Yeah we'll probably switch judges considering I'll be a judge for Week 1, and I want to enter. So someone can switch with me on Week 2 so I can participate, etc.

Got a response from EE, awaiting Aragornbird now.

EDIT: Re-did Hall of Fame, C + C and thoughts?

Very nice, very nice. BTW, you can use [noparse][noparse][/noparse][/noparse] tags to stop the coding so you don't have to put the asterisk.

I'm just sitting back and watching all of this discussion of the contests. I know for sure I'm going to want to enter them...or at least until I win enough to get whatever prize you guys decide on. :toast: Then maybe if there are open positions, I'll join in on judging.

Or just lurk for the hell of it and use my Fuzzbeary cruelty to laugh at newbies.

If you go Fuzzbeary on the newbies, I'll disqualify you from the next WSC you enter. We want this to be fun :D

So as far as judges go we've got:

Me
ninjabait
and you, right?

What did EE say? I'm dying to know.


The HoF looks great, although admittedly 3rd gen sprites aren't the best looking.

*shiver* I'm a bit hyper right now, as a side effect of drinking hot chocolate that I put a fcouple cups of sugar into.
 
Thanks 1337. Well since EE doesn't mod in Smeargle's Studio he couldn't officially approve it. Basically he redirected me to Aragornbird, whom I'm awaiting a response from.

As for the first week of judges, it's me, 1337, Mordock, Ninjabait, and (we need one more to make it odd).

I also posted a banner for the WSC in the Avatar section, so if you guys wanna take a look at that go ahead.
 
I know, I should have PMed all the mods. If I don't get a response from Aragornbird by the end of today I'll PM the others.

We can go ahead and make this later on today or tomorrow.
 
Just awaiting on 1337 and Mordock so we can start this up. Wednesday is a good starting day too because it's in the middle of the week :).

If we can get Mordock ready, we can do it now. But we need to have the posts ready to post.

Mordock second (with judges/contestants) Judges: Me, Chaos, ninjabait, and himself
and chaos third (with the HoF)

So I'm using ninjabaits post (link me to it so I can copy/paste, it will need some editing)?

That's correct 1337. We can just post "Reserved" like in trade threads and edit it afterwards.

Awesome, just some nitpicks though.

You might want to be more specific on the theme. People might think they can only use 1st gen Pokemon, maybe you should specify you aren't limited to any Pokemon, just the types you choose.

Also, when did we decide that 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10 would get a medal/trophy/ribbon. Didn't we decide on 1, 2, 3, and 4+?

You may also want to put that you have 7 days to get your entry in, and then the judges will post their verdict along with the next contest.

EDIT: Two themes would just complicate things =/.
 
Great job guys, I knew we could pull this off :).

You might want to add it was approved by Firestorm as well as Doomsday, just in case ;).
 
I miss a DAY and you pull this? Darn, I wish I could enter, but right now my spriting time is very limited because of school and whatnot. Can't wait to get a computer in my room instead of my mom's. I'll see what I can do, but I doubt I'll pull an entry for this one. Darn.

Anyway, this is a Koffing Fire Retype I originally did for this weeks spriting contest - but right after I finished, I looked at the thread to see that Wombat already did it :(. So I had to switch to Psychic Metapod (which you can see in the WSC thread).

If it's not too much trouble, I'd like to request an avatar of any fire pokemon (preferably a Blaziken, but it doesn't really matter) using some kind of fire type striking move (fire punch, blaze kick, flare blitz, flame wheel, etc). Thanks in advance!
