Proposal Quick Claw in ADV OU

After some discussions with the community, we have made a survey for a Quick Claw ban in the tier. We believe the item to be uncompetitive due to the lack of activation message and its random-based chance. The ability to suddenly be able to outspeed mons with no way to truly predict or be able to scout it is extremely cheesy. We have compiled some replays in hopes of better demonstrating our points:

Voting yes. Several other OU tiers have killed it. Many side ADV OU tours already ban it (including revival/jimvite and mushi league)

20% proc is high enough to be viable and worth running in some cases. It's uncompetitive for obvious reasons; I'd argue even moreso than in tiers where choice scarf exists.

It's banned in DPP, BW and ORAS, basically any gen where people bother to use it, it gets banned shortly afterwards. It's especially stupid in ADV since it doesn't proc in the chat. 0 upside in keeping it.

Ban it. Mag teams are strong in 2026, one of the best ways to KO mag after a trap is to use pokemon like Dugtrio or Mence to revenge and QC Mag can cripple these with status or worse and preparing for that item in the battle isn't reasonable alot of the time. Very similar to Bright Powder which is equally stupid.

Get it out of here. I was testing qc mag on ladder a couple weeks ago and it's ridiculous - didn't save my replays, I would have if I had known this was going up. Vs spikes offense mag basically will have a (single) 20% chance to win the game on the spot almost every game, and there's almost no way to tell it's quick claw prior to that point.

Quick claw camel is funny but it gets annoying by the second time you see it, not worth preserving. nothing else ever runs it, but I'm sure it's usable on metagross as well.

Voting yes having tried it out on camel, mag and beagle it can create really dumb situations such as priority spore, t wave, boom etc I see no reason to allow something like this if we have stuff like swagger and speed pass banned. This is arguably as uncompetitive if not way more so than speed pass was imo.

Shitrock enjoyer - it's hidden to just leadership to protect survey anonymity, any ROA/tiering lead (mason, Rage, Star, or shiloh, for example) can put the numbers together for you.

OK so I have been notified of the survey results and given its results (80/20) which surpass the 60% majority required and the sentiment in the thread, we have decided to quickban Quick Claw.
