Looking for others' opinions, is it worth starting a trade thread if I can't offer anything special that others can't already. Like..no legends, shinies, special balls...just basic breedables with 5IVs? :/

Sure I can get those natures for you. Do IVs matter to you?
got the sinnoh starters already. thanks anyways

just analysed my next time machine's spread, which is 31/m/m/m/m/f, so I think I'll breed a mixed sweeper or a trick room mixed attacker... do you have any suggestion? please, give me more than an option :)
Naive Infernape, Quiet Mega-Camerupt, Naive Lucario in addition to what Regi and shady suggested. Take your pick...

Matching ball for Pidgeot/ Mega Pidgeot ?

Alright wtf...is the table listed here not correct? http://www.psypokes.com/dex/hp.php

I have a Bold Suicune with these stats: 175/79/148/110/135/105

So 30 or 31 in everything but Attack...I went to the HP checker first and she said it has Bug. Then I went to the IV checker and he said it has perfect HP, spA, and speed. That table says spA should be even (and Defense, which must then be 30, must be odd) for HP Bug. So...?

does the stat judge ignore an IV of 30 if there is an IV of 31?
because an IV calculator tells me that a stat is 30 or 31, but the IV judge does not mention that stat at all.
I was under the assumption that the IV judge mentions a stat of 30, too.
anyone correct me if I'm wrong?

If the Attack IV is even then it should be Bug, assuming Bold nature, the attack IV is 16.
Yeah, I plugged in 16 as the Attack IV in the calculator and it came up Bug. The table seems to have Speed and Attack switched...probably just a typo.

Yeah. It only notes the highest and any that are 0 in addition.

most likely to be 31/e/30/31/30/31, which also gives HP bug :3

the site linked gives HIGHEST IVs spread possible, which is true.

but does not mean that it's the only 31/30 spread that gives that specific Hidden Power

Yeah. That table just has a typo. Thanks.

Edit: You're right that the listed stats do work too...my understanding of how it worked was wrong. I've never paid attention to HP types before, but stupid question on my part.

Hmmm..... I would say Nest ball or Dusk ball. In my opinion.

Premiere ball and Quick ball are good but I would go for Nest ball or Dusk ball. ;)
Got mine in a premier but maybe nest is better
nestball even though the coller isnt exactly the same that circulair line compliments its neck:)
Thanks guys, I think I'm going for Premier. I think Shiny Meganium is more yellow-ish than green. By the way shady & Diabolico, can't get Heal, Dusk or Quick in that game. :p

So, anyone have a female Chikorita, Bayleef or Meganium in Premier Ball? Don't care about IV's or nature.

I have one that I got from rufusdrumknott a while back, it's Calm with 4IVs I think, probly has egg moves too.

How does a shiny charm and region mixed breeding affect shininess exactly(Masuda method)? I know that each egg has a unique ESV when obtained. Does the MM method reroll the ESV 5 times when you pick up the egg or when you hatch it? And if I save before I make an egg, obtain the egg and check it's ESV, will any mix of parents give me the same ESV for the next egg obtained?

• Exactly as you suspect, it "re-rolls" the PID (and consequently ESV).
• - It has to do this at the time you pick up the egg. If it did it at the time you hatched, then the whole shiny hatching thing wouldn't work, since you'd check an egg's ESV, but it could still change when hatching.

• No, the parents must be similar.

- Assuming you have the Shiny Charm: then if you use non Masuda Method parents initially, you must switch to the same; if you use Masuda Method parents initially, again you must switch to the same.
- If you do not have the Shiny Charm then you must be using Masuda Method parents, and switch to the same. Non Masuda Method parents (without shiny charm) have a different PID each time you pick up the egg.

- The parents must also match on the number of possible genders. I.e. if you use a species with 2 genders (male/female) initially, then you must switch in the same. If you use a species with only 1 gender (always male, always female, genderless), then again you must switch to the same.

Oh right.

So for example, if I have MM and the Shiny Charm, how many "re-rolls" does the game make? Also, if I have a Ditto and a Beldum and both the Shiny Charm and the Ditto is from JPN, the resulting ESV would be the same if I used a Kangaskhan and the same Ditto, if I reset and changed the parents?
