sticking to it.

This is the saddest Nuzlocke-related thing I have ever seen in my life.

Hell, it be inspiration for me to start my Nuzlocke next week.
I know that that's really sad... But that was the funniest thing that I've seen for a long time. xD

That being said, I have a ton of stuff going on IRL, so I'm not sure when I'll be getting my next update done. And am I original with how I'm doing my log, or did someone do something like it before me?

After going through the regular morning routine, I walk into Elm’s lab. It’s there that I find out Professor Elm wants to give me a Pokemon. Overjoyed, I walk over to his machine and examine the Pokemon there. Seeing a small blue crocodile, I instantly fell in love. Without any more thought, I grabbed the Poke Ball and told the professor I wanted this one for sure. After pondering on a nickname for a while, I decided Shredder would be suitable.

Elm tells me I need to go see Mr. Pokemon just north of Cherrygrove City, so I set out on what I think will be a short journey. Being handed Potions on the way out, I laughed out of overconfidence, and walked out the door, heading to Route 29. Along the road to Cherrygrove, I see three Hoothoot, all of which are taken down by repeated Scratches to the face from Shredder. I get to Cherrygrove, and a nice old man shows me around, then gives me Running Shoes; the fact that I didn’t have to walk everywhere was extremely relieving.

After thanking the old man, I head over to the Pokemon Center to get Shredder back into shape. On the way out, the old man was even kind enough to give me a map for me Pokegear! I head north on Route 30, where I was told I could find Mr. Pokemon to fulfill Professor Elm’s errand. On the way, I walk into a house which I thought belonged to Mr. Pokemon, but it turned out to be a man who gave me an Apricorn Box. Thanking him, I walked out and continued my journey.

Running into several Pokemon on the way up, Shredder kept his composure and eliminated them all. I finally got to Mr. Pokemon’s house, to find that he wanted me to deliver a Mystery Egg to Professor Elm. Before I left, I was fortunate enough to talk to Professor Oak on my way out, and he gave me a Pokedex, allowing me to record data on all the Pokemon in the world.
On the way back, I get a call from Professor Elm, who sounds like he is in a lot of distress. Worried, I hurry back to his lab. On the way back, I run into a rude, red-headed kid who I happened to see looking in Elm’s window. He challenges me to a battle, and even though I’m in a rush, his attitude makes me want to pummel him. He has a Chikorita, one of the Pokemon I had seen in Elm’s lab. I put the pieces together and figured that this Pokemon must be stolen. Landing a much needed critical hit, Shredder was able to take this Chikorita down after some time. Not having much more time to worry about him, I run off towards the lab.

I got back to the lab to find out that the nasty kid had indeed taken the Pokemon, and I was asked for his name. Having rushed away from him, it took me a second to remember it, but eventually I pieced together that his name was Richard. After the commotion was over, I handed Elm the egg I was to deliver, and set off again to take the Pokemon Gym challenge as recommended by the Professor.

MATTMAN (and Reggie's) ADVENTURES THROUGH THE LAND OF KANTO, WHERE SHIT GOES DOWN.

PART ONE: Beggining stuff, yadda yadd- SHINY!

While Reggie was looking through the internet, Mattman had important duties. First, there was signing up as a trainer. Then, the world! Well, the world meets a more deadlier force than the black plauge.

And thus, Mattman burst through Oak's door. Seeing Mattman, he smiled.

"Hello! Welcome to the world of pokemon! My name is Oak. People affectionatly refer to me as the pokemon proffessor. Now, are you a boy or a girl?"

"...USE YOUR EYES. I'm a guy."

"What is your name?"

"My name is... Mattman."

"Great! Now, this is... hey, where did my grandson go?" Oak, as he did in their last excursion to Kanto, refered to Reggie as his "Grandson".

"Er... he got the flu?"

"Oh, OK. COMPUTOR!" He yelled to that odd device in the corner (Which your character "better not mess around with"). "MAKE ME A GRANDSON CLONE!"

"Wait, what?" But before Mattman could protest, the machine got to work. From it's feet to it's hair, to the clothes it wore, you could tell that it is was a clone of Reggie.

"Good, good, clone 498 is a success..." Oak then turned to the horrified Mattman. "So, what is my grandson's name?"

Mattman still couldn't get the creeping horror factor off his mind, but gulped and stuttered out "Uh, his name is Reggie..."

"Great! Now, choose your starter pokemon"

"Umm, er..." Mattman looked at the three starters. Charizard was the hardest, but he had a unique type for most of the game, and Mattman did not really like Zard. Venusaur was his favorite, and was the strongest, but he always used Venusaur. Blastoise, however... well, if HE could do it, so could Mattman! "I'll take Squirtle!"

The clone looked up. "Great! I'll take Bulbasaur! Now, it's time for you and me to battle!" The clone sent out his Bulbasaur, ready for a fight.

Mattman had other things on his mind. "Hmm... what to name you, what to name you... I GOT IT!" Mattman sent out his Squirtle. "In honor of what is possibly the most awesome nuzlocke of all time, I shall name you MEGA MAN!"

The Squirtle liked that.

"Now Mega Man, fight for great justice!" It... was a pathetic battle. 2 crits, and Bulba missed one tackle, and in the end, Mega Man was the last one standing.

"Darn! I have to train my pokemon..."

"Kid... or clone... or WHATEVER YOU ARE, it's dead." Mattman left the room. The clone, saddened, turned around... to see a FUMING proffesor Oak.

"HOW COULD YOU LOSE? Your brothers never lost a battle since that... failure of a clone did 10 years ago! Into the scrap heap with you!" As if on cue, a large claw picked the clone up and threw it into a metal grinder (Just offscreen in the forest to the right of the lab)

Mattman, of course, was to busy gloating to Reggie about his victory. "It was a curbstomp battle, I tell you! Mega man here is... the bomb!"

"That was a horrid joke."

"Yeah, it was." Mattman then frowned. "But the wierd thing was, Oak called that clone 'Clone 498.' If it was really the FOUR HUNDRED AND NINTYth CLONE, then where are the rest?"

Reggie thought for a second, then shrugged. "Dunno. Hey, let's go give Oak that parcel thingy."

-----------------------------------

Meanwhile, in Oak's lab...

"BAH" screamed Oak. "How could that clone lose? You three! 459, 421, and 399! You stop that "MATTMAN" fellow!"

The three scientists lost their disquises. They were all Gary's inside! "Yes sir!" The three ran off.

"Wait... did he say his name was Mattman?" A smile formed on his face. "Perfect. He seems weak now, maybe my men have a chance."

I'm doing a nuzlocke on my diamond! also no gay fanfic shit...

Okay, so here I start my nuzlocke run. My retarded rival brings me to the lake, we steal shit, kill some animals, etc. We're fuckin hardcore. I mull over which pokemon i should start with, but I end up using Turtwig. I've never used him before and since i can't make sacrifices to wear down roark to put him in mach punch range, and piplup is ass, he just seems the most solid. STAB earthquake doesnt hurt as well 8) so i was hoping to not find a pokemon before i got my poke balls. the rng hates me. i ran into a starly (WANT) which i had to kill for experience. I got the talk from rowan and headed on down route 200whatever. Dawn showed me how to catch a pokemon (turns out you have to throw the poke ball or something its really complicated). I got my poke balls from dawn, and got my wish; a starly, level 4! I started to battle with him so he could learn quick attack and then get on par with turtwig. After he learned wing attack, however, I was battling solely with him.

So I arrive at jubilife city, talk to these assclowns, and then head north to maybe catch something good and get some experience. I battle a few trainers and run into a level 3 starly, which i just kill. Now my starly is level 10 and my turtwig 8. Now that i'm satisfied with my levels, I head out to battle DOUCHE (who the fuck names their child douche-oh wait ehehe). I tackle the starly with turtwig until i'm at like -3 from growl and doing jack shit to starly. I go to my own starly who takes down his and then 3hkos his chimchar. I go back and heal up (at this point i realize i'm healing too much and and imposing a 500 dollar fine per poke center visit). I forge onwards, catch a zubat, and then meet this (BAN ME PLEASE) who has one pokemon. Kricketot.

So kricketot uses bide turn one as i tackle. Tackle is looking like a solid 3hko. Not seeing the danger in this, i tackle again. Kricketot is storing energy.

Kricketot unleased stored energy. Turtwig fainted.

Fuck

So now I'm down a turtwig with Roark still left to face. I head into the grass ahead of me and see if i find a budew; no luck. So i press on into oreburgh gate, nabbing rock smash. I remember that i can maybe catch a machop if i'm lucky in a patch of grass after oreburgh. I head on down to the grass, and stare at the screen until i see i have a battle. Wild machop appears. FUCK YES. I'm too afraid of ohkoing it with my level 13 starly, so i just throw a poke ball. 3 shakes, and it's mine. I now have a shot at roark. I check its moves-low kick and leer. Low kick. fuck yes. I go to oreburgh mine to train it against geodudes, finding that low kick is a 3hko. I elevate myself five levels to level 10 and learn karate chop, another stroke of luck. I'm still not confident about my level, since I can't OHKO wild level 7 geodude with him, so i grind a bit more and get to roark. hi yea gym leader watch you smash rocks cool battle? So we go back to heal up, buying and tossing a potion and paralyze heal. I go to the gym and fight all of his grunts to be as STRONGTH as possible. I just use a potion because i am lazy. Next...

GYM LEADER BATTLE: ROARK
TYPE: ROCK
BADGE: 1

I karate chop twice for the ko on his geodude while he Mud sports. He then brings our Cranidos who leers as i karate chop for around eighty percent damage. Then he restores all of his health as i Karate Chop again for a critical hit OHKO. Then he sends out Onix who i'm pretty sure low kick will ohko. Onix outspeeds me and uses screech as i low kick, leaving him with a tiny sliver of health. He uses rock throw which, even at -3 defense, manages 9 of my hp and i low kick for the win.

TEAM:

Starly @ level 13
- tackle
- quick attack
- wing attack
- growl

Machop @ level 15
- low kick
- karate chop
- tackle
- foresight

Itex Forest to just before Olivine City
http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=2688213&postcount=840

Major Update, instead of 2 gym battles you get 4!
Don't say that I don't work hard for you.

Also bear with me if I make any mistakes since its late and I only just turned off my NDS.

Well Olivine City sure was a nice town to live in I though to myself as I strolled down the main street. Geting here had been a breeze as Punisher had smashed down anyone in his way. However due to a number of close calls with gym leaders (bugsy foremost on my mind) I realised that I would have to embark on some serious training shortly if I wanted to aviod losing anymore of my friends.

I shrugged this thought off however, as I beheld Olivine Gym. "A steel type gym huh" I mused out load. "Yeah thats right" yelled my favourite red haired freak, Matt. "Well look what the cat dragged in" I smirked at him, trying to hid the fact that he had taken me my surprise. To my astonishment however, Matt seemed unruffled, confordent even. "Whats going on" I asked wondering what brought about this change in attitude. "The leaders off treating some stupid sick pokemon" he relplied, "but since yours truly has already got his badge I don't really care, however it looks like you are going to be stuck here for a little while, see you later, bitch".

I grit my teeth and swear that the next time we battle I am giving him no mercy, nor will I hesitate to rub the victory in his face. With nothing else to do I chat with the towns people and discover that the gym leader was tending to the lighthouse pokemon at, you guessed it, the lighthouse. I also gather that there are loads of trainers in the lighthouse looking for a battle to impress Jasmine or have a battle with here. Well I decide not to let this golden oppotunity go to waste and set out for the lighthouse to train.

The Lighthouse trainers were easy for me now and Inferno made quick work of them. I entered the observation deck which is extremly gloomy. 'Hello?" I ask as I walk in through the door. With no answer forthcomming I spot a lift and cross over to it. I arive at the top floor slight tired from all the battling I had do today. The doors pinged open and I saw Jasmine hunched over a sick Amphrados. I had initinally gone to Jasmie to ask for a battle but at the sight of the dying pokemon I could only see Zealands face. I rushed over and asked if I could help, in anyway possiable however how small. "There is a pharmacy accross the sea that has medicine that can help amphy" Jasmie replied in respoonse to my questian. I'll go right away I promised and left the lighthouse as fast as I could. After healing at the pokemon centre I used Bubbles as my sea transport i began my journey accross the sea.

We were making good progress I though to myself as I saw Cianwood city in the distance. The water pokemon I had encountered had provided Ivy with some much needed training and I knew that she was close to evolving. Pidgeotto has evolved into Pidgeott, the lighthouse experience paying off.
The moment Bubbles had arrived at the little seaside town I was off, charging toward the medicine shop to get the cure for Amphy. I explained the issue with the stores owner who handed my his secret potion.
"You look tired" he told me as I thnaked him feverently for the medicine. "I suggest that you stay for awhile". "What about Amphy?" I asked. "It looks really bad".
The old man chuckled " It may be sick, hoever you could hurt yourself if you set off now, beside, if you fly you could get their much faster anyway".

I was confused, I could not fly, so what was he talking about?

I asked him and he told me that a winner of the Cianwood gym gets the HM move Fly which lets you travel to towns and citys much faster, provided you have visted them before. I was very interested in this and the man encouraged me to take the gym challenge as it "would be good practise for future gym battles". Due to the latness of the hour the gym was closed so I spent the night at the pokemon centre, to get some rest for the day ahead.

Chuck the gym leader proved difficult to get to as his bodyguards used fighting pokemon. Pidgeott proved its worth here although I was worried that its lack of power my prove my downfall...

I faced off against Chuck very nerviously. Chuck through a ball, and iut came a Primeape. I knew these were fast and powerfull pokemon so I sent out Ivy, to bring be an early advantage. Primape fired off a Rock slide as I set up a reflect. As I switched to Pidgeott I was shocked when Primeape fired off a focus Punch, slamming into Pidgeott. Shrugging off the hit Pidgeott fired off a bunch of fethers which weakened Primeapes assults. By blasting gusts of wind as Primape I was eventually able to wear down Primape while I was amazed at Pidgeotts ability to survie the many focus Punch's that Chuck sent his way.
Chucks second pokemon was the powerfull evolution of my own Bubbles, Poliwrath. However it was no match for Ivy which was able to dodge the many Focus Punchs thrown at it while unleashing magical leaves to end it.

Gracious in defeat Chuck went back to trainer while I collected my Proze and flew back to Olivine to help Amphy. I handed the medicine over to Jasmine and watched as it took effect. In no time at all Amphy was fully cured and Jasmine invited me to a gym battle. I decined as I needed to rest so it was agreed that tomorow afternoon out battle would take place. I rested up and at dawn I started some extra training for both Inferno, Ivy and Punisher. Ivy supassed all my expectations by evolving into Megainium, giving me a much needed confidence boost heading into the match.

In short this gym battle was run on the proverbial knife edge. Inferno faced off againt Jasmine's Magnimite. A quick Fire Fang killed it and then entered Steelix.
Inferno blasts a Fire Fang at steelix which it shakes off and screechs at Inferno. Knowing that I am vulnerable to steelix's next move I switch to Meganium and get damaged by a group of rocks that Sreelix hurls my way. Wanting to minamise damage I set up Reflect which is countered by Jasmine when Steelix uses screech. Frustrated I use a Magical Leaf and Stelix again shrugs this off and uses Sandsorm. At this point I am very worried as Steelix can now take both physical and special attacks directed at him. In despiration I try a Petal Dance which weakens Steelix while it Iron Tails me. We both trade blows before I realsie that Meganium is dangerously low on health I that I have one more turn of Reflect. I send out Punisher which takes a stunning blow from steelix's Iron Tail. As Sandstorm weakens Punisher futher and my reflect fades I try and wrap things up. Punishers delivers a powerfull strike at Steelix by way of a Brick break. Steelix wavers and gives out a groan. Jasmine looks unconcerned and sure enough Steelix, crippled and at the edge of its endurance strikes out at Punisher with a poerfull Iron Tail, this time with no Reflect to cusion the blow. Punisher falls to the ground. "Punisher, please get up", I cry, desperate. Punisher incrediably trembles then gets to its feet, exhauted, battered and brused. However the sandstorm suddenly gives a sudden flurry. I realsie that this could be the end for Punisher. Punisher falls to its knees......

and the sandstorm subsides. Punisher struggles to its feet and delivers one last strike just as Jasmine orders Steelix to do the same. Brick Break and Iron Tail combine and form a massive dust cload. The dust clears and it is Punisher still standing showing increadiable endurance and force of will. Steelix is on the ground, having lost this fight. Jasmine looks shocked. Magnamite apears determined to revenge its fallen brother. I sent out Growlitthe which spins into a wheel and slams into magnamite. Magnamite shakes this off and blasts an electric atack and growlite, paralysing it. It fires off another, more powerfull electric attack before Growlite finally ends this long and drawn out battle with a Fire Fang.

After this battle I treat myself and give me and my team 1 month off. We train and have fun but thats all we do. I wanted to reward my team with all its hard work. Ialso want to terain up my newly caught Larvatar whic hi had recieved from the Safari Zone as well as a Lapras. ]

One month passes and I arrive at Mahogany town refreshed and restored. I catch a Red Gyarados rampaging at the Lake of Rage and name it Crush. As I return to shore I encounter a man with a black cape. You can tel that he thinks that he looks dashingly handsome cause he keeps swirling it around, trying to make an impression. He looks smoking hot though so maybe I should get his number of even ask him out....

He spots me and strolls over. Next to him is his own pokemon, a dragon pokemon he tells me is called Dragonite and that his name is Lance. Dragonites power amazes me and I make a mentel not to include a check for it in my team as I believe that I am heavily weak to it. Lance tells me that Team Rocket are in Mahogany Town and that they are forcing the magikarp there to evolve. I offer to help and we travel to a remote gift shop on the outskirts of Mahogany Town. Lance kicks down the door and finds the secret passage immediatly. I follwo after him however I get seperated and end up facing a ton or Team Rocket grunts. I plow through them with ease and discover the two passwords needed to unlock the Team Rocket Leaders door. I encounter Pertral who is easily dealt with and the few remaining admins are dealt with my me and Lance.

I decide that its the perfect time to challenge the mahogany town gym and face off against Pryce. His pokemon are no match for Ivy which destroys them with the help of Zoom.

Happy with my achievements I spead the night at the pokemon centre and am very suprised when I get a call from Elm the following morning. "Have you heard the radio yet" he asked, somewhat confused I turn on the radio and am stunned to hear the Team Rocket take over message sound. I cannot believe believe this, I thought I had ended their little plans enough times already. I set off for Goldenrod City at once.

Onceat Goldenrod I fight my way through a swarm of weak Team Rocket grunts and enter the directers chamber. At this moment Pertel reveals himself with an evil grin. "I have been manupulating the peope of Johto for months he cries, very pleased with himself. "this ends here" I say, I little meladromatic but sometimes I cannot help myself sometimes. Petral sends out multiabel Koffing. I deal with them until he sends out weezing. "Pupatar, I choose you" i yell and my newly evolved larvatar (named Chaos) appears ready to fight. Pertal wasts no time and sends a Sludge attack flying Pupatar's way. It hits and poisons it. However, Chaos retaliates with a Dark Pulse followed up with a payback. Suddenly Weezing begins to glow. "Whats happining?" I ask. Pertal gives an evil smile as Weezing abruptly explodes sending a massive shock wave throughout the room. "Chaos" I cry out. I spy it lying against a nearby wall. It shakes and then slowely rises up. "Impossiable" pertal screms. Chaos gives a little shake and then the green tinge apears. I realise what this means, Chaos will not survive this battle. Petral realises that Choes will die and begins to look smug, just them Chaos glows a brilient white. as the light dies out I see hat Choas has created a new layer, a new skin, it had shed its skin compleatly and thus was not sick anymore. Petral looks even more soar and admits defeat. "here" he says and gives me a key,"It will help you free the directer." "So", I say, "finally joined the good guys huh"? "God no" Petral relies, "this plan is still going to work, we have alrady won and you cannot stop us"!

There is an aukward silence then I smile. "The director can stop you, he can get me access to your leader.
"Well, yes" replys Petral.

I start laughing, "so you just gave me the key to stopping your plans, I mean , OMG you actually are stupider than you look"!

Petrals expression changes as he realises what he has done, "give them back" he screechs but I am already gone, runnig out of the radio tower.
After my laughter subsides I go to the underground and i enter the locked area. "that is it" a vioce says behind me, I don't bother turning, I know who it is. "So you finally showed,"I taunt, losing to Lance finally made you wallow in self pity". Mat scowls, his only answer is to pull out a poke ball. "So meladromatic' I sigh and send out my Punisher.
5 minutes later and matt is on his knees again, having witnessed a crushing defeat... carried out by me.

"Hey whats the different between a brick and a Gengar?" I ask
Since he is still in too much shock to answer I reply

"The brick gets laid!"

Matt bursts into tears.

"Aw what a pussy, who is the weakling now"? I ask still unrelentless. For too long this guy has been mean to me and horriable to his pokemon, it must stop now. Matts only response is to lash out which I dodge. I look at him, sniveling and pathetic and actually feel sorry for him. I hold out a hand and pull him back to his feet. "now look Here" I say, Its Hug a Genga day and therefore I have to find a genga and make him feel loved by giving him a hug, however, in no way does this mean I like you. Matt looks confused so I give him a quick hug and step away. "You be good to your pokemon you here"? I ask.
"Yes" is the quiet reply I get from him, I smile to myself and open the next door, determined to stop Team Rocket.

I rescue the Director with ease as he is only guarded by a few weak grunts. The director gives me a card key which I use to go straight up to the final floor and iface off against the leader or Team Rocket.
Punisher makes rather short work of his team and I realise that I must have grown extremly powerfull to regrd him as little challenge to me. After Archer disbands TeamRocket I had off to the Blackthorn City. I catch a swinub which I call Snowy and challenge the gym,

Clair proves to be a difficuly opponient. Pupartar handles Gyarados but Kingdra is very dangerous. Gyaraods launchs Dragon Rages at it and just when victory it sucure.... Kingdra smashs Gyardos to the ground with a critical Dragon Pulse. "NO" i scream as Crush sinks to the ground. I try and gather my focus and then, promising new to forget its sacrifice, I send out Meganium. "Kingdra use Hyper Beam" Clare orders, "Finish this". "Meganium look out!" I cry, certain that another partner will fall. The warning comes too late as the beam hits Meganium creating a huge explosion. As the smoke clears, amazingly Meganium is still standing, shaken but Alive. Meganium reteliates by blasting a tree at Kingdra via frenzy Plant. Kingdra falls but Clair still looks confident havig 2 Dragonair left. However my Mamoswine cleans up with Ice Fang and the Rising Badge is mine.

Some time later I bury Crush, in the water next to the gym. I think that it will like it there.

I turn my focus to the pokemon league which I am certain, will prove to be a tough challenge. However Crush's death has shaken me to the core. I am no longer an invulnetale warrior, rather uncertain about my statigies and skills. I spend 2 more months traing and by the end of it I arrive in New Bark Town, read for the challenge of Victory Road.

(Note I am actually outside the pokemon league ingame and which means the levels are slightly highier than they should be since (in this text) I have not arived in the pokemon league.)

So some of you may notice that I hae a ES Dragonite. After chaos died I needed a new poke and drazgonite fitted the bill. I have been grinding for soo long but is finaly ready! I will challenge the E4 soon.

Yes everyone I had quite a few close calls.
Heracross survived the second Iron Tail with 8HP left and I really thought that Sandstorm would finish it off however it ends at exactually that moment.

Pupitar did indeed survive a sludge attack for weezing which piosoned it. It then survived weezings Explosion with 3HP left and then cured itself of poison which would have killed it.
Also after the Archer battle I found out that I had recieved pokerus from Archer!
Man this game is so nice to me authough I wish I could get a shiny instead.

And yes, Gyarados died to a Sniper boosted Critical hit Dragon Pulse (Sniper triples the atack damage instead of the damage being doubled) just as I would have killed it with Dragon Rage. If only I had been faster....

Well thats it, I'll give a better team statusnext update since I have caught a few pokemon.

Also its "Hug a Genga Day" in New Zealand (*looks at the time*, or it was)
So hug a genga and make them fell loved, go on, make them feel happy!
Props to anyone who read all of this, your are awesome

Have a Nice Day!

I will be taking this challenge on my leafgreen game, using the standard rules posted in the first post, NOT the complete ones in post 2.

I'm currently doing the challenge. I can only use items along with one use of each pokemon center. No duplicate pokemon rule. It's tough already. I've decided to use all my pp before using a pokecenter to try and get the most out of it.

Current team:

Quilla the Quilava: Level 20
Hit Girl the Dratini: Level 20
Mac the Sandshrew: Level 20

Badges: 2

Deaths:
RIP Bella the Zubat (Died to an Onix's Rock Throw...Didn't think it would have it at Level 11 O.o)
RIP Pinky the Rattata (Died to a Critical Hit Confusion followed by hitting itself in confusion -_-)

My current team is:
Chimchar (Nuzlocke)
Level 13

Shinx (Owen N)
Level 11

Bidoof (Dwn N Drty)
Level 7

I decided to include a capital N in all there names so i can remember them if i trade them... so i know what we've been through.

My story begins here:

I jumped out of bed as soon as I heard the Pidgeys outside singing. Today's the day, today's the day! These thoughts rushed to my head. Before I forgot, I decided to take my good luck charm (an empty potion bottle) from my drawer. I ran downstairs.

"Bye mom, today's the day!" I yelled as I ran outside the house at full speed. She smiled, nodded, and hummed a tune over a cup of coffee. This was it. my 14th birthday, and I get to spend it beginning an adventure!

I ran down the street, almost tripping over my untied shows, and ran right into Uncle Oak's office. Since Kene and I were like brothers, Professor Oak lets me call him uncle Oak. He is like family to me, and he sparked my interest in the fire type of pokemon. I walked over to Kene, only to hear that Uncle Oak wasn't around. Crestfallen, I walked out of the door and began looking around for my idol.

Still running and tripping on wildly-flying shoelaces, I decided to walk over to Route 1 and look for him. Uncle Oak stopped me before I left. I turned to face him with a wide grin on my face.

"It's unsafe! Wild pokemon like in tall grass!" he said, "You need your own pokemon..."

The rest sounded like mumbo-jumbo in my daydreams of training a Charizard. I fallowed Uncle Oak back to his lab.

After hearing Uncle Oak's rants about when he was younger, I rushed like hell to the far right of the table where the starters were and triumphantly held up the pokeball that contained Charmander. The pokeball felt warm and toasty in my hand. I decided to nickname it "Stevie" after Uncle Oak, for this opportunity. I smiled with joy as I cradled Stevie in my arms, all the while seeing Kene choose Squirtle.

"My pokemon makes yours look like shit!" he boasted. My warm expression turned to one of anger and hate at his words. It was go time. I challenged my former friend to a battle then and there!

"Go, Stevie!" I yelled, and Stevie jumped out of my arms and into the battlefield. I chose to ignore everything Uncle Oak said then. Even before I could say "Scratch!" Stevie jumped to Squirtle and clawed him in the belly. I smirked as Squirtle let out a yelp of pain.

The Squirtle responded by using Tackle on Stevie, knocking it to the ground. Stevie clawed the water-typed sucka in the leg while he was down. Man, that guy was tough!

Squirtle tackled Stevie just as he got up, but Stevie clawed Squirtle again right afterward. The match was a battle of will between my man and his. Luckily, Stevie was head and shoulders better than Squirtle the whole time, and I reaped the benefits when Stevie stared down a KO'd Squirtle afterward.

"Yes!! Take that, Kene!" I yelled, dancing around with joy and bear-hugging Stevie. I'm sure that hurt him a lot more than any tackles could...

To be continued.

Can I play this challange in Pokémon Quartz?
I've made a recent PC challange involving all the main games; so I'd like to take an interesting challange with other game, so, what about Quartz? Is it Ok if I do it there?
