1. that goes into the trade section
2. yes you can breed for IV's. breed for IV's in Ru/Sa/Fr/Lg/Em then trade it to Pokemon XD and teach snorlax selfdestruct. the move tutor is in Agate Village.

I'm here, I just had exams and some reports, lol

Here is some examples of EV spreads,
Ludicolo : outspeed scarfed Heracross when it's rain, rest HP and Sp.Atk
Kingdra : the faster it is, the better it is. If it is Modest, it will be KOed by foe's Kingdra
Metagross : Many variations, don't use HP252, Atk252. It should be EVed a bit for Speed(if it isn't used with TR team) or Sp.Def
Gyarados : stand Zapdos's Thunderbolt with Wacan Berry. rest Speed or Atk, depends on its moves
Zapdos : stand Latios's Draco Meteor, rest Speed and Sp.Atk
lol, nice to see your still here.=D

ontopic: so kingdra is better with a Timid nature than a modest? also whats a good counter for a Latios since there are going to be so many of them with HP-Ground?

Actually, I think I'll have to disagree with the thought that there will be a lot of Latios(not directed at you, but a lot of people are saying it). Keep in mind, the US metagame is a lot different than the Japanese metagame, since most US players don't play 4v4 doubles, and thus don't have much experience(Most players in the US only play 6v6 singles and anything other than that is rarely played, where in Japan 4v4 doubles, 3v3 singles are a lot more popular). Last year's showdown was filled with a surprising amount of noobs(at least that's how it was in NY), and although I think that this years quality of players will be better, I still don't think it will be great. However, there is one thing that could happen that could increase the quality of players at the showdown. If Competitor has a showdown ladder on it and is released before the showdown takes place I think when the time comes for people to practice for the showdown they will be able to get much more practice and be better prepared. For those of you who haven't played shoddy battle, you can play five 6v6 singles matches on there in the amount of time it takes to play one 6v6 match on Wi-Fi(Which is why many more people play shoddy over wi-fi). being able to play that many matches in such a short amount of time enables you to gain enough experience for doubles, and perfect your team. Last year, I played 2 practice matches with the exact team I used in NY, and only 10 mtches altogether. If I was able to test using shoddy, I probably would have had hundreds of practice matches and with many different teams, and I'm sure many others would have done the same thing.

I do think that a lot of people will use Knight Sylvane's team, Izuru's team, and Chris Halordain's team, simply because there is footage of there matches on youtube that people will know about, and if they don't have much doubles experience, they will copy a team that has proven to be successful and hope that their battling skill is good enough to carry them through the tournament(I have first hand experience with this, since I tried out a lot of different versions of TR, and decided that I should just use Izuru's team so I coppied his team but changed some of the movesets). I also think Heatran will be very popular in the US due to it being Lv.50 and people who are inexperienced thinking, "Heatran is amazing in singles, is a ledgendary that is now usable, has great typing, and has great special attack. It must be godly in doubles!"

Lastly, to answer your question Haku, Bronzong, Metagross, Snorlax(hmm, that's 3/4 of a familiar team already...) and Scizor all do very good jobs beating Latios(Metagross can take HP Ground handily and MM and Bullet punch do a number on Latios). Timid is better only if you're scared of other Kingdra. Otherwise Modest is better for the extra power.

tl;dr, The US metagame will be different than the Japanese metagame.

lol, i loved the read. =D and sadly yes, everyone is going to copy the champions team wich is fine with me cause it'll be easier to counter now that we have more time seeing how most of these teams work.

lol, on the heatran explanation

I hope they would have a Pokemon tournament every year, or more often, like in Japan. I just wanted to ask you guys though... what do you worry about with your team? For me, it's Abomasnow, it can rip through my team, along with Heatran.

I've been experimenting with a trick room/sandstorm team recently, and it has been a lot of success. Which the basic strategy entails setting up the sandstorm, setting up a light screen since the only auto sand streamer, Hippowdon, has relatively low special defense, then I blow up, and sweep the rest of the team. I've played about 5 matches with this team, and have won every single one, albeit it was against single-bots... I hope showdown is full of single-bots, then it'd be quite easy to advance to the finals in Orlando.

Sorry, I'm out of the loop. Why exactly are people using HP Ground Latios these days? Is it exclusively for Heatran?
I think it's just as a filler move, since it can 2hko Metagross which T-Bolt can't do. And it can hit Heatran like you said. Also, it's really easy to get a Timid HP:Ground Latios in emerald due to the way the RNG works.

well if it is so easy can you tell me how to get one cause i keep trying and keep failing. im doing at the right time 2:02 but not one timid natured one?

It's not so easy. He's timed it around 2:02 but you have to get it on a specific hundredth of a second, too. It would help a lot if someone told us what it was.

There's supposed to be a list of the sets of IVs\natures and what frame* they're generated in, but I don't know where to find it.

*(1 frame = 1 60th of a second)

so your telling me i just have to keep trying it util i get it cause its in the 100th place after 2:02.

for example

my last time was 2:02.126

iv been using this http://www.online-stopwatch.com/

also is there a better one than this, that i can use?

Try using a real stopwatch. Hold down the B, Start and Select buttons at the same them then use the start button on the stopwatch to press A. This starts the stopwatch at the same time the game is reset.

I used that same online stopwatch so it works fine. You have to do it at around 2:01:800 because if you multiply the frame# by 1/60, you'll get that number. Then just use trial and error. If you time it at 2:01:900, and you notice that you got a pokemon who is in the list earlier than the timid hp:ground Latios, then it's just your reaction time that's a little off, so change the time you're aiming to get to adjust your reaction time. I got mine weeks ago, so I forget exactly what time I got mine at, but it was definitely less than 2:02.

I agree, the online stopwatch is perfectly fine, I use it for all my Emerald RNG breeding, hasn't been that off at all.

you could have told me that hours ago iv been ranting on with a guy in the RNG section on the wifi page.lol now that i know how it works with the one online then im going to try again. anyways my team is still being put under construction for sure its going to be a Goodstuff team. so far im still breeding for a Brave snorlax and beldum all thanks to micuats for providing the parents. i already got a good Zapdos from my LG a long time ago. and finally as everyone know im still SRing for a Timid Latios with Hp-Ground.

Is this what you're looking for? It's a spreadsheet of all frames 7210-7360 and the nature/IV's/HP associated with them. It's designed specifically for Latios hunting, but the IV spreads and so on should be the same no matter what you're SRing for.

Dont man, thats not what you're aiming for. Isnt it the TimGro70 one you want?
P.S. i got TimGro70 from era404's utube video lol.
