Alright, thanks! jw, what Chomp are you referring to?
Scarfchomp can give that core trouble if it predicts properly, e.g. you predict D-claw and it EQs your T-tar/Mawile on the switch in. It won't necessarily OHKO, but it will severely cripple whichever it is (and of course, you'll have to switch to Dnite afterward to avoid the 2HKO). Same deal for dragonite on a dragon claw.

LO Chomp can OHKO any of those three pokemon (except Dnite with multiscale up), and of course can change moves as it needs to. But, it won't be able to come in on +1 Dnite and threaten to outspeed like Scarfchomp, so there's that. It doesn't have to be a huge problem if you predict correctly, it's just that the penalty for clicking the wrong button is huge.

That said, while bold lefties Clefable is only 3HKOd by LO Chomp's EQ, it can't switch into Chomp and threaten it out because it can only 2HKO in return. But it overall takes hits from Chomp much better than your other mons, and perhaps after some life orb recoil, you could switch in and OHKO. It's really hard if not impossible to properly counter Chomp though, so Clefable seemed the best option at least until you pick more mons.

So my save file got corrupted recently, so I restarted the game, and I was wondering a few things..
1) What happened to the 100 people on my friend list?
2) Will my TSV and FC be completely different?
3) What happens to my Global Link Account, as my file will be different?

What is the best Breloom counter?
I mean, it can depend on the ability, but a main counter to Breloom is Celebi since it resists both STABs of Breloom, and cannot be effected by the Spore it so often carries. It can wall moves held by Breloom, and deliver back with Psychic if the person is so foolish enough to leave it in on Celebi. Amoonguss can pull the same thing, minus the Psychic. It's more of a check though.

Okay, with the first one: Friends you add are on the DS, not on the game itself, so those remain intact if I remember.
Second one: Same as the first with the Friend Code part, it will not change as it is part of the DS itself, not the game.
Third one: Quite certain that it will remain as well, since it is an account online but I am not certain about that one.

Ok...thanks

The first two will remain untouched, as they're part of your 3DS data. The last one will remain, but you won't be able to use it on your new save file.

Hey everyone, I'm posting once again!

Still looking at team stuff, but since this isn't really a "simple question, simple answer" kind of thing, tell me where I should post this so I can get a more accurate response. But regardless, my question is....

I'm looking to sort out a team for OU. What I have been thinking was using was Thundurus and Aegislash as my corner stone pokemon, with Charizard X thrown into the mix because mega. I also wanted to throw in Rotom-Wash to help support my Aegislash.

Now my question is, who should I fill out my team with? I was thinking Excadrill for Rapid Spin or Skarmory for Stealth Rock, or Ferrothorn/Forretress for the same reasons as the other two pokemon. I was also thinking about putting in Deoxys-Speed or Latios to deal with Mega Venasaur because I hate her (Latios was suggested to me for this, but I have a Deoxys ready, so I thought I'd just use that, but I'm not partial to either).

I'm told that my team in general was super weak to Tyranitar, so I was thinking about putting Will O Wisp on Rotom (also suggested to me) to deal with that.

Any suggestions?

Just to add on, my team looks like:
Brave Aegislash
Shadow Sneak
Sword Dance
Iron Head
XXXXX (maybe King's or Sacred Sword)

Rotom-Wash
Will o Wisp
Hydro Pump
Volt Switch
XXXXXX (no idea what to put here)

Thundurus
Thunder Wave
Thunder Bolt
Taunt
Focus Blast / Volt Switch / Nasty Plot

Charizard X
Dragon Dance
Dragon Claw
Flare Blitz
XXXXXX (Roost maybe?)

Thanks for the help everyone.

With Aegislash, you most definitely have to have King's Shield on it, otherwise it cannot function properly. With Rotom-W, you can either throw in a nice old Resto-Chesto set by making the last move Rest and giving it a Chesto Berry (Ya don't say ;p), or you can give it Pain Split and set it up with some Leftovers. Roost would also probably be the best thing for your Charizard, helps recover the HP it cannot do with a Mega Stone. You do need more Tyranitar coverage, and perhaps something to set up with. Ferrothorn can kinda check Tyranitar, as it resists the whole Rock aspect of it, and can destroy souls with either Gyro Ball or Power Whip, while also being able to set up Stealth Rocks and gradually whittle away at the opposing team.

I've got a marill at the moment, but i want to ev to a choice band bulid,i'm gunna put 252 in attack, but i'm unsure in regards to how much speed it needs and how much i can put in HP?

What would a good Garchomp check be for a Bulky Offensive-ish build. So far I've lead Tar, DDNite, SubPunch M-Mawile, and cleric Clefable, and Garchomp seems to be a weakness. Would Noivern be useful?

Noivern is okay, but there are other, more generally viable checks like Greninja, Lati@s, and Azumarill.

.......what with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire on the horizon, with them comes the return of old Pokemon. For me, that means my favorites; Regirock, Regice, Registeel, and possibly Regigigas. Since it is a remake, it isn't far-fetched (NO PUNS INTENDED) to think that maybe they'll remake something about the Regis, right?

So...the reason the main Regis are so low-tier is because of their typing and movepools, and Regigigas is down there for one reason and one reason only; Slow Start. So I'm curious; what could they give to the Regis in the new games to make them higher tier, and what ability could be given to Regigigas to not only make him viable competitively, but also fit with his strategy and general theme?

I want to build a OU team around the most op pokemon, Qwilfish. What would be some good partners?

Well if you absolutely want to use Quilfish in OU then your best off putting it on a rain team to try and take advantage of its swift swim. As for partners I would say Politoed and Kabutops, or any other pokemon that function well on rain teams.

I kinda want to build a team around or with an underrated yet interesting pokemon, what would you guys suggest?

I would personally suggest one of the Regis. I love them all, but lately I've started using a Regirock in OU, and it is dominating surprisingly well. Maybe it's just the set I gave it, I dunno. All I know is that my enemies come into the battle laughing at the sight of my team, and more often than not, leave quivering in fear at the sight of any rocks on their path home.

If you want an underrated Pokemon that can be pretty surprising, you may want to try building a team around Relicanth. It has potential sweeping power, while no one suspects it. Same can be said about the Hoenn Electric Mice (Plusle/Minun). Nasty Plot w/ the typical HP Ice and Thunderbolt, perhaps a grass move for those pesky Water/Ground types we always find in OU. (;p) But for real, Relicanth has great potential sweeping power, and can work well when paired with a group of not stallers persay, but Pokemon who don't really go all out offensive. It's a tactic involving whittling down the team with hazards and statuses, and dominating with Relicanth. The only downside to it is its' less than mediocre speed, but a simple Baton Pass from a Pokemon carrying Agility, and you're set. Just watch out for those pesky Grass types. (Side note: I tried it once on a Rock Monotype team as my primary physical sweeper alongside Tyrantrum, and it pulled its' weight in normal OU battles more often than not.)
