Pokémon GO

I knew it... I should have really given up hatching 10km eggs.

4 Eggs. Three of them were Jynx. Seriously, Random Number Arceus, what have I done that I deserve this....
At least the last one is a Chansey, as if RNG offered an apology with the Pokemon that is known to share happiness to sad people or Pokemon....

Yay, more Pokémon now in eggs!

Coincidentally, we had our first bout of freezing rain of the winter the other day. Every road is glazed with a thin layer of ice, and it seems the low temperatures are here to stay. It's impossible to walk anywhere whilst holding a mobile phone.

So no eggs for me...

I think Jynx is set to appear more often. On my five latest eggs, I got three Jynx as well, and four or five overall

And no apology chansey for me, the two other being low sweep Electabuzz and Magmar

Whenever I walk, I just have my phone in the pocket, you don't need your hands to hatch the eggs ;)

I thought they got rid of Jynx in eggs for Smoochum... I got Elekid in my first 10km egg in forever.
nest changes again.
so far mrked are:
Ekans (in a place that was ekans nest before it switched to bellsporut and weedle)
and Staryu..... in the old Ekans nest... Ninatic really dont like people going to nests with this selection of shite.

My brother got Electabuzz and I got Magmar. We haven't got any of the babies.

It's silly to not get rid of the Jynx, Pikachu i.e. eggs when, in game, it's impossible to get eggs for them. Give us both what's correct in-game and what we want Ninantic - those pre-evolutions in our eggs!

Did you get the eggs before the update?

Trainers,

As the year draws to a close, we want to give you a great way to celebrate the end of the year with Pokémon GO. For the next couple of weeks, you’ll have even more reason to explore the world with your friends and family while you enjoy our year-end event.

Don’t miss out on an increased chance to hatch a Togepi (and other Pokémon)! Starting the morning of December 25, 2016, and through the afternoon of January 3, 2017 (PST), PokéStops will award one single-use Incubator each day after your first Photo Disc spin. As you visit PokéStops during this time period, there will be a greater chance of finding Eggs that hatch Togepi, Pichu, and several other recently found Pokémon, originally discovered in the Johto region. Special Pikachu wearing festive hats will also be staying around a bit longer! You are more likely to find these limited-edition Pikachu during the time period of this celebration.

In addition, from the afternoon of December 30, 2016, through the afternoon of January 8, 2017 (PST), the first partner Pokémon and their Evolutions, originally discovered in the Kanto region, are more likely to be encountered. This means a greater chance to catch Bulbasaur, Ivysaur, and Venusaur, as well as Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard, plus Squirtle, Wartortle, and Blastoise! As a way to increase your chance to encounter one of these Pokémon, Lure Modules will also last for 60 minutes instead of 30 minutes.

Get up and go!

I called it :D

Was losing interest in the game, but I guess the opportunity to finally have my Charizard will get me outside again‼

we get squirltes fairly frequently, got 2 and enough candy for a 3rd... not got enough for charizard or venusaur yet.. so hopefully it doesn't just swamp me with squirtle.

A warning that those starters (including Pikachu) is _difficult_ to catch with such low catch rate. At least I managed to stock a lot of balls for such happenings, but even with around 175 Hyper Balls I'm still not sure I'll have enough. A lot of time I underestimated Pikachu and had it run away....

Great curveballs help pretty much to get them. I've practiced much, but still often miss it when it's them....

After walking 220 km with my Charmeleon, they will appear MORE ? And I have 3 candies left to go for my Wartortle to evolve in badass Blastoise :(

Is it just me or do the game crash much more frequently? Was just fracking my lucky egg last week when the game crashes on my phone, wasting about 10-15 minutes.

Crashed a few times recently.. all when setting up to level bloody gyms.. which takes ages.

And First Tangela hatched today... about time, also a Pichu

also caught 4 Bulbasaur at a small nest on the way to a Machop nest.. which was closed... seriously.. it was 4 in the afternoon... wtf. dont care it is Christmas eve, half the spawns were in that one bit I couldn't reach :(
caught a wild Magnaton and Vaporeon today, passed a Blastoise on the tram though, only starter pokemon I have seen wild.. I already have one caught, and one evolved, only other evolved starter I caught was Ivysaur.

so what will happen after christmas is... we will just have Squirtle/bulbasaur/Charmander/Pidgey/Rattata + evos everywhere :/ if it is anything like Haloween event.
I really hope Ninatic increase the drop rate of Ultra balls otherwise this will be one day, then frustration.
hopefully the nests don't suck either, will be needing those. (watch them be the usual common junk and starters...)
Rather annoying as I have found a fair few Dratini recently (2 today in the same spot 4 hours apart as well :D) missed out on another that spawned with that Vaporeon, and Dratini is sort of primary target for basics (bar the rare stuff like Snorlax/lapras/Aerodactyl obviously)
speaking of rare stuff, I have seen a fair few Omanyte recently. never seen 2 or 3 in a day before, usually 1 a month, and in a wide area as well.

I noticed that they started giving out incubators on daily Pokestop spins. Pretty neat. Still, however, not a single Togepi/Pichu gotten from eggs.

Also, level 30+ and almost six months in, still no Aerodactyl.

Same here. Zero Omastar and Aeros. The 2km eggs they gave? Zubats. Multiples of them. Yeah, the RNG hates me so much.

I didn't really notice if they change the encounter rate for starters since I still don't see them often. Santa Pikachu is everywhere though. The low catch rate for starters and Pikachu is stupid imo.

They're changing them for the next event (which should be live from today until the 8). Making them more common. Oh god Aerodactyl. I saw one in the three months i've been playing and and it got away before i could get to it. The fucker. If I never see a zubat again, i will be happy. Or an evee. Good lord those are a bloody pest where i live.

I must be in luck that the city I study in is mountain biome that houses that fossil bird, had caught at least 2. But I start to think Laplace is a myth....

Also, had two days off in a resort, I'm almost out of balls. It was really Eevee Heaven, though, so happy to add more Vapy to my team, including instant CP 2500 one.

But they and Santa chuu drained my ball supply.... caught like +50 Pikachu.

Really though, I want to live in where Eevee is pest. My endgame involves getting perfect Vaporeon, Espeon, and Sylveon years later, just like in my X / AS.

I was very thrilled to hear about the daily incubator event. A bit of a bummer that they're all single-use only. In essence, you're given one free extra egg per day, which isn't too shabby I guess.

You know Niantic, instead of introducing new Pokemon maybe you should work out this little thing that's a major part of the franchise: trading between players. Oh, and battling between players. Probably also stop being petty and implement a tracking system which tells people who got things to do where to go to get the Pokemon they just found (and make catching Pokemon reflect the games a little bit. People shouldn't be going through their supplies of Poke Ball on com mons, as for stronger Pokemon how about letting the player use that partner Pokemon you have walking with them get in a pot shot at it to weaken it).

I see trading is discussed. It's difficult due to the possible problems such as Pokémon selling. As of battling, complicated. Balance here is difficult and there are many problems such as crashing too much. Yet, I want them to fix things so this can be reality. In fact, we're yet to even see a legendary and if we can have battle against wilds, we can have event to get the legendaries like in the trailer... if I'm lucky to live in where the event happens....

On another news, I'm out from my usual town and looks like someone jacked gyms. Again.... Playing solo is hard, can be victim to the group players that works like a clan even within same team....

I probably see about 5 eevees/day and /that's/ playing super casually. Lapras is more common around water for what I know, but still one of the hardest to come by. I actually see/hear of seeing Dragonite far more often than it (saw it three times in roughly a month). Dratini is common enough too, which seems to be somewhat related to living in the coast. Snorlax though. That little bitch just won't appear.
Funniest thing the game has ever generated for me was a Ponyta. In the middle of the ria.
