smogon shirts redux?

we can have more than one shirt design you know...

i'm also against any funny quote shirts, except for possibly the 176 evs one because its so clever lol. lets keep it classy
 
Well I've continued to look into it and right now having printed stripes is looking better and better.

Believe it or not American Apparel is looking to be the cheapest place to get striped shirts and at $32 dollars it just wouldn't work out for anyone. I'm sorry to dissapoint the indie kids out there but the cost to be the boss is very expensive at the moment.

A teacher just told me about this place where we can get custom rugby shirts done but the price ranges from $32 to $39 dollars and a minimum of 10. Like I said looking to a different alternative seems like the thing to do.

The 176 EVs would be more cost effective for everyone and easier for the people in charge of making the Smogon t-shirt.

I'll pay $32. Trust me, that is NOT an issue when it comes to a shirt that awesome.
 
so would i, though i'm pretty sure i'd have to pay a ton more because of what it'd cost to send it all the way here. however, that's a price im willing to pay for this shit!

I like the idea, and the way it looks. Maybe more design in it, (i know its a rough rough draft)
 
I like the idea quoted above, maybe if I find a shirt with a design I like I'll post it here as maybe a template. I'm probably a girl for saying this but hey we can be fashionable with these things too.

if you want to make a funny one, maybe do just a rectangle with three horizontal stripes, like a flag, with red, yellow, and blue stripes and below it says "'04er" or "Im so real" or something like that

or maybe one that just says "31/31/31/31/31/31" because we're the shit or something
 
YES! Finally, back to this :) I still have my shirt idea pictures on my photobucket if you'd like me to post them (or come up with new ones for that matter).
 
I like the one that is all purple, quotes or not i don't mind. The cost is kinda an issue because i also have to pay the shipping costs hehe.
 
because i have a local custom teeshirt shop near me i am just going to make my own version of that purple and black striped tee. i'll post pics up when i get it. it will probably be about a week. if you peeps like it i guess i could make more and ship them out. i can probably get one made in the 15-30$ range but i'll let you guys know the exact cost when i go in tomorrow to see what they can do.

if it pretty cheap i'll probably end up making a solid color as well so if i did what color would you prefer? black or purple seems to be the consensus from what i've gathered.
 
the skull-and-crossbones-esque looks cool, I'd definitely wear that.
The purple stripy ones are good as well.
EDIT2: the smogonisms are a nice touch but keeping it simple might be more aesthetically pleasing; either way it's all good.

I'd be all for this too, I like the striped hipster shirts from a few pages back.

If this works, a National Smogon Day would be cool, everyone has to wear their shirt >:]

The back could include a saying under it, but I left it out bacause it looked akward. This is simple and attractive, with the smooth colors of the smogon site. Idk, tell me what you think.
 
I didn't notice Ike and Tina's post, those shirts are great, either of the striped ones I would wear
 
$32-40 dollars really isn't an issue for me tbh. I'd be prefered to pay that bit extra if it means having a shirt that's of a slightly higher quality and longer lasting.
 
Also for people talking about printing them at their local shop I think chaos intended for it to be sort of an administrative smogon effort to have the shirts on the site etc. and thus doing it yourself is not needed. Feel free to correct me though, chaos.
 
can we not let this thread die? where are some good places to sell t-shirts from online? there is no way in hell im going to make these shirts myself.
