It's the same as the black cloud weather effect on those rainy routes iirc. Just rare weather effects of the rain and hail. Just pretty, nothing special. But there could still be something else! (Or so I hope)

You can always search on youtube for a diamond dust video. There ought to be some online.

Yes, it is random, I've benn trying to tell this to people there but no one listens... I've got that two months ago and I'm pretty sure it's a "calendar weather" (?). Days ago, I think Jan 3rd, Route in front of the restaurant (Not Lake Acuity, before it) was dark every day. Even in the morning I could notice a BIG diference between the colors of Lake Acuity and that route.

Not confirming this, but just gessing, since it seems plausible.
