Tangled Feet is just too situational and only a small number of Pokemon have access to this ability, therefore it isn't on the Policy Review thread as the main part is being Sand Veil / Snow Cloak + Bright Powder, which are being discussed atm. But Tangled Feet is only on Mr.Rime and only raises the evasion when the user is confused. Therefore due to how fringe this is, this isn't a discussion point in itself in the thread. Is Tangled feet being grouped with Snow Cloak/ Sand Veil on the policy review thread? I know it is a subpar ability that only unmons have but it technically raises evasion
It likes Trick Room setters such as Hatterene, Porygon2, and Cresselia sometimes. Other times, it appreciates Rain from Pelipper. If trying to use it on balance, it functions best with pivots that have U-turn or Volt Switch to get it in safely. What are good teammates for Crawdaunt?
Zeraora is seldom worth using with a Choice Band due to its reliance on coverage and the abundance of Electric immunities to mitigate Plasma First, but it is a fine Electric immunity itself, yes. You just need to make sure to cover things like opposing Zeraora, Tapu Koko, etc.Is![]()
enough on a team as the only pokemon immune to electric types
imo every ou team, including ones with zera, should have a ground type. lacking an immunity in addition to zera leaves you incredibly vulnerable to faster elecs like koko/opposing zera, with the rare exception of some very niche rilla offenses/tangrowth fats that can mostly withstand the coverage that koko and zera use.Is![]()

I wouldn't talk about hyper offense rain teams, even though offensive rain teams can be a thing (like this team: https://pokepast.es/162ce39a4d0d181a). The main idea is to avoid running 5 frail rain abusers with Pelipper, but rely on some bulky offensive options like Melmetal (can be a good Steel type over Ferrothorn for a more offensive rain team) and Dragonite. Personally, I like making more balanced rain teams with the Pelliper, Ferro, Barra, Zapdos structure and two fillers (a Ground type and another rain wallbreaker/abuser) because I like having Spikes support with breakers like Barraskewda. When building a rain team, do you try to make it hyper offense, or lean into balance with ferro a bit more?
the reason I ask is that I hear rain is getting better, but most rain I face either feels like hyper offense poorly equipped to trade mons and brawl and will therefore rarely get to set rain a second time, or a ferro balance that loses to magnezone and the tactic of aggressively wasting the rain team's turns.
not a very simple answer incoming but i think it's worth going into some depth to try and explain it wellWhen building a rain team, do you try to make it hyper offense, or lean into balance with ferro a bit more?

Knock Off is usually used in the last slot there, but there are a few other moves such as Gyro Ball, Power Whip, or even Iron Defense that you can justify if you would likeso I have a ferro, as well as an SD weavile, rocks, and trapper fini. I run the typical spikes, seed, body press/attacking move. what are options for my last move?
The most common one is: EVs: 248 HP / 92 SpD / 168 Spewhat is the AV tornadus spread?
It's true that Nihilego is on the rise, but I think it's mainly because of its offensive sets (Meteor Beam with Power Herb or Specs). It seems rather unreliable as a Rock setter (we didn't even include it in the OU room faq about hazards cause Rocks Nihilego usage are still super low), but if you want to try it you should run something like Stealth Rock, Pain Split, Knock Off, Power Gem (some other options could be nice too like Thunderbolt to threaten both Corviknight and Tapu Fini or even Toxic Spikes to set both hazards in a team where you can pressure defoggers with something like Gzapdos).I know Nihilego's viability has risen in SS OU in the past few months, and I wanted to try out a Stealth Rocks set, since it seems to be a good setter with postive match-ups vs defoggers like Corviknight, Torn-T, Fini (however it looks bad vs Defog Lando so idk). Does anyone have the set for it?
The first that comes to mind would be Heatran. Heatran is known to be the best Volcarona answer in the tier and can act as a Weavile check, even if you won't come in often against Weavile and hate losing your Leftovers. Needing to check Weavile also means you may end up too low in health to check Volcarona. Moreover, you need Flash Fire to beat Volcarona, but if you want to be a great Weavile check you would rather have Flame Body with some Def investment. Is there something that can check bothand
(barring
).If yes what would be the best ev spread for it.

To be fair Buzzwole is one the best Weavile check on its own and having both Buzzwole and Heatran would means having to separate answers for Volcarona and Weavile (like you're always going Buzzwole against Weavile and your not letting Heatran get weakened when you have a Buzzwole).Wouldbe a good secondary check? Alongside Flash Fire
