any notable changes? i looked through some of the crazier additions like spikes garchomp and swords dance urshifu and they seemed to be intact still, among other things (spikes magearna...)
Isn't its Signature move Dragon Dance but slightly better?Baxcalibur still gets Dragon Dance. Bullet dodged!
" The Pokémon transforms into its Hero Form when it switches out. "btw, how does Palaphin's Ability work?
We were wrong about that. That move belongs to MausoldIsn't its Signature move Dragon Dance but slightly better?
Two very appreciable STABs.Roaring Moon now has scale shot and jaw lock
Super Fang, T-Wave, Taunt, Protect is a really solid moveset, especially with that speed and ability, I can definitely see this being a big VGC threat.By the way speaking of something less tragic, I wanted to mention that the new mouse-family pokemon is now the only owner of Friend Guard, formerly basically the only reason to use Clefairy in VGC over Clefable.
It has good support movepool too but the BSTs arent... really anything to speak of :\
74/75/70/65/75/111 (Total: 470)
I'd love to see this used, but it's basically "we have Cinccino at home".
Does have follow me as well as high speed and some decent utility moves, however the bulk is so abysmal, I struggle to see it making a impact in VGC the same way Clefairy did :\
" The Pokémon transforms into its Hero Form when it switches out. "
So you send Palaphin in battle, switch it out, and until the end of the battle it will be in the high BST hero form.
100 HP | 160 ATK | 97 DEF | 106 Sp ATK | 87 Sp DEF | 100 Speed |
It is, but there's the slight issue you have to send in a pretty mediocre pokemon and then also swap it out before it actually transform.Isn't this really strong ? I mean,
It's like, really powerful
100 HP 160 ATK 97 DEF 106 Sp ATK 87 Sp DEF 100 Speed
I don't feel like it's a problem to switch... like, you send it first, switch, and bye bye the gameIt is, but there's the slight issue you have to send in a pretty mediocre pokemon and then also swap it out before it actually transform.

Yeah I think so. Less so in VGC where switching stuff around has a much higher opportunity cost, but in singles it's definetly busted.Isn't this really strong ? I mean,

The base form still has good speed AND Flip Turn. seems like an extremely small drawbackIt is, but there's the slight issue you have to send in a pretty mediocre pokemon and then also swap it out before it actually transform.
Not ruined PogLET'S FUCKING GOOOOOO

It's a table of moves that I don't know the usage of. Maybe they're just placeholder data, but I kept them in just in case. What does unknown moves mean? Was hoping ceruledge would get shadow sneak
Reminder that it had Flip Turn and base 100 Speed, even in the weak form. In many cases it can Flip Turn out pretty easily.Yeah I think so. Less so in VGC where switching stuff around has a much higher opportunity cost, but in singles it's definetly busted.
Pretty sure it can go OU even with Body Press. Not ruined Pog
I said it earlier when we found that out, Zamazenta was nerfed by 20 def + dauntless shield nerf so we were like "Maybe it can drop to OU and see play"
...but it gets Body Press now. No way that goes to OU.
Did I mention Spectrier now gets Draining Kiss?
I'd have said no, but tbfh with the amount of powercreep that's going to hit OU, maybe.Pretty sure it can go OU even with Body Press.
It got flip turn. You can play it scarf and send it whenever you feel there is an opening. Then you got a setupless fast andin that case, that pokemon would best fit as a lead of sorts
