Neon - Last time he played like this he was scum, but I’ll be willing to say he has become better

As for the townslips, I’m more inclined to believe Kazumi and Ehmcee are town and I have to reread the other slips.

I’m going to address this specifically rn.

Pulsar scum was less a read and more an observation, pulsar is hard to read in general cause she shitposts a lot.

As for dusk here’s a tommy scum game, I admittedly haven’t reread it but I remember him being village leader in some sense (tbf he had role swap so it kinda made sense?)

I’m interested to hear your thoughts on M2H? It feels odd that your coming to their defense?

M2H has never been this inactive before from what I remember so I don't think their activity indicates their alignment in this case. Like if m2h was a bit less active than usual sure but in this case the difference is too extreme for me to draw a conclusion.

i did! i did the route with the edgy girl when the game first came out, but i didn't realize there was an option to side with her after she goes all nazi, so i ended up with the lame teacher. i liked the characters and the combat. the plot was a little cringe. i have a rule of thumb where if people start raving about how meaningful the plot of the blue dude was for them, then i kind of just log that in my mind as a mark against their character

Don't worry, I do this a lot in the early game; I'll probably go back to the usual irritability and opaque progressions on every read later.
 
AngryPidgeon: I don't really have any meta to know how good AP is at mafia in an NOC context, but what I'm seeing from him so far is pretty good! The DS vote originally is actually quite telling to me. I would angleshoot this to mean that AP is either town and is high enough WIM to actually go back and read/skim the previous game OR he is mafia and partnered with somebody that participated in the previous iteration of the game that isn't me (Duskfall98 or Apricity) or somebody that just keeps up with shit in the community (Clouds probably (?)) as otherwise why would he fixate on DS in particular(?). DS was not just a random participant in the last small-street game but was the solo carry for the mafia team and he had a pretty infamous game that game as he stalled the game out, so his RNG vote there is meaningful to me.

Aside from that he has made a few good points on set-up spec, but his actual read opinions have been somewhat underwhelming tbh on page 7/8. It is worth noting that having 10(!??) town reads on d1 is a very bad thing to do imo but more likely to come from town than scum. I do think nonetheless that he has been actively posted, thus putting him squarely in my town & very high WIM bucket for the time being.

ElectricityCat can be a lost town newbie or scum newbie being told to not speak too much in thread. There is nothing that have made me think it was one option over the other.

I feel like we put Ehmcee on the defensive with the fake townslip thing but didn't gain much info from it, at least I can't get a read.

I've been with clouds only for a single game and he was alingment cop (town) and I think his play so far is in line. This slot is probably the one who has the most potential to be recruited if they are recruiting based on skill alone.

Nightemerald posting could be done from both alignments and be fine honestly.
