You asked for it

It looks nice. But it's pixel art of a Breloom, not a Breloom sprite. It helps to actually use the existing sprite as a reference point while you work, since that is the look your trying to simulate

#1: Your color palette is wrong. If your going to make a new sprite for an existing pokemon, make sure you use the same color palette of the old sprite, otherwise your just doing pixel art (or a new shiny coloration).

#2: Your sprite is too large. Breloom is 59 pixels tall. Your pixel-art is 79 pixels tall. When you make a new sprite of an existing pokemon, the size doesn't have to be exactly the same as the old sprite, but it should be similar. 20 pixels is too much to go unnoticed.

#3: There's too much light colored outline in certain places. Always use Black to color the bottom and bottom-right of any object, no matter what. Use less of your lightest outline color and replace it with your middle outline color. Don't use the light outline color unless that surface is facing directly at the sun (The outline on Breloom's face shouldn't be colored that way).

#4: Highlights are to big. This is majorly noticable on the neck petals, where you tried to use highlighting to accomplish what you should have done with shading. Highlights should be no more than 2 pixels thick vertically or horizontally unless the object is on dominates the sprite, or the object is flat is someway. Remember a highlight is the tiny sliver of an objects curvature that is facing directly at the sun.

#5: The neck petals are the wrong shape. Breloom has round petals on it's neck, not spikey ones.

Hmm...maybe I should just go about doing pixel art, then. XD I'll keep that all in mind in case I ever decide to scratch again..or in case I decide to redo this one. Or maybe I'll redo this with all of these suggestions...just for lulz.

Come to think of it, I should have found a scratching guide somewhere. I did all three of mine blindly.

Well...I have more fun doing fusions. -shrugs- I'll come back to this stuff sometime. And yeah, I asked for it. Fuzz admits defeat in this department. T_T

So...taking fusion requests. @_@

I made couple more devamps today, and thought I'd post them. I'm not too happy how the mamoswine turned out, even though it took me quite a while to make, and I'll probably try remaking it some time later on.
I also tweaked the lapras-evo's sprite slightly by correcting some mistakes, so here it is.

Now I'm all nostalgic for the days when I enjoyed fusions. Here's my favorite:

Its more nostalgic when i'm here, fool.

G/S/C used only 4 colours in their sprites; black, white, and two others. If you want to make a true devamp, you'll have to cut down on the colours.

Just reminding everyone that I did post the Kniet repose up not too long ago. It didn't get any replies, so I'm just making sure those of you who wanted to see it did see it.

Speaking of reposes, I'm done with the Breloom repose, too. I chaged its arms up a bit since I've posted the Lineart (Which nobody seemed to notice either, for that matter. T_T).

Comments and Criticisms are, as always, for cryin' out loud, welcome...

@X- Better than my attempt. =D The arms are a little....too straight? And his leg farther away from us seems to bulge out too far on top.

@1337- I finished Lati@s. It used to be shiny, but then I decided to make a normal recolor...and promptly saved over the original. ;_;
Latis.png

Man, the Lati twins sure are awkward sprites. Its (his? her? what its this thing?) wings were really, really annoying.

I was going to name it something along the lines of "Latiqueer," but I beleive it was Mordock who beat me to it a few months ago with Nidoqueer.

I think I'll do CM's request next.

I'll try , also Diamond Dust you're back =DD

EDIT:

not much of a fusion :S, anyone else are free to try it. Gonna take another request...

I attempted it w/ Zang base and failed.

Speaking of Zang, I did do a sucessful fusion btw it and Infernape.

Comments, Criticisms, and Requests are welcome.

I'll try that. As for Staraptor, the Bird Anatomy link was very helpful. I still haven't gotten around to spriting the wings, but hopefully it'll be done by Wednesday at the latest.

I just had to do this :

which one is better?

The right one. As a quick criticism, I would also like to suggest you use black outlining for the left (our right) shoulder fur and elbow. Since the base light source is not directly hitting those spots, it should have black in the outline. Looks cool though.

((I had a fun time doing this next one since it was very challenging, but since it use two pokemon I liked, it didn't get boring.))
R.I.P. Heracross. T^T So very sad...

... or not...

'Night.

Lol, I hope you dont get offended, since Im not saying this wanting to critic you, after all, I loved it, but he looks like a Mighty Bean(dont know if you remember them) as always, an excellent sprite

Yeah, finally finished Flamedramon's lineart. Please critique so I can fix it before I start coloring. Here's some official art for comparison. I know the horn blade is very small on my sprite, but I thought I would have more room for the head.

oH WoW; 999 post!!!!!

GND:014 looks very uh... akward... there isn't much criticism but the shading on the head is off... it looks too bright and then you atomatically transfer into a darker color the wring of light is also slighlty too big and looks akward other than that great sprite!

I'll fiddle with the shading a bit more. That actually looked the best out of what I tried, although i didn't try everything, so...

@ Canti: Crud, when you post a link to something, I can't load it! The thing froze my comp three seconds ago, so unfortunately, I can't criticise. :(

@ Gir!: I sure don't remember Mighty Beans, but, as I made him, The head reminded me of a Metaur from Megaman _____. (Wha, it's not like they're in every one...[/sarcasm])

EDIT: Just Googled MB and now I remember the commercials... Never did buy them though...

@Canti: It looks good except for the short horn.

@X&Z: I love it. It just looks.....hilarious. Metaur never really came to my mind when I was looking at it, despite the fact that I've played like 11 or 12 of the games.
