I'm sure Fuzzberry will come along within a day or so, read this, and imediately post hers up. Yeah, so in other words, just be patient and you'll get it as soon as Fuzz is back on. Anything else? Maybe I can do this one this time. :)

@Tanz: Currently the head is too flat, and to fix this, I'd reccomend using the lighter shade of Red that I see elsewhere on your sprite. I also feel that you could also add another lighter shade of Blue, since it looks a little too dark right now. Also, if you want it to look more official, don't use a pure black outline. All official sprites use a Base outline color in addition to black. The base outline color is usually the darkest shade of the color that the outline touches. Look at an official sprite to see what I mean.

Other than the Outline and darkness issues, looks great! If this is your first try at custom shading, I applaud your skills. As I (always, nowadays) say, its a lot better than my first try. ;)

Yeah I tried fiddling around with the lighter red/pink/whatever but couldn't quite get it to look right, but I'll give it another shot. And I'll check that base outline thing too, thanks for the help.

Hehe love it.

I think the one with the tail looks cooler, but considering this week's theme, I'd go with the other one then ;)

However, if you use the one with the tail, at the moment it doesn't quite line up either side of the arm. Either drop the right hand side outline a bit, or raise it up on the left hand side. Other than that, both awesome, good job :)
 
That is a pretty damn good repose there Arch. I can just see a big black spot near where the tail meets by the legs there. And the tail kinks very sharply when it's near the head too.

C+C on Duskull lines. I know there are two instances of lines two pixels thick, but they're there deliberately since they're different colours.

I may edit this post with Porygon2 coloured or Dusclops lines too.

EDIT: Here we go, Dusclops lines for C+C. The bit by the left leg (our view) looks a bit weird, I know, and I was confused by it too. =/ Hopefully it should be about the right size.

Added Dusknoir in too. Damn it was hard. >.< And I know it doesn't look seven foot when compared to Dusclops, but I had to make it that size to fit in the 160x160 restriction. And I just realized Dusclops is too big, so I'll have to do it again. :|

Also, is there a list of which sprites have been done anywhere?

EDIT #3-4 maybe, I've lost count. :| Anyways, Exeggcute done and dusted off very, very quickly. Hopefully it looks ok, it's a tad small (which is good, because Exeggcute is).

Exeggutor lines done, hopefully they're up to scratch. Kinda had the same problem as I did with Dusknoir, but since it's sitting down the lack of size shouldn't be so bad.
 
I hope you're not using the curve tool for the outlines :\

Anyway, the shading doesn't really look quite right, to be honest. Instead of tracing the shading from the base art, you should reshade in the style of the official sprites. As far as I can tell, Porygon's shading is the same as the base art's.
 
I'm yet to find a chance to do Meganium's prevos (busy busy busy :/ ), but I'll get round to it asap. A quick question though: if an existing sprite happens to be the perfect size, will you be using that, or would you still want a new one drawing?

Also, a dedicated thread would be reeeeally helpful (and a list of those sprites that have already been completed/started...)
 
Alchemator: Kangaskhan's too big; it has to fit in a 160x160 box. Also, the pose makes it look like it's going to fall over; I'm going for neutral poses rather than action poses. Try finding the old Sugimori art and using that. They're pretty good otherwise; maybe touch up Toxicroak's shading a bit, as some of it looks a bit square (for example, the highlights on its left arm and poison sac).

Wizwum: I'd rather all the sprites be scratch; just like D/P didn't use 3rd gen sprites (apart from just a couple of instances, such as Donphan; that was very lazy of Game Freak), all the sprites should be brand-new.

I know I've promised to make a thread for a while, but I've been on holiday and been busy with other things lately... For the same reason, I haven't been spriting either. However, I should be free tomorrow, so I'll attempt to get a thread up.

I'm about to get down with some serious spriting to get back into shape. I'dve gotten that sprite up earlier, but I didn't go on Smogon yesterday. Spent all my time on the computer watching Donnie Darko on youtube. Wonderfully chilling. I'll post everything I do tonight. =3

Continuing my series of mythological creatures made of Pokemon, I present you with my Griffin! And I shall name him Peter.

C + C would be muchly appreciated. To make him, I used the HGSS Pidgeot, Pidgeotto, and Moltres, then the Pt Luxray and the DP Luxio.

 @Rannon- Noooooo. Please no JPEGs. They destroy the quality of your sprites. Save them as PNGs- the color won't get all mucked up that way.

Aside from that, the shading on the ones involving Mewtwo could use a lot of improvement. In all of them, the areas where the spliced parts meet need to be smoothed out. They're disjointed- that is to say they don't connect smoothly into the body. They look pasted on.
