Also why do people give the Kanto starts specific Grass, Fire, and Water ability's ?
Venusaur is also part Poison, it could have Poison Point or even Stench, Charizard could get something like Keen Eye or Intimidate or heck, even a new ability for all we know.

They have to go through thorough translation from Japanese to English. otherwise we'd be stuck with an engrish pokemon game where all you base are belong to us. :P
There can't be a Ground Eeveelution; all Eevee evolutions are (of the former classification denoting) 'special'-type.
Just because it hasn't been done before, doesn't mean it won't be done this generation. Although they'll probably make a Dragon type eeveelution before anything else.

As far as localization, the decision to spend time localizing a game after its initial release is entirely one of preference per company. Many Japanese companies these days have Western releases BEFORE the Japanese release, especially when the Western audience is the bigger spender. With a game like Pokemon, which still sells heavily in Japan, localization is half-assed because they don't really need to give a damn. Heavy text or voice games make localization more difficult, but not six months to a year more difficult.

If it wasn't for a few errors in the translation ('midieval', 'HM fly', 'Enigma Strike'), I'd probably believe this guy. I know everyone makes mistakes, but I'm pretty sure they'd have a length check on the move names... unless, of course, they're removing the limit (no more Fire Punch, Ice Punch, ThunderPunch?).
First off, putting aside that this is 4chan and nothing you see there can be believed, I hope you realize that this game is coming out in Japanese, not English. In other words, if you see an attack name that looks like anything but ニトロチャージ etc., then that means it's a translated name and is not subject to any English version character limits!
On the Topic of Abilities, I love how GF is giving new abilities to old Pokemon. I think every Pokemon should have two abilities anyway (except stuff like Slaking/Regigigas), there's alot of untapped creativity and potential there. One thing I always used to think was odd was that Pokemon that had two abilities could only choose one (hunting for a Rock Head Lairon in Emerald comes to mind, I spent what seemed like hours finding nothing but Sturdy ones). What if both abilities could be active at once, or at least have something like an ability tutor that lets you switch for money if you've maxed happiness or something? Could be Cool. I just keep thinking about how insane Tinted Lens/Speed Boost Yanmega would be...It would finally get the reverence it deserves! I'm guessing it may be quickly banned though.
And I'm still in awe thinking of the Indestructible force that Curse Regirock would be in a Sandstorm if it got Solid Rock. That thing would be near impossible to budge without resorting to stuff like Trick, Encore, and Phazers. Pass it an Ingrain and maybe even some screens for lol overkill and watch it 6-0 every match. I'm really hoping more Pokemon get alternate Dream World abilities, (Solid Rock Torterra? Technician Weavile?) especially all the Pressure Legendaries.

Where do you guys keep getting Grass/Electric? I know you're all dreaming when you say Grass/Dragon and Grass/Psychic make sense when you read his pokedex info, but Grass/Electric just seems so...unlikely and very out there. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to see it, but we probably won't. I guess I always see both Grass and Electric as "primary typings" (even though there really is no such thing).
As for stat spreads, I'll give it a whirl:
Grass/Psychic 78/76/76/104/84/117
Talk about troll speed. Take that Base 115s and ScarfTar! Thanks to being part Psychic he'll likely have a huge move pool that should include Calm Mind and Nasty Plot, allowing him to boost his superior offensive stat (unlike Sceptile). He should also have some flexible move sets, allowing him to evolve with the metagame.
Fire/Dark: 114/115/80/82/86/58
He's a bulky without being a wall and pretty good offensively. And after one boost from Nitro Charge he'll be faster than all +Base 110s. He looks like a good UU Scarfer to me, even though I don't play UU.
Water/Fighting: 88/101/80/82/83/101
Apparently I'm going against the grain and saying Samurotter is going to be fast. If Speed really is indicative of reaction speed, then a samurai should have a pretty big number (at least if you've seen Rurouni Kenshin). And by using a +Speed Nature and Swords Dance, he'll be rocking 602 ATK and 331 Speed- he's a weaker and slower, but bulkier with a better typing, Infernape. I think of the three, he'll be the only OU.

I think having both abilities active at the same time would be a little broken, overall. I do like the idea of switching between one or the other through some way. It would certainly save a lot of trouble at breeding. The best thing I can hope for is Dream World abilities for most pokemon that normally have only one ability. Ultimately, though, abilities should be added to pokemon as a whole. I don't want to have to get onto this Dream World every time I want a Hydration Vaporeon or something. If the alternate abilities are going to be a large part of the game, they can't have it linked with the internet. Some people do not have internet in their home that supports DS wi-fi, or internet at all, so they would be left out (Including me ):).
If Pig gets Fire/Ground it could go OU. I don't see much hope for Smugleaf though, although if all the dragons stay banned I guess it does have a chance. Especially if it gets growth and the movepool to run a good mixed set.
Miji's evo looks like a dog with hobo beard, though I like it, Tsutaja's is ok, but I was expecting better, and Pokabu's... just wow, no comment.
We still can't confirm any of the types just by the moves they have. I'm pretty sure Blissey didn't turn out part fire, electric, or ice just because of Chansey knowing Ice Beam, Flamethrower, and Thunderbolt. Although that example prob sucks, but you get the point.
