Two things:
1. You don't necessarily need to make a game as expensive as being 10 USD more. For instance, huge titles like this and buying cartridges in massive bulk, you have cheaper prices compared to other smaller companies with indie games buying a handful (comparatively). Not to mention the Pokemon Company is the one deciding the official selling price.
2. A game being 10 dollar cheaper wouldn't make it much competitive if people refused to buy it or have second thoughts (though unlikely since it's Pokémon) due to negative controversies. It makes no good if people have to seriously consider if they are buying or not.

And that it's still theory if these HD models do have to take up so much cartridge space which I have serious doubt about that. 3DS models all have higher definitions than the console can handle and that didn't balloon up into insane sizes either.
Did you even read the article? If the models are more detailed (more polygons), that means that they take up much more space. Add in higher definition textures and 60 FPS (assumedly) and it is getting big. If let’s go is sitting at 8+ gb with 151 revamped models, twice that of USUM’s file size, it’s not farfetched to assume that all 1000 would be a pretty large file size.
$70 is a pretty big gamble to price your game at, not to mention the games would still likely have to be delayed in order to get all of the mons in, which creates even more missed potential profits. Losing an insignificant fraction of the player base (hardcore fans) is much less lost cash in the long run

Teatime is a perfect troll move for doubles/VGC but it could also serve as a good utility move to raise stats on your side with the right berry.

I don’t know what the deal with Mr. Rime is. He has a horrible stat distribution (~Sp.A. and less Speed than Kanto Mime but also way more Atk) and an ability that seems to hinder teams that would want to run it. Honestly feel like evoilite Mr. Mime-G is going to see way more use.

Rapidash-G seems to have similar stats to Kanto Rapidash, with a much worse ability. I don’t see this thing learning Zen Headbutt so it better get a new physical Psychic move.

Morpeko

6.6 lbs
Full Belly Mode
It carries electrically roasted seeds with it as if they're precious treasures. No matter how much it eats, it always gets hungry again in short order.

Hangry Mode
Hunger hormones affect its temperament. Until its hunger is appeased, it gets up to all manner of evil deeds.

I read it. And I think what it proposed is dumb since that would be impossibly stupid on the PM company's part.

And at the absolute worst, GF can just pull out the same trick as 2K18 - the game would run just fine but the full details are unavailable unless you download the some few dozen GB day zero update pack and sell it as a "super HD pack". So that you technically don't sell it in a more expensive price but the consumers still have to pay anyway

The one with the best drumming techniques becomes the boss of the troop. It has a gentle disposition and values harmony among its group.

Pokemon let's Go is only 4 gb. You could easily fit all the Pokemon in a Kanto-sized region and still stay within the 32 gb limit. Even if the game costs 10 dollars more it's a Pokemon game lol it would sell regardless.

Polteageist stat range. It's Modest and at level 35. Due to the low level, the range is wider than what we're used to.

HP: 58-74
Atk: 53-68
Def: 55-71
SpA: 128-144
SpD: 104-119
Spe: 58-73

lol why the hell does Poletageist have that much SpA. Not impressed otherwise, but thats pretty weird!

Mr. Rime's stats are so awful, jfc. It's practically a downgrade to the original Mr. Mime, since while it gets a slight boost to HP, Defense and Sp. Attack (and a pretty pointless boost to Attack), it lost points in both Sp. Defense and Speed. Can't see this thing having much use with such a middling Speed stat and a terrible defensive typing.

Does this mean K-Mr.Mime can use Eviolite? It still won't be good but... it's something.

If its speed is closer to the higher end of that range, and if has a way to hit Dark types, and maybe even has a boosting move, then I could see Polteageist being scary. Give that baby a Focus Sash, eat a Knock Off or Pursuit, get your +2 from Weak Armor, and hope your opponent doesn't have any priority to stop your sweep.

If it gets Endure, then that's even better. It'll let it run Weakness Policy instead of Focus Sash, and it lets it stall out an opposing Dynamax.

You gain:

200 W for Normal Spots
2000 W for Bright Spots

New bright spots every day.

You can spend the Wishing Piece for a new bright spot.

He has not found Gigantamax raids at all, which probably confirms they're an online only thing.

You can bring Eternatus to these battles.

He searched, but leaker has not found an obvious co-op option in the Battle Tower.

Well that's rather disappointing. Infact I'd say it defeats the whole purpose of the growing big visual if the Pokemon doesn't even become stronger.

Sorry I care about the franchise and I don't want to see if go through mechanical bloat.

....you want the pokemon's stats to increase along side all of its moves becoming accurate fire blast levels of strength (at least)?

You want the whole Dex in ubers or???

Wait I thought Steelix wasn't in this game?

Could dexit have been less damaging than we thought? Am I missing something?

Everybody gets shrunk for camp. They get shrunk in battle as well. At least the overworld has them properly sized.
now now don't ruin my little gorgeous guy.

That said... you people can hate on the designs as much as you want, but Mr Rime walking around with Polteageist near him in camp are english a f, i love them <3
