Skymin is not a surprise. Almost surprising it got into the top ten. Usage was extremely high when it got on and at the start of the month, but people started realizing it's not that great. I'd put my money on it falling more this month.

Rotom-H is OU ALL BY ITSELF!! xD Not surprising though as the new forms really ought to be OU. It's a poke that has never been a waste for the players I've seen use it, always accomplishing something in battle . . . unlike certain other pokemon *cough*skymin*cough*.

Gengar's fall is not all that surprising. Hypnosis is back to being a bad attack, and overall the rotoms to scarf-tricking better. On its awesome sweeping abilities and resistances/immunities alone it stays a top-ten pokemon.

Celebi is doing great considering the competition with the "uber" skymin. It really is a great pokemon after all, and really tough to take down.

Metagross feeling the competition with scizor I see. I'm surprised that it was gross and not lucario that fell. Trick gross is a amazing, especially with deoxys-e gone. I'd expect people to catch onto trick cress/uxie/mesprit too now that they aren't just outsped by d-e.

I know, Skymin ended up being pretty overrated. Even my no SpD EV skarm had no problems walling and killing it.

And it would seem that I'm one of the very few using SubBounce Gyarados...

Hey look Shaymin plummeted. I guess people realized that he's not broken, really. I remember hype being all "he would have been number 1 for just the post shyamin stats" before and now he's only #10.

Before anyone says "but heatran zapdos and scizor are skymin checks their rise means he's uber" (I haven't read page 2 I hope no one says such a thing) keep in mind they're great Pokémon outright especially Scizor and all 3 of them handle each other / are Scizor.

Gengar's drop isn't surprising at all to me. He's not being hyped right now + Hypnosis was the best thing about him = not #3 anymore.

The way I see it the main reason Gengar's useage is down is not due to Hypnosis' drop in accuracy, but to the introduction of the new Rotom forms.

Ok, so i was bored so I took Heatran's fire moves and added them up (Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Lava Plume, Overheat) 60.5+19.7+10.5+8.3= 99%

Does that mean 1% of Heatran's have no fire move? That's approximately 10005 Heatran with no fire move........ Hopefully, thats Heatran with Heat Wave, but why?

gengar drop is kinda surprising, but it's only dropped to 6th. i never knew that kingdra is now 20th in usage! wow things have changed since i've been away.

i'm expecting celebi and dragonite to take a big hit next month.

Deoxys-s highest ranking on any OU ladder has been #10, and it was still a landslide vote making it uber. Ironically, its the same as Skymin.
however, i expect she'll drop further whether she gets voted uber or not, as her hype is dead and its hard to have her on a team with salamance (cause of x4 ice resist and SR weakness), and mance is #3.

I thought lucario was going to drop more, i mean SD extremespeed was probably the best thing about him, and Scizor does that better with STAB Technician Bullet Punch.

Seems like it's my turn now. I waited for these stats before I went to bed, and I didn't see them. Means you'll need to wait until I have an odd free hour here at work at least.

I need to know if species clause has been implemented on our server or not (for the Rotom-A usages).

I also need to update my typical moveset program to account for Hidden Power types. That's being done at home though, not at work.

Does that mean 1% of Heatran's have no fire move? That's approximately 10005 Heatran with no fire move........ Hopefully, thats Heatran with Heat Wave, but why?
More likely than not they're "gimmick" trapper sets with Lava Storm.

Anyways, I'm amazed that only 42.9% of Shaymin-S are running Substitute. That, more than anything else, rips several checks like Scarf Heatran to shreds (and is probably Shaymin's best chance of dealing with several other counters, like Blissey).

btw, i think you can attribute the gengar drop directly to the rise of scizor. scizor doesn't have to be a sweeper. bullet punch, pursuit, roost and u-turn make a great set and is a good gengar counter. gengar really only had so many true counters in d/p, mainly bliss and metagross (and only the right kinds). now there's a new top 5 threat that counters it very well. it's a no brainer really when you lay everything out.

Gah, Registeel is 93th? I thought it would get much more usage, as it's a pretty good check to Shaymin-s and can work against Outrage-locked Mence.

And I see that no one is using Trick Cresselia. That thing is wonderful, lol.

Not to mention many Rotoms carry Choice Scarf and can take a Shadow Ball from Gengar.

I'm kind of disappointed that Land Form Shaymin is so neglected.

Glaceon isn't in the top 10 for UUs, but like 30th... ._.

The number of leads don't add up to the number of battles?

Number of leads add up to twice the number of battles. And Pokemon usages add up to 12 times the number of battles.

Does anybody know whether special clause was implemented in our server? That is, is a team with more than one Rotom form physically disallowed or not?

I think Rotom forms should be counted as the same form. They're only difference, aside from sprites, is one move unique to each form. This can be comparable to breeding and xD moves e.g. Azumarill can't have Aqua Jet and Belly Drum, Crobat can't have Hypnosis and Nasty Plot.

Or at least, the different Rotom forms could have the same analysis. Overheat / Hydro Pump / etc could be listed as a core move on some Rotom sets e.g. Thunderbolt, Hydro Pump/Blizzard, Rest, Sleep Talk.

5.5% of Sheddy have max SpA... What set do they run?
11.1% of Skarm have Sturdy (note that OHKO's are banned..).
14.3% of Smeregle have Leftovers. A little odd but not very.

Some Hidden Power stats (all the OUs with more than 1 HP listed+a few interesting ones):Zapdos:
HP-Ice 30.9%HP-Ice 24.5%

Heatran:
HP-Ice 35.2%
HP-Electric 10.1%
HP-Grass 7.2%

Celebi
HP-Fire 19%
No HP Ice I see. Probably cos of the lack of Chompy, but Mence is still around.

Jolteon:
HP-Ice 55.4%
HP-Grass 11.3%

Magnezone:
HP-Ice 41.4%
HP-Fire 21.3% (no mention of this in the analysis)
HP-Grass 19.7%

Porygon-Z:
HP-Fighting 19.1%
HP-Water 6.3% (seems pretty strange to me.. *checks analysis* ahh Subsalac+NP.)

Raikou:
HP Ice 54.8%
HP Grass 13.2%
HP Dragon 5.5%
Urm..

Shaymin-S:
HP-Ice 24.5%
HP-Fire 15.4%

Stopping there for now.

I've been using Focus Sash Lucario outragously, and it comes accompanied with exeptional results. Of course I understand the difficulties of Focus Sash Pokemon and their immediate uselessness should Stealth Rock be active, which is why I use this Lucario as a lead.

Interesting statistics, Doug. Again, thank you for your splendid contributions, which provides the community with valuable information.

4 Zapdos + 9
Gained ~29000 usages comparing with September. The addition of Heat Wave, combined with its ability to wall alot of the common Pokémon used could be a reason to this.
20 Kingdra + 19
Outrage seriously caused that jump. It was new to OU last month, now it got a established OU member. Gained ~16000 usages this month.
Rotom Forms

Lost nearly 25000 usages this month. I cant really explain why, as I was frequently seeing Gengar.
11 Metagross - 5
Cant explain this one too. Metagross lost 10000 usages this month. Lots of people were using it as a lead in the RMT threads =/.
46 Yanmega - 14
Again, 10000 usages got lost. I havent seen any in my OU battles, but I think this one doesnt get used because of SR and the better lead options.

Bronzongs reign as the top lead is over now, as faster Pokémon like Azelf or Pokémon with higher offensive Power like Tyranitar are taking the lead.

Again, Gengar got thrown out of the Top 3; it gotta hope next month will be a bit better.
15 Yanmega - 11
Poor Yanmega, his role as being of one the Top leads seems to be taken by other Pokémon now, as Tyranitar for example renders his Sash useless.
23 Abomasnow - 9
A big no-no for Hail, thats what many people seem to think. Abomasnow fails to be in the Top 20 Leads now.
So all in all, it can be said that Zapdos and Scizor got the best out of this month, while Gengar and Yanmega "lost" quite a lot.

Just 4 fun.

I think Lucario's usage (or the lack of a drop) is mainly due to the fact that it beats all the common Scizor checks in Zapdos and Heatran with SD Mach Punch and Ice Punch. Lee's specsLuke thread also helped. I must have battled a dozen specsLuke myself.

Gah, Registeel is 93th? I thought it would get much more usage, as it's a pretty good check to Shaymin-s and can work against Outrage-locked Mence.

And I see that no one is using Trick Cresselia. That thing is wonderful, lol.
Maybe it's because skymin is not good enough for teams to carry a fairly specialized counter? Also registeel has to compete with Scizor, Lucario and Metagross (all top 15) in terms of team synergy. Not to mention Bronzong, Jirachi, etc.

I need to find a chance to try trick cress/uxie sometime . . .

Mach Punch Lucario???
