hey guyz i have a doubt, in Pokémon Platinum can we finnaly battle with someone randomly? I don´t see any point in creating wifi mini-games that are only junk when they could make a wifi mode like the one i said

Do you mean like a latter match like PBR? It will be the same thing as PBR, ubers everywhere.

Has anyone noticed that the new proffeser(which was released with the detective), has the same pants/leggings of the Team Galactic members?

Serebii said that he didn't know if either are good are evil.

Maybe the detective is after the professor, for stealing something and giving it to cyrus, which is why the story line changed from meeting one diety to all 3.

I'd only bother with random wifi battles if they at least had battletower bans, otherwise everyone will just run around with ubers teams. Even then, there would be a lot of dicks running around with wondertombs.

I have to say you guys, most of the time PBR isn't as bad for Ubers as you make it sound. Sure, Ubers are more common than they should be, but in most cases the users/abusers don't know what the hell they're doing. I'd say out of every ten matches I play, only one or two actually used Ubers (though a lot have them on their battle passes I guess). I'd say it's a bigger challenge to find a good match than to find one without Ubers, which could be the problem should Platinum have random battling.

Well than maybe I'm unlucky.
7/10 Have UBERs in team
7/10 Use ubers against me
10/10 Use Darkrai w/darkvoid(as in every team with an uber pokemon, has a darkrai)

I think the Noobs are catching on. Scarf'd Darkvoids are flying around everywere. The worst part is they always make ALL my pokemon fall to sleep, and they stay asleep for 5 turns, most of them, since they usually get KO'd by then.

PBR wasn't too bad, some uber users knew what they were doing, and there were many players with skill unparalleled outside of there. The problem was digging through the crap to get one or two quality battles.

The most important thing Nintendo does is establish some kind of reward at the end of the wifi battle that encourages people to NOT disconnect. Battle Passes were that motivation in PBR, and collecting enough of them to get something (And that took a WHILE, many people were stingy about letting theirs go, and you might face the same person two or three times in a row).

Yeah, I think you may just be unlucky, jujuomi, I haven't encountered Ubers with the same frequency that you do, and when I do encounter Ubers, I find it's usually Kyogre, Mewtwo, and Darkrai (like you mentioned).

Also, on Battle Passes and such I have been fortunate enough to only encounter a few disconnectors, usually right after they lose or sometimes really bad hax (I froze someone's Hippowdon on turn 1 once, so they disconnected). However, again using the out of ten scale, I find that only maybe one of ten actually accepted my Battle Pass, and I ask for them after most every battle (it seems like common courtesy; I simply delete the ones I don't need). So it seems Ashenlock and I had similar experiences there.

Maybe you could be given a small monetary reward after the battle, whether you win or lose? Like maybe you could get 3000 Pokémon Dollars for winning, and 1500 for a loss. It's probably not something they'll implement, but it's a nice reward, and not game-breaking in the least (around the same as some in-game trainers). Mind, it's not something everyone needs or cares about, but neither are Battle Passes in PBR really.

Does anyone else want to know what is behind most of those doors in the pokemon mansion. (the mansion infront of the thropy garden.) 2 maids on opposite side are blocking doors. Not even walk through walls AR code works. I want some development on that.

I DEMAND DEVOLPMENT!

Seconded, even though we probably will never know(just like Diglett/Dugtrio).

Actually it stated in Serebii already that the Detective is indeed good, and likes to wear disguises. I forgot when I saw it on Serebii, but I am sure I read it there.

I've payed close attention to the updates. Unless I missed something. On the "release" of the two characters he claimed he didn't know if either was good or bad. Maybe he did reveal that the detective is good.

Pokebeach is better for info IMO. Serebii is usually a little late, and he leaves things out frequently and sometimes poses his opinion as fact.

Serebii always explains his stuff, but I've never seen him show unconfirmed info as fact. But I'll just stick to reading both from now on.

IIRC he said that the blog was useually 80% and to believe at your own will.

I think he did say something about pre-ordering, but he also said “might need to pre-order”. If you pay attention, he never really claims anything as fact.
