So, uh... how does it work if you beat someone more than one spot above you?

Do you switch places with them? Are they sent down to your spot, letting you and the people between you and them move up one? Or are you jumped up all the way to them, moving them and the people between you two down?

In case that was a bit complicated, here's a diagram.

Person #4 takes on Person #1, defeating them.

Oops I should've specified, you take their place they take yours.
 
Huh? Why did I get activitied? I already played a match last week. I defended (and lost) against P2, so if I'm not mistaken, I didn't need to play Hec until this week.

That was day 1, you could've easily played another and you are expected to.

No I couldn't have, and nowhere in the rules does it say that I needed to. I played Day 1 because I was busy the rest of the week and couldn't fit in a match with Hec given our timezones. If I'd played P2 on the last day instead of the first day, would you still have given Hec activity? This is unreasonable.

As predicted, I was unable to keep my spot vs Get This Money, ggwp. Undoubtedly, I was outplayed.

I was once 2nd, though.
