From the beginning, I have theorized that the Ultra Beasts' star spread would not be dissimilar to something called Zero Bonéka from a hack called Touhoumon: Another World (and World Link). Differences, of course, being that they don't get to be used by every boss Trainer, and they don't have a 990 BST. Where they are similar...Scary in the highest stats. The difference is all of them get the equivalent to Moxie with their best stats. Hello, Ubers. You have new guests (unless of course other factors like, say, a Poison/Rock typing, prove crippling)...

It's the Ultra Beasts. Buzzwole is "Expansion".

Also, Mantine got +20 HP and Roost, granting it far more viability.

But who cares about that when DELIBIRD GETS AURORA VEIL! And it gets Drill Peck at Level 25, so not just Present!

HOLD UP MANTINE GOT ROOST? ACTUALLY VIABLE WITH THE HP BUFF.

KNOCK OFF NERFED TO 45.

HAHAHAHAH YESSSSS

That means the "initial" BP right?

Did they nerf unaware? In the second "ingame stats and moves" video under Pyukumuku it says "when attacking ignore target pokemon stat changes". If that description is correct it now only works when attacking and that would sad for poor Quagsire.

Wow, these last two gens have just been out to nerf stuff. Anyway, is there any word on whether new abilities will override the old ones when Bank arrives?

Minior is actually disgusting. Shell smash, an ability that gives him the bulk to tank a hit for one turn and then after taking the hit he gains speed and offenses. Doesn't have the widest movepool but has all of the coverage he needs on both the physical and special side of the equation.

They should.

Scolipede's Hidden Ability was overriden when transferring from Gen V to Gen VI, IIRC.

It seems Self-Destruct and Explosion become the normal Z-Move, at only 200 power.
Marshadow and Mew both get unique Z-Moves, and Mew's Z-Move not only has 185 power, but also seems to set Psychic Terrain. omg.
Alolan Raichu's Z-Move has 175 BP and paralyses the target.

I love how they are improving the "underwhelming types" in Psychic and Ice. We've got Bruxish, Psychic Terrain, Slush Rush, and Snow Warning Aurora Veil Ninetales. I feel like they're trying to hype Hail and all the new terrains this generation, which is cool.

Also, it looks like they did a Zapdos to our legendary beasts: tease a powerful ability then change it just before releasing them.
