clefable has magic guard wich makes her immune to hazards and status.
it only works one time but you don't need Rapid Spin support if you use her.
The problem with Aron is that Hail does damage, as does Burn, Pain Split, Leech Seed, Nightmare, Curse, etc.
You know, Clefable learns Magic Coat in Gen. 4. So it has another advantage over Aron. It can bounce back Stealth Rock, Taunt, Encore, Spike, Toxic Spike, Whirlwind, Roar, etc.
Clefable also gets Recycle, so if you Leech Seed a foe, and then switch to Clefable safely through a stat up/non-damaging move, then it can use Recycle to stall with Leech Seed healing it. (You don't want to use Endeavor with Leech Seed because it will then kill the foe, but only heal you 1 HP, so it is best to just Recycle as Leech Seed does the damage) repeatedly.

I can confirm they are in fact timed. Battles can last only/up to 59 minutes.
Oh god, I actually faced one of these Probopasses. The thing had Toxic Spikes support, and there was literally nothing I could do because the Steels on my team were dead, and I had nothing to Burn it with (even if I did, it could just Magic Coat the Will-O-Wisp back at me while Toxic eats away at my health).
This thing is a massive pest. With Toxic Spikes it's absolutely evil.
However, since Probopass is awesome, I'm proud to say that I got my ass handed to me by baby Mario. This fucker doesn't even need Yoshi.

I encountered one of these on PO. I took it down fairly easily using boiling water.
When I was facing one it was brought out end game... Let's just say this...

I tried this set out a while ago with tspikes and sand (and wish) support, and loved it. Except I used protect over taunt, since my prediction isnt as good and i consider getting taunted or burned or such not as bad as 1 big misprediction (ie they attack instead of taunting) and at least it adds toxic/spikes damage. also if you manage to keep enough layers off the field it checks any non-steel/rock/ground not hit by toxic spikes
problem is if you switch it in on 1 layer of spikes, this thing gets destroyed. It cannot finish off sand resisters, so you should be packing priority.

IMO Probopass seems to rely on a whole shitload of prediction, and if you are interested in a FEAR user Aron is better, but has more counters. When played right though Probobass is a son-of-a-b****.
