If you haven't gone on there, go now. We get to see Giratina fight Dialga as a video, not simply just a picture. Dialga's front animation is shown, as well as Giratina's back animation. They also said something about Giratina's speed and Carbos but my Japanese is extremely limited so it'd be nice if someone can translate it.
Secondly, some further details about the WiFi Room. Firstly, it appears you can only spend a certain amount of time in it each day.

It's not loading for me for some reason :\
Maybe this means they are trying to reduce lag (does DS Wi-Fi even lag?) which is allright I guess, but limited time a day sucks.
Yeah, it's Seed Bomb.It loaded for me and I watched it, very cool :)
What was the attack Pachirisu used though? It looked like Seed Bomb...
The map behind that video is the Platinum map, as evident by the revised Galactic Building in Veilstone City. Did anyone see anything interesting before the video loaded over the background?
It didn't load for me either. So I downloaded it via real player. Does youtube allow users to upload .flv files?
It looks like it's from DiamondI see Dialga's level 50 outside of the battle as well (I don't think it was Wifi anyway because of the bar design) which means it was either traded from Diamond or else Dialga is caught at level 50 or lower in Platinum
After watching how much damage Mud Slap did to dialga, i went to metalkids calc to try and figure out giratina's attack. I came up with something really surprising. First i estimated that dialga took about 5% or more damage so i entred dialga;s stats that they show in the video and did calculations by using the stat option and adjusting giratinas attack until the damage came to 5%. according to the calc, ether this guy had a really shitty giratina or giratina has a SA base stat of around 30. If you use 55 SA for giratina, it will do about 6-7% damage to dialga so Origion form giratina might be physically oriented.
In D/P the HP bar is a bit deceptive-when in reality you're at 50% the HP bar makes it seem like you have less. The same could apply to Platinum as well.
A better calc would be how much Outrage did to Dialga. Although the results still won't be accurate, the larger damage can help predict the base attack stat better. The video showed Outrage doing about or nearly 50% to Dialga (Dialga ate an Outrage after eating two mud slaps, but it isn't shown in the video. The video only showed the finishing blow. It looks unlikely that Giratina threw two Outrages at Dialga before the final hit considering its base power and Dialga's 126 Defense and 167 HP).
Either way all of these are simply speculations and there's nothing we can do about it until information is released.
No, not really.~ what moveset giratina will have after its capture
i never thought of outrage as a possibility since giratina could kept mudslaping it but i think your right since after eating 2 mudslaps the speaker talks about using 120 base power outrage. Also 125 AT stat(not Base Stat) does do 41%-49% damage to dialga with outrage so i think its safe to assume they're just going to switch the stats like AninyOuse postedIn D/P the HP bar is a bit deceptive-when in reality you're at 50% the HP bar makes it seem like you have less. Thats what I meantNo, not really.
The Pokemon Festa 2008 video showed a Wild Origin Giratina using Shadow Force. If I were to take a guess:
1) Mud Slap, Outrage and Spite are all level up moves for Giratina. The thing said something about leveling and learning it naturally(translation needed)
2) Shadow Force is replaced by Protect. It is stated on the video that a TM was used to get it
what i wonder is how Pachirisu learnt Seed Bomb and how Croagunk gets Gunk Shut.
im thinking, they might be a tutor moves
