Objection, didnt your Riddle have more than 1 answer? I mean, there are 3 different possible and real scenarios that can happen.

It cant be Specsvaporeon, and vappy cant hit Gyara so hard with water pulse/signal beam
The same applyes to mantine
I think Poliwrath is the answer, with dynamic punch, as they said.

Well it can't be Lapras, Mantine, Poliwrath, Politoad, Quasire or Vaporeon...

X = Dewgong w/ Hydration?
?? = Dewgong was cleared of Poison (or w/e it says)

Or it could be Phione...

X = Ludicolo

EDIT: Damn, forgot about poison damage...

X = Ludicolo

EDIT: Damn, forgot about poison damage...
It's either Dewgong or Phione. Once Rain Dance is used, the Toxic damage goes missing. Since Hydration clears status when it's raining, and they're the only two with the ability in UU/NU, it's either of those.

Dewgong can't inflict 8% to Ludicolo with Surf outside of rain or 12% inside it. It has to be Phione.

However, there's no "It's not very effective" message after Ludicolo used Surf--that implies X is neutral to Surf, which would eliminate Phione...

I still say it is Phione, though. I guess Dogfish forgot that line. It's impossible for any Pokemon to fit the conditions for X without it.

EDIT: Then that would make Y% equal to anywhere from 28-33%, probably 30%.

Something using Roll Out. Is the ?? a Focus Sash activating?

Another UU battle! No NFEs are used here, although I'm not sure how important that is to know.

Hitmonlee used X!
A lost 73% of its health.
A used Y!

A's Leftovers restored its health a little!
A restored 6% of its health.

Hitmonlee lost 25% of its health.
A fainted!
TotalPotato sent in Farfetch'd!

Farfetch'd lost 10% of its health.

Hitmonlee used X!
It doesn't affect Farfetch'd...
Farfetch'd used Return!
Hitmonlee lost 5% of its health.
Hitmonlee fainted!
Farfetch'd lost 10% of its health.

Your task is to find out what Pokémon A is, and what moves X, Y and Z are. I believe there's only one solution.

EDIT: I decided to reveal Hitmonlee, since it requires a bunch of damage calculations to work it out, so I decided that hiding it had been a bad idea.

Ok im pretty sure that A is Banette (Frisk), move Y is Curse (25% damage when A fainted), move X is Earthquake i think, or any other Ground type move. I cant know what pokemon is B, because a lot of pokemons are affected by Curse, while being neutral to Normal and can use EQ.

Btw, how can a choice pokemon use move "X" and then use move "Z"? I dont get that part.

Curse damage happens at the end of a turn, and there'd be a message saying "B is afflicted by the Curse!". Also, the damage would carry on after switching Farfetch'd in. Good try, though.

This could have been a number of things using Rollout and holding Focus Sash.

Your task is to find out what Pokémon A is, and what moves X, Y and Z are. I believe there's only one solution.
A must be Banette, seeing as it has Frisk.

I guess the fact that 'Lee is able to switch moves later on means that move Y is Knock Off (A keeps Leftovers recovery, removing the possibility of Trick/Thief).

But then the 25% Recoil makes me think that it must be using Struggle...

Ah give me a minute...

Move Y must be Torment, so after using move X, it has to use move Z (Struggle) and takes the 25% recoil.

Is X Earthquake? It can't be a Ghost move, or it would be SE on Banette and as it doesn't effect Farfetched I'm just guessing with the most used Ground Type move.

So to finalise -
A - Banette
X - Earthquake
Y - Torment
Z - Struggle

Well, Stantler also has Frisk. Could it perhaps be...

A - Stantler
X - Earthquake
Y - Knock Off
Z - Double-Edge

I have no idea why Double Edge would do 25% recoil when it only did 33% damage, but it's the only other scenario I can think of...

A - Stantler
X - Earthquake
Y - Imprison
Z - Struggle

Has to be Stantler because Banette doesn't get EQ and Hitmonlee doesn't get any ground moves that Banette gets.

That's a great riddle by the way, it took me forever. I'm right, right? Haha.

Your task is to find out what Pokémon A is, and what moves X, Y and Z are. I believe there's only one solution.
A is either Banette or Stantler, as they are the only FE Pokemon with Frisk.

Farfetch'd is immune to move X. This makes it Ghost- or Ground-Type. However, Ghost hits neither Banette or Stantler for SE damage, so X is Ground-Type. Earthquake and Mud Slap are the only Ground moves Hitmonlee can learn. Thus, the move is Earthquake, as Banette's accuracy was not lowered.

Hitmonlee lost 25% of its health after using move Z. Neither Stantler nor Banette has enough HP to cause this through recoil. Further, Banette is immune to all of Hitmonlee's recoil attacks. This means that move Z is Struggle.

Since Hitmonlee used Struggle after move X was used, but was able to use it again later, move Y must have been Torment.

Of Stantler and Banette, only Banette learns Torment. So the answer is...

A: Banette
X: Earthquake
Y: Torment
Z: Struggle

You had me going there for a while thinking Y was Embargo, but again, allowing Hitmonlee to switch moves doesn't allow for the 25% recoil.

EDIT: Damn...thought Torment ended when the user switched out as well. A Stantler/Y Imprison is probably correct.

A - Stantler
X - Earthquake
Y - Imprison
Z - Struggle

Has to be Stantler because Banette doesn't get EQ and Hitmonlee doesn't get any ground moves that Banette gets.

That's a great riddle by the way, it took me forever. I'm right, right? Haha.
You're right, Diesel! And thanks for the compliment!

You're not quite right. If Y was Torment, Hitmonlee would use Z on its second turn against Farfetch'd rather than X.
Yeah I did notice that, but thought that Torment wouldn't have had an effect when Farfetched was in, seeing as Earthquake technically didn't work, so might have meant that it could have been used again.

But alas, it looks like Diesel is right (I think), though I guess Imprison could have some crazy small-print rules that none of us know about.

Ah well, amazing riddle by the way, it had me enthralled :)
