I guess now is a time to add that I do have a very small paranoia about lechen. The HH NK was not really surprising. TBH when I was reading over night HH had become an obvtown read for me. But I did expect Lechen to die. NE is somewhat more motivated to kill HH. Lechen not dying implies that DBD is town oe why wouldnt me or Lechen die. Could be thaf its too obvious or it could be that Lechen/DBD was an S/S interaction, though I do think such a push is improbable from scum lechen here.
it's not an excuse from my end, it's more that i was frustrated that i wasn't able to be here because M2H's posts got so much better like legit hours after i was gone and i know that if i was around, i'd have been able to have a shot at helping steer things in a better direction. i wouldn't have voted dbd still, but i likely would've started a duskfall counterwagon or even hydro but i guess that's irrelevant now
So why massclaim before we do that? I agree it may be possible to pin certain people together as scum based on point totals of their roles. But definitely it would be difficult to make an accurate setup prediction without first seeing one mafia flip. Otherwise people will go off about their favorite paranoia fueled scum team and use claims to back it up. I think town still has substantial power.
Understandable concerns, but i didn't push M2H who flipped town and had power and pushed dbd instead.
so what changed for you in between these posts? at first you seemed adamant that it was a bad idea & it was a negative point on M2H for you, but now you agree that a massclaim should happen? i agree that a massclaim is looking like a good idea at this point, i just wonder how much you truly disliked the idea to begin with, unless that was exclusive to day 1?

yes they can afford this even with a recruit, that doesn't put them in enough debt to rule out entirely
however i think if there was a double healer mafia on a 4-person mafia team, the other two roles are almost always zero pointers
Originally I didn't like the idea of massclaiming because it outs power roles like mayor and vengeful and commuter, but they all died anyways (or like saber, was mod confirmed)
In light of this situation I felt like rereading Lechen's D1 ISO just now, and I do not like it very much. I wouldn't be surprised if he's trying to bus DBD here, and pushed it hard enough to get two conftowns and two decent-chance-of-towns on the wagon... or he's paired with AP but whatever. I think scum recruiting and bussing PV day 1 isn't a bad strategy for a more aggressive scumteam, if they feel like they have good enough players to push that D1 towncred advantage through future days. Lots of WIFOM involved here.
I also don't like his 554 and 727 posts on M2H, they very much read like TMI scum trying to shade a town slot without committing in a way that makes them look bad; this gave me pause at the time (shown in 731) and now it pings red for me more than ever. His insistences about certain things that will happen with the solve if we lynch DBD have also been wildly overblown in ways that would be understandable once but happen across multiple posts (300 and 710 stand out to me here).
The "faith healer on me" stuff and his piggybacking of the early "townslip" arguments (despite his own "townslip" by the same logic in post 20) are also things I don't like and his reads outside of the massive DBD tunnel have been underwhelming as well. Most of Lechen's content throughout the game has felt like a constant pursuit of LHF talking points and lynch targets that allow him to more easily blend in with uninformed medium-effort townies, and the pattern shows itself much more clearly in hindsight.
And now with my vote on him, all sorts of unsettling stuff is happening with the reactions. Lechen, I wanted to see you squirm after you never had to in D1, that's why I put the vote down. I wanted to sort you and not enough had happened for me to do that well. And you're squirming in a way that screams scum. Overreacting to minimal pressure and ignoring the substantive reasons for sus on your slot reads like a classic case of scum being frustrated at suddenly getting pressured or caught for the wrong reasons. It doesn't read at all to me like indignant town who genuinely thinks I have better things to be doing, especially with the "3 objectively better people" comment which strikes me as informed language.
All this is to say that I'm staying on Lechen for a bit. Come join me on this exciting new wagon prospect!

tinfoil but just airing it so that i can pretend i'm him if it winds up being correct: lechen requests heal in thread to make it look more likely that they'd survive despite being one of the most townread players in the game due to the fact that it would look like it was meant to "scare mafia away", aligning perfectly with this post for the cover. i don't know if lechen's like that but that would be pretty good mafia iq

Even more +scum in my eyes here, claiming quickly like this is exactly what town!M2H did and a scum under pressure would try to spin that as town "needing to recognize their mistake" from D1 and not staying on the claimer this time. However, I already knew you were probably FH based on the crumbs (more like loaves) so this changes nothing for me, it's a scummy claim anyway.
