Yeah, don't know what to tell you. If it wasn't reintroduced in ORAS, I'd really doubt that it's going to get reintroduced this generation. They'd have to have one attached to an event mon at this point. There's precedence for this technically, but then again every generation that had event mons with mail also had mail in-game, so...ah rip. And Mail? Unreleased apparantly :(
They were removed as an item from the game. They're likely still in the source code in the same way the HGSS Apricorn Balls are; just don't expect it back any time soon.ah rip. And Mail? Unreleased apparantly :(
Well, if you've tried it (something unique) out and it was proven successful, it's a creative set. If it only has writings and well...theories on how it may work, then it's a theory set.Quick question. What makes a pokemon set I made a Thoery Set and not a Creative Set?
The difference can be a bit subjective. The best way to prove it as a creative set is to provide replays of it in action, since once you show proof of it working, it ceases to be theory rather than a unique set supported by evidence.Quick question. What makes a pokemon set I made a Thoery Set and not a Creative Set?
I think they removed that feature D:
Both have their selling points. Hippowdon is better if you're looking for a wall, while Tyranitar has more of an offensive presence, being able to trap and lure specific threats. Ultimately it boils down to what the rest of the team needs. Is one of Tyranitar or Hippowdon "better" for sand teams?
What's the difference between sand offense and sand balance?
If you want to use a Sand team, you REALLY will need to consider including Excadrill. With Sand Rush, Excadrill makes for the fastest and arguably best win condition for the playstyle.I wanted a little help with an sand team i want to build, this are the pokes i wanted to go with
Hippowdon (physical wall+sand setter)
Assault vest tyranitar (speciel wall+sand setter)
These two are the best to set sand (if you have more pokes to recomend just rell me)
Mega garchomp (wall breaker)
Alakazam (speciel attacker+magic giurd that keeps him safe from sand damage)
Clefable( physical wall+cleric that will run wish and heall bell to support the team+not effected from sand because of magic guard)
And for the final place i think of two pokes mandibuzz or empolion that can be walls and set defog.
My bad thoughts on this team is the lack of steel coverege, team without a piorty user and slow attackers ( except for alakazam)
What are you think?
the rmt thread is more used for this however your team has many issues as it uses AV tar, which is bad in itself, having no reliable recovery and all while already having an AV in sand+rock typing, and both being utterly destroyed by azu/keldeo/manaphy. Excadrill SHOULD be used on sand teams. I could also suggest replacing mega garchomp with mega altaria for reasons to maintain coverage/defensive synergy. This would allow you to replace clef for something like ferro for better synergy, especially against rain teams.I wanted a little help with an sand team i want to build, this are the pokes i wanted to go with

Mega Pinsir commonly runs Swords Dance / Return / Quick Attack / Close Combat or Earthquake with a Jolly nature. It fits nicely with Pokemon such as Latios (Defogger, and can lure in Metagross and KO with Shadow Ball too and it deals with Rotom-W and Slowbro nicely, and loves Celebi gone), Latias (same as Latios but also provides Healing Wish support), Starmie (beats stuff like Diancie and lures in Rotom-W and KOes with Psychic and spins too), Staraptor (wearing down their checks, Staraptor deals with stuff like Rotom-W and Zapdos too, Pokemon Pinsir struggle with). If you want more information on what are good partners, check out the matchmaking thread.
Mega Aerodactyl just runs max max (or run 248 Atk / 44 Def / 216 Spe to avoid 2hko from CB Talonflame's Brave Bird, but not tying with mega aero and alakazam is kinda bad, and CB talonflame isn't great). Stone Edge, Aqua Tail, Aerial Ace, filler (something like firefang, earthquake, or taunt)
Yes, that is correct, lead with the Pokemon with the biggest threat, or try to counter-lead their lead.
You really need a stallbreaker to beat Stall. Fitting stallbreakers on offense isn't hard, there are plenty of good stallbreakers such as Mega Gardevoir, Gengar, Landorus, Manaphy, and Thundurus. Pokemon with Taunt or Knock Off are especially troubling for stall, so keep that in mind. Stall is on a decline, so I wouldn't worry too much about the playstyle as a whole, but a stallbreaker is nice on every team.
Tours are posted in the 'tournaments' section, and sign-up when they are uh... eligible for sign-ups.
Ah thx alot dude. And absol is cool
Oh and is bulky helmet chomp enough to handle talonflame and bisharp?
Okay, but i guess only one setter is a bit of risk no? And what do you think about the other members of the team?mega chomp is a good choice here to right? If you want to use a Sand team, you REALLY will need to consider including Excadrill. Also, despite how it may seem, I'd argue to drop Tyranitar or Hippowdon for something else. Multiple setters might seem ideal, but it REALLY gives you issues with synergy since both Pokemon will hate Water and Grass, not to mention Ice runs over Hippo and Garchomp, or Fighting giving trouble to Excadrill and T-Tar if run.
Manaphy in particular could give you trouble since he can cover a lot of the above coverage, cancel your Sand with RD sets, or boost and run through your team with Scald.
But mega altaria will take damage from the sand so it's a problem, and i wanted the clef to support tyranitar with his fighting flaw and it can be a clericthe rmt thread is more used for this however your team has many issues as it uses AV tar, which is bad in itself, having no reliable recovery and all while already having an AV in sand+rock typing, and both being utterly destroyed by azu/keldeo/manaphy. I wanted to use mega chomp since in sand he is really lethal, and i chose tyranitar only because he can set sand,if i will be able to find another poke to set sand i will use him but if not i willput something to support my teamTaking damage from sandstorm isn't a problem. Mega Altaria fits quite nicely on sand, as it deals with common threats to sand such as Keldeo, Manaphy, and Serperior (actually Water- and Grass-types in general), and also rain as a playstyle too. Assault Vest Tyranitar is not that great, it has a subpar defensive typing and the absence of Choice Scarf giving it Speed, Smooth Rock to replenish sand turns, Choice Band for power, and Leftovers for recovery is sorely missed. It's also extremely niche and only deals with select special attackers.
hippowdon is a bulky sand setter that can be a nice tank.I wanted to use mega chomp since in sand he is really lethal, and i chose tyranitar only because he can set sand,if i will be able to find another poke to set sand i will use him but if not i willput something to support my team
Yes i know that, but i dont know what other choices i have, i need your help herehippowdon is a bulky sand setter that can be a nice tank.
