Where can I find gen 7 and gen 8 sprites of pokémon? And animated one.
Pretty sure you have it right there. Smogon does not ‘use’ new sprites for Gen 7/8 Pokémon and it does not do so for existing pokemon.
admittedly this explanation is a bit vague but hopefully it gives you what you need.

where do new Team Custom Avatars get posted be it big teamtours like SPL, SCL or prizes for smaller teamtours like BWPL, BDSPPL etc.

Those for prizes are usually posted in the CA approval thread which is in Inside Scoop, official team tour ones are often posted close to the tournament start when they're all uploaded. There's no central place to view them all afaik.
Very minor grievance but in most generations of 1v1 it is not optimal to have a 0 attack IV on special attackers, and the automatic implementation of the 0IV can become a little annoying when I keep forgetting to change it before I upload the paste (this is due to strategies forcing you to struggle generally being a lot more common than foul play). If the feature could be changed after selecting 1v1 in the builder that would be ideal. I do understand, however, that this might be a lot of effort for a very minor optimisation so is very far from urgent.

Profile headers has been brought up as suggestion, but it hasn't progressed much further than that at the moment.
I was taking a look at the Badge FAQ and noticed that most, if not all descriptions of each badge lack any specific requirements to achieve said badge. For example, "Pre-Contributors (often referred to as "Ladybug") are most notably badged for their helpfulness in the Contributions & Corrections forum". Is there a certain amount of C&C contributions that are required to fit the criteria of getting the badge?
Take what I say with a grain of salt because I'm not C&C staff but I've been around the block for a hot second now- the reason there isn't a concrete number given is because quality and quantity of each analysis written can vary significantly. Do you reward someone who wrote 8 full analyses which were 1 set each the same as a person who tackled some old gen write-up of an S rank with 4-5 sets, each needing multiple paragraphs? No, which is why it's better left somewhat vague.
So if I were to keep uploading analyses, a member of C&C Staff would notice and give me the badge or is it something I would request?
only badge you can request is Tiering Contributor, where you'd DM a TL links to your suspect votes. Every other badge, one of the mods WILL notice and nominate you.
