here's an idea:

instead of this thread continuing for another three pages of pc+, give us the story behind your superhero or supervillain and tell us how he or she would use their powers etc!!

you should probably also have a cool name like

Heat Vision

So I have access to the powers of NORSE GODS, and I can melt objects with my eyes. I think I'm going to take Thor for this one, so I have Weather Manipulation, Electric Manipulation, Enhanced Strength, Idiosyncratic Manipulation, Powers Via Object and Storm Creation, as well as having incredibly sexy hot eyes.

Basically no story is needed here, I win.

OP.

You basically end up with someone who's part demon (including everything from wish-granting to immortality to claws, fire breathing, flight, handguns as in Devil May Cry, necromancy, poison generation, teleportation, shape shifting and/or possession) and is fucking hard to pin down because he automatically goes through the path of least risk to himself. That'd be a pretty sick supervillain actually, since you'd have a legitimate reason for why he loses against the superhero, yet is back in top form within a week.

Soooooo, I'm every villain from a fairy tale? That's, uh, kinda not what I expected, but alright! I'd need some sort of cool all-encompassing name for that.

Or maybe I'll just be Lord Farquaad?
 
Omnilock
Pheromone manipulation

I exist outside of normal space and am thus invincible from normal deaths (bullets, knives, explosions) which is cool. Basically I can fight any crime committed by a non-supervillain and have absolutely no reason to worry.
I'm also absolutely unresistable which can be useful for other purposes...

Oh. A story. Fuckin Az.

Well obviously I would develop my power enough to turn into smaller diamonds and transport myself through the ground. This way I could get close enough to spy on people and hear their thoughts and shit. If I was ever found out to be snooping I could just impale them with my diamond harpoons. Combining the power with martial arts would also be awesome. I.e. partially transforming my legs and arms as I punch and kick/swipe at people would make me awesome at hand to hand. Making a diamond sword would also be sick. I'd be the best superhero/spy ever.

Editnumber2: I just wanna be a water bender :(

actually as cool as enigma force sounds, kind of a bummer to only utilize the energy/powers of a host? like, i'm a super flea??

the memory erasing thing is kind of cool, but i don't know how super of a power that is….basically just erase the minds of people that i ever embarrass myself in front of or something. i could experiment on a more grandiose scale and erase the minds of politicians and rewrite my own social policies.
