I don't know about you guys, but this would be pretty annoying to fight in Ubers:

SF might be excessive on the set, but its just another way to siphon PP off. You could use Toxic too, I suppose. Combine with TSpikes Forry and watch your foes lose all ability to damage Giratina effectively.

Hahaha, yeah right. Remember Crystal version? It's not unheard of to give a bunch of random pokemon new level-up moves.
Pachirisu gets Seed Bomb because squirrels carry nuts and seeds around with them all the time. Crogunk gets Gunk Shot because Game Freak loves Crogunk, and so do lots of other people. Simple as that.
Tutor moves have never been random normal attacks. They are rare, exclusive attacks or old TMs.
I'd expect a lot more of these new, random moves will show up and shake things up a bit in the near future.
I agree with this post. Kirlia/mr.mime got magical leaf when LG came out, and a bunch of other pokemon got random moves.
I don't see why seedbomb would be a MT. Though it would allow t-punch/seed bomb cacturne lol.
If it gets DD it will w/out a doubt be ubers.
Hey, in jujuomi's uploaded video, try to pause it at 2:06. You'll see both male trainers facing each other before sending out their pokémon. The opponent isn't wearing the blue coat; it seems to be a, huh, tuxedo? I'm not sure. But it might mean we'll now have customizable sprites.
Either that or it's just a copycat.

Anyone else plan on importing the game when it comes out?
I could understand importing D/P two years ago, sure, when it was brand new and we knew we'd have to wait so long to get it in English and EVERYTHING was so ZOMG NEW.
Now, with Platinum, we're getting a lot of neat-o improvements and a revamped story, along with some alternate forms and some new movesets.
Basically, every "3d game" ever.
I just can't see paying top dollar for a Japanese copy of a game that features 90% of the content you already own in English. There is no rush, to me, to own this. It will come, it will be good, and you'll get to understand everything. This, coming from a guy who imported Pearl the first week it came out.
Plus, unless you have a lot of connections, you might miss out on some rare stuff. All the official promotions won't be compatible with a Japanese copy! That means you might possibly miss out on the free Regis, Shaymin or "Rotom."

A random request here. Anybody got a download of the official art of every pokemon? Or at least all the DPP pokemon?
It's a copycat, the blue coat just appears to be darker, probably due to its perspective.
Official Art? Are you referring to sugimori? I'm not sure anyone has them.
They were in 3D in D/P as well, unless I'm missing something.
Is that a new animation for Gunk Shot?

These are referred to as sugimori art, since sugimori is the one who drew all of those. Next time keep in mind sugimori art = official art. Sugimori does some of the pokemon episodes, but other people do it too since it would be too much work for him. Also all the pokemon game boxes were drawn by him.
