Mr.E my whole draft wasn't autodrafted, but most of the first half was. If I was present for the whole draft, I would have probably still taken the same top 3 (Charles, Green, Murray), but then gone with a strong WR2 over Big Ben. I like the value with some of the later QBs (I'm big on Tannehill, Bradford, lesser Manning, Bridgewater etc as well as even taking a Romo a little earlier) and would have preferred a strong WR2 there. Big Ben is underrated for fantasy purposes though, the man is going to put up some huge numbers and I predict he finishes the 3rd ranked fantasy QB this year. Less upside than having a high end #2 receiver, but he should consistently get me 20 points and help set my floor just that bit higher.

Olsen in PPR was a deliberate pick, I tried to load up Kelce but my phone stuffed up and went with my pre draft rankings instead - I'm glad that happened in the end, because I think as Newton's number one target he's going to have an absolutely monster year. When my phone crashed and picked Decker, I think I was about to queue up Nelson Aghlor, because someone's gotta eat in that Eagles offense.

At the end of the day, I think most of the teams are pretty closely ranked and everyone has a legitimate chance of winning - I love leagues that are this competitive.

And that's why we're 11 years strong, yo. Grats to huyhapig for being the last remaining inaugural member in da lee.

UGHHHHH so pissed i missed the draft.

Whover Spill the Bill is, I'm offering Roddy white or anquan boldin for Martavis Bryant. Maybe Drew Brees+one of them for Bradford+Martavis Bryant.

I'm definitely liking my team but I really wanted either Davante Adams or Martavis Bryant. Would have been nice to get Leveon Bell but oh well

Well half of League D missed the draft so you definitely weren't alone there. I really like my team given that Anderson/Ingram/Foster should be beastly and Jones/Cooks/Landry should be very good in PPR. Also Desperado, if you really want to make that deal, I would be willing to pull the trigger.

We've done auction a time or two in league C before. Iirc the first year I played we did auction and I spent ~100 on CJ Spiller and Doug Martin when they were supposed to be good

League C was auction last year so I have no idea why it was snake this year. League D was also auction when I played in 2013 iirc. I love auction more than snake, so I'm with you on that boat.

League B: I've gone ahead and processed the Charles for Bell trade me and Checkdown Chiefs made, because it was agreed upon in the draft room, nobody seemed to have a problem with it and so that he'd get Charles as a week 1 starter (Bell's team plays Thursday so the trade wouldnt have processed until week 2).

If anyone has an issue with the deal, let me know, but I figured trading two top 3 players before a single snap wasn't going to be an issue.

I just did a draft for a league with IDP scoring which I have never done before. 12 Teams PPR

It's PPR so I guess I'm a little bit weak at WR (I had the first pick so none of the studs fell to me, if I thought I'd get Forsett in rd2 I probably woulda taken Brown first overall) so I decided to go with a bunch of young WRs with a lot of upside.

That's ridiculous you say you have weak WRs. I would do anything for that (mostly cuz I'm biased) but those are the 4 receivers I wanted at 2 and any of them can be a 1. Jarvis Landry is #1 in Miami after last season. Stills and Graham left so Cooks is gonna get over 100 targets. Jordy Nels N is out so Davante Adams is getting hella targets and Martavis Bryant is a fucking beast. It's great that you can rotate them to fit their matchups and maybe put one of them in your flex.

yeah after a couple rounds i realized i was not drafting with the best players lol. a couple of their teams came out pretty good though so i wouldn't say it was all total scrubs but several of them were clearly inexperienced

BTW to say I'm weak at WR I more meant I'm a little uncomfortable that I don't have your typical stud a la Dez Bryant / Julio Jones / etc, and that's why I made a ton of upside picks at the position.

You didnt want Bell first in ppr? The reason I hesitated on dealing Charles for Bell was that mine was half ppr and a lack of options to cover the two weeks. In full ppr though, damn that's hard to pass up.

I thought about it pretty hard. I think my main issue is that I think Bell is ranked too high in general (he's 4th for me). I'm not really sold on the concept that the 2 games missed isn't a big deal because he's going to be a stud the rest of the way. Well yeah he is, but won't Charles/Lacy/AP be that same stud the whole way? I guess I'm just not convinced he'll be noticeably better than those other guys through those 14 games enough to make up for 2 games lost. In full point PPR it was definitely hard to pass on though, but I also tend to believe that #1 guys don't repeat - I don't think Brown will be #1 this year either - when there is a lot of strong competition at the position.

I honestly think that the choice with the first overall pick is just personal preference. I really like all the top 4 guys including Bell so I don't really think you can go wrong, I just personally wanted someone who wasn't missing any time off the bat.

Had my last draft of the season last night, a 12 man league consisting of myself and a bunch of friends. My roommates and I hosted the draft party so most of us were a 6-pack in by the time the draft started. Some highlights of the night include Golden Tate at #7 overall I. Momoa at #55 and D(eanthony). Thomas at #66 to the same person.

Only pick I wasn't particularly happy about was AJ80 in the fourth, had Matthews, Cooks, and Miller all go directly before me and the remaining options were a little scarce for that selection. I drafted 4 OA btw, yes Hill fell to 21.
