Nah, I don't believe so. The title of the thread indicates the last shift took place in December, and it's a three-month cycle.

It's a full tier shift month, the new thread was made in December because of the new split between megas and base forms in that month, but the last full shift was November.

Mega Pinsir lasted less than 9 hours. I know, because it dropped after I went to work that day and it was gone before I got home.
